⭐ 1/5 - Appalling Service - Do Not Recommend

I am extremely dissatisfied with Peugeot's service and customer care.

My vehicle, only one year old and still under warranty, developed a dashboard light fault. I was charged £160 simply to reset it - an unreasonable cost for such a minor issue on a nearly new car.

When I raised a goodwill complaint, Peugeot Customer Services rejected it without proper explanation, citing only "nature of the issue" and stating their decision was "final" with no room for discussion.

Most concerning was that the company refused to return my vehicle, leaving me without transport. I was forced to use taxis to take my children to school, causing significant inconvenience and additional expense.

This experience has shown a complete lack of customer care and accountability. For a company that claims to value reliability and customer support, their actions demonstrate otherwise.

I strongly advise potential customers to avoid Peugeot. When issues arise - even on vehicles under warranty - you will receive no support and may face unreasonable charges and poor treatment.
Consider alternative manufacturers who genuinely stand behind their products.

We had excellent service from Derby Peugeot from beginning to end.
We dealt with Wahid Hussain who couldn't have been kinder and more patient with us.
He showed us the car on video and helped us all the way through to buying the car.
Anytime we phoned he answered our questions and if Wahid wasn't available, whoever answered the phone were always nice and pleasant and helped us.
Delighted with our car and look forward to driving it.

I located my 2024 308SW on Autotrader. Contacted Vertu Peugeot Derby via the Autotrader App on a Saturday. Got a call centre response Sunday advising a Sales Rep would send a personalised video. This came through about 8.45 Monday with a call from Harry 30 mins later. Over the next 80 mins we agreed a sale including part exchange trade in price. All documentation was conducted online and the deal was completed the same day. We collected the car one week later the whole process taking less than 1 hour including a test drive and examination of part exchange vehicle. I can not praise Vertu and Harry our Rep enough for the simplicity and thoroughness of the process. Highly recommend them even if you live miles away like us. A pleasure to do business

Just like to beef up Harry the salesman at peugeot derby he did an amazing job all the way from the start to the end. I had excellent service and was told everything and informed on what was happening from start to finish cheers for everything Harry pleasure doing business with you.

I booked an appointment with you in March for a recall, clearly stated on the website, it was a 15 minute appointment to confirm if the car needed the work completing under the recall. I took time out of work to get there, my father took time out of work to drive me back after I left my car with you. We arrived before the allotted appointment time. The lady on reception said we have no appointment, showed the confirmation and she stated she didn’t know what that was, “why would we book an appointment 15 mins before we the technician finishes” she said. I have no idea, it’s your business not mine. We left with nothing and were told to call and rebook. I called the next day and booked the appointment, arranged with my employer to take the time out of work, I was called less than 2r hours before the appointment to be told that you didn’t have the parts and couldn’t do it, you would call me once you were ready. I waited 3 months for any contact, driving a car with a safety recall, no other options given by your garage. Finally, I was called and offered an appointment, you told me we will definitely need the car all day and overnight. I asked for a hire car, you have none. I again took the car to the garage, arranging with mine and my fathers jobs to take time out. We get there and finally hand over the car, I think this mess is finally sorted and you have redeemed yourselves. I was wrong. On the day I dropped the car off, I receive a phone call, the car is ready and there is no need for it to remain overnight. I double check as I was told many many times that it definitely needed to stay in overnight. I am told no there is no need. I then receive a video and visual health checklist, my rear brake discs are corroded. I am baffled, as I drive a Peugeot 107 which has no rear brake discs it has a drum. You have quoted me £200 to fix some rust on the brake drum of an 18 year old car, you must be living on another planet. You have also quoted me some money to fix an oil leak which after checking, doesn’t exist. I am suitably irritated at this point. I am shown to my car where you have completed a surface level clean, which is nice. I collect my car, and set off, only to look over and see you have snapped and broken my wiper blade while cleaning. I do not bother going back.

Brand new vehicle handed over damaged. Faulty drive system warning on dashboard and vehicle stopped in lane one on a duel carriageway within 50mts of the dashboard light coming on (police had to shut the lane off for 2hrs for recovery) the vehicle would not move or select drive! I was told to take it away to see if it gets worse or happens again. I left it with them and refused to take it. A driver in the dealership said "on a road test the other day I had it happen to me in another vehicle but the same kind of power loss". They didn't diagnose it, and, they don't give a stuff. Their customer service is the WORST I have ever experienced. The vehicle has had a tailgate latch failure also!. Warning lights are always on and off whenever they feel like it. It's on its 2nd recovery in a MONTH!
