It was such an easy process from start to finish. We were delighted to be invited to the fantastic VIP event and were able to secure the perfect car on a great deal. We were kept up to date with the car and when it was due for collection which we were really impressed by. It was such an easy and fast set-up and couldn't fault Darren and the team more.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience dealing with their technician who was supposed to diagnose my error on my dashboard

After he did his inspection, he believed the vw badge at the front had excess glue on it which was confusing the sensor behind it.

Quote to repair £530 including new front bumper and vw badge😧😧

I didn't go forward with this as I could repair this myself, so when I took off the vw badge to inspect , I found no sensor behind it. Only one sensor attached to the front bumper 5 inches away from the badge to the side.
I felt taken advantage of, like the typical mechanic who trieds to outsmart you and make you pay more than you should. Its a shame vw allowed this as I thought I could trust them.

When I complained to the manager, she defended the technician saying he has high education so he knows best etc.and that it was part of repair routine to start on the bumper first ''really?

But its seems they arent bothered how the customer feels being treated like this. But am glad I did my checks otherwise I'd be £530 down. And the problem still won't be fixed. I hope they improve their services as I really like vw cars, they are well built, shame the wrong people are working there tho

Their software update also made my car undrivable which I had to pay £890 for the airbag module. I question this work aswell

After 1 month wait for this appointment, my car is in the same state as it was before. Except am down £890 , I also asked them to recalibrate my camera as I believed this was the problem linked to the error on my dashboard from online research, but they refused and said they bumper was the issue. Really bad service and you know it, I can only hope head office can fix this. These experiences stay with you forever

They asks me to rebook an appointment to recalibrate the camera now but I dont trust them after this experience, sly people hiding behind nice clothes

Shane was informative with the current offers available. Understood what I wanted from a car and even collected me from home to take me to the dealership so I could pick up my new car. Great friendly service. I would definitely recommend Vertu Leeds.

Hader Ali was brilliant from the moment I walked into the dealership. Great listener and came up with an offer that fitted my criteria exactly. This continued right through the process.

From the moment my brother and I walked into Vertu Motors in Leeds we were greeted by friendly staff and offered a choice of refreshments.

We were then introduced to Christian who, from then onwards we saw every time we visited.

I explained to him that having moved house 12 months earlier I hadn’t been able to get my Golf off the road due to the very steep drive with a lip at the top.

I was interested in purchasing a T-Roc but wondered if there was any possibility of testing one down my drive to make sure I was buying a vehicle that could do the job. The distance between the garage and my house is 14.5 miles. With no hesitation he went to see if that was possible and within 15 minutes we were on our way.

Having only driven manual vehicles for 53 years it was difficult for me to move to an automatic. Christian took me out for a couple of test drives to make sure I was confident driving the vehicle before handing over the keys.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve had a really frustrating experience with Vertu Leeds VW while trying to take delivery of my new electric vehicle. 6 weeks since the original delivery date, I still don’t have the car — and the communication throughout has been poor.

Shortly before delivery, I was told there was a dent in the bonnet caused by a “valve popping off from underneath” due to the heat in the recent heat wave while the car was sitting in the compound. This explanation is baffling for an electric vehicle, which doesn’t have traditional engine valves — and I’ve never received a clear answer about what actually happened.

Since then, I’ve had to chase repeatedly for updates. I was initially promised a new delivery date, then told it would arrive on 12 August. But that date came and went and 4 weeks after discovering the damage it was still not sorted. I was informed at this point that the air conditioning couldn’t be re-gassed because the machine was broken — and the car still needed bonnet repairs.

It’s been delay after delay, with vague updates and no real accountability. For a brand-new EV purchase, I expected far better service and transparency. 6 weeks after delivery date I still don't have a car or any idea when it is coming!! Avoid!

I recently purchased a new car from Leeds Vertu and I couldn’t be happier, Shane was a fantastic salesman and couldn’t of been more helpful, smooth and seamless changeover from my old car to new one.
I would not hesitate to use them again.

This is a follow up of the review i made on the 4.07.2025. I got a reply from the review and was given an email to write to, I emailed detailing what happened and had a reply someone from VW will contact me soon, I waited for about a week and sent another email as a reminder. As of now no one has contacted me discus the issue. very bad customer service. I wonder what i will be told if battery runs out of warranty with this delay.
