Avoid at all cost!!!

I bought a car from Vertu Volvo Truro. All seemed fine, I'm not a mechanic I have not looked underneath it to check all is good. Got healthcheck done few weeks after to find out that I need all new clutch, rear backing plates are badly corroded and front disc pads corroded and low too. They are not even looking to address the clutch issue. I cannot believe how do you sleep at night scamming people!!! You should've been ashamed. Avoid. Better companies out there to buy cars from.

After a difficult start I’ve been back to truro for paintwork to be done and found the best customer service ever. My thanks to manager Tom and Chris Dawson who ensured that I was looked after from start to finish. Everything was completed to a very high standard and im very impressed

Really nice showroom, lovely staff, very welcoming, was having my XC90 T8 serviced, booked it through the app and all went very well.
Until that is it was completed and time to collect, they were still all very polite and friendly, told us all was done and the car was fine but as I walked out to the car I noticed damage to the front bumper, that was most defiantly not there when I left it with them.
One of the managers came out, looked at the car, agreed that the damage was obviously fresh and that he would organize one of the specialist dents away people that they use to come out to me to repair and that he would be in touch, that was a week ago, still waiting for a phone call let alone a date when it will be repaired.
So an initial great experience marred and then made worse by the fact that I am going to have to chase them now.

I am so very happy with the service provided by Volvo Truro especially Connor Williams who was outstanding from start to finish. Our old Volvo XC60 had broken down completely during a very challenging time and we were very anxious about replacing it quickly and efficiently. Connor was exceptional in the support and follow-up that he offered us. He was honest and very professional and listened carefully to our needs.We were able to part exchange remotely with a very fair deal and they replaced our old car with a beautiful almost new one. This was truly a wonderful service as they made a 600 mile round trip to facilitate this.

The car itself has also been trouble free and a wonderful upgrade.

All round, I remain very grateful and happy with the service provided to me at the time (last year) and have found that Connor has been readily available and accessible if I have needed any additional support.

My purchase was seamless and it was an excellent experience.

Purchased a car August 2024. Alloy's were damaged which I was told about prior to making a payment, but they were to be refurbished before I collected. On the day of collection they hadn't been done. Was told on numerous accounts they would get the car in and rect the wheels in an orderly and professional fashion.
Six month's down the line and nothing. The car was paid in full. Customer Sevice is none existent. Once they have your money, they are no longer interested. I am now taking this further with legal action.

I haven't bought a car from a dealer for about ten years so things have changed a bit. When I thought about Volvo it was because of their high standards with regards to safety as I ferry my grandchildren about quite a lot.
When I first stepped foot into the showroom it didn't feel overwhelming like it does in some dealerships, I was greeted and then introduced to Chris M a real gentleman. Chris listened and gave me all the tools required to make an informed decision, he was very knowledgeable which was reassuring and nothing was to much trouble. I test drove two type of vehicle a plug-in hybrid and a mild hybrid.I then presented Chris with my wish list. Truro didn't have anything with that spec however there was a car at Yeovil that did so Chris arranged for its transfer. Now take into account I had never seen this car only photos, I transferred the remaining funds and was nervous of the outcome. Let me assure you that there was no need for concern as Chris had taken care of everything and throughout the whole process I was kept very well informed as to what was going on.
On delivery day everything was taken care of there was no mincing around. Ben the General Manager introduced himself and I felt then that I was joining an exclusive club.
When Chris walked me out to meet the car for the very first time... It was perfect!
I'm now the very proud owner of an XC40 B3P Plus Dark and its the car that keeps giving.
A really huge thank you to Chris M for the lengths you went to and for your professionalism and kindness throughout... And a big thank you to the whole Vertu Volvo team for doing what you do.

What a wonderful experience with all the staff we meet at volvo truro when receiving our new car especially Jo and Connar who looked after us and answered all our questions in detail we know it's there job but everyone there were brilliant thank you all

I have had my two XC70s maintained by Truro Volvo for over 10 years. Over the last week and throughout that period, Simon Spong has, year on year, been excellent in all aspects of a great customer experience.

Volvo XC60 2021 great car until something goes wrong!!. Today the car completely died as it came into our drive with critical alert battery sign. Called Volvo assistance. Yes they would send out a Volvo specialist. Nothing happened so called them back 3 hours later only to be told there was no specialist available. Great! Hopefully he will turn up tomorrow. What do you do if this Volvo dies on a motorway? Not a happy bunny.

At Vertu Volvo in Truro I consider I was lucky to meet Connor, member of the Sales team, who was more than confident from the beginning that will find together the best car for me.
Which became true in few months time, after a lot of patience from both sides, but mostly from Connor side.
I recomand him, so dedicated, patient, reliable at any moment during the search.
Finaly we found a beautiful Volvo V90 R Design which I enjoy every second.
Connor, keep it like that!

We were going to look at a new car for my wife and had no intention of making a purchase on the day. But the whole experience we received from the team was superb, Chris Malton was an absolute gentleman, he took his time to explain his answers to our questions in a highly professional way, his knowledge was very impressive, even the difficult ones my wife had researched. The car we purchased more or less sold itself to us but it was that extra care from Chris that finally sealed the deal. Thank you all but Chris especially.

I have been using the Volvo dealership in Truro ever since it moved from Penryn, many years ago. The after sales service has always been excellent and the customer care from the Service Department; especially Simon Spong and Chris Dawson, has been second to none.

I am now in the market for another Volvo XC90, new this time-being my 7th XC90 and my 15th Volvo. Joe in Sales has already given me a competitive quote and I will be back later this year to put in my order.

I can't recommend Vertu Volvo more.

Booked my car in for a service at Volvo Truro, having not used a main dealer for many years as I have been stung before. Thankfully this company has renewed my faith! I was greeted as I walked in by Lawrence on the front desk who was friendly and helpful, he introduced me to Bella who was my contact for the day, she kept me informed on the progress of my car and when I collected it there were no nasty surprises. Excellent!

We have dealt with Volvo Truro over a number of years because we have always experienced outstanding customer relations in both sales and servicing departments and hope this continues under the new ownership. Recently we purchased a new xc60 and after ordering it there was a staff change. We need not have worried, Connor became our contact and kept in touch throughout the process. He even sent us a video of the car when it arrived because we were abroad and would not be able to collect it for a few weeks. The car was presented excellently, the handover was excellent. Thank you Connor and all the staff involved in the delivery of our new car.
