I sent jewellery to Vintage Cash Cow after seeing their adverts promising a quote within seven working days. My parcel was received by them on 6th March, yet I didn’t receive any offer until 26th March – that’s three full weeks later.
During that time, every time I chased for an update I received the exact same automated reply about how busy they were. No real communication, no apology, just generic excuses.
When the offer finally arrived it was a pathetic £162. I immediately asked for my items to be returned. To their credit, the jewellery was sent back and arrived on 1st April.
I have since sold the almost all of the pieces to a high street buyer for £610 with the exception of one item which I sold privately for £400. So in total £1010. One item I decided not to sell and I still have it.
If you want a quick, fair valuation and a decent price, look elsewhere. Vintage Cash Cow wasted three weeks of my time with delays and then tried to buy my jewellery for a fraction of its real value. Very disappointed and would not recommend them at all.

Sent a box of items off for valuation. Hunters watch 50 years old, dads retirement watch 60 years old. Bear gloove puppet 60 years old, backgammon set 25 years old, silver plated spoons. Plus loads extra. £28 the box, never again, they rip you off and ply on the vunerable.

Nearly 3 weeks since I sent my items off! They informed me they have recd my items and it won't be long before u got an offer......As I said 3 weeks n know offer, when I contacted them they asked me to describe my box and the contents???????? Was told someone would contact me within 10 days which would take it up to nearly 1 month??????? They have assured me they are on it.....personally I think my items have gone missing or stolen!

Be very very cautious when sending off your items....I have seen on TV their great adverts with so many happy people getting an offer within 7 days???????????? I'm really Pi**Ed off with this company which come across like they are professional and offering you a great price. Imo they are scammers....never would I use Vintage Cash cows again......rather donate my stuff to a charity shop for no money.....Ive lost my items,they don't know where they are...asking me for a description of the box I sent them in is a bloody joke......the words that spring to my mind is Arthur daily and Fagen!!!!!!! TOTALLY NOT IMPRESSED.....

Not fair valuation
It seems whatever in the box the valuation is 20/28 or 31 . However my mum sold one item was in the box for £15 On eBay … definitely I donor recommend anybody to use this platform unless you have to …
When I google the item myself I find it list at high price on eBay when my mum send it to this website it means nothing …
Their reply for all negative reviews the same as they do not have a good answer

Spend less on tv advertising and give better valuations. I sent a box of goods. I knew that I wasn't going to get rich, but I got an offer that was, quite honestly, insulting. My thoughts are, I would never use this company again. Be aware, take care.

Rang Trust Pilot asking for a label, they told me I had to weigh the silver I had to make sure it was worth their time taking it.,Not what the TV advert says . Not impressed didn’t seem very interested .

They con gullible people please avoid them their valuations are cheap so they can line their own pockets find a local jewellers first

WHERE IS MY FIRST REVIEW?
Today I received all my items back from 2 boxes to Vintage cash cow. After I checked them off on my list, I was pleased to see that they were all there and carefully packed to avoid damage.
Photograph the items before sending and write a detailed list to avoid problems later. To Vintage Cash Cow I would say - spend less on all the expensive TV advertisements and more on your offers to contributors.

Something not quite right here as the last time i looked there were hundreds of one star reviews saying that vintage cash cow had ripped them off! There was also a note to say this company was under investigation and now not a single review is left, something really stinks here!!
