I would strongly advise avoiding Viola Hair.

I ordered multiple packs of extensions and nano beads, and within just two weeks of having them professionally fitted, all of the extensions fell out. I then had to pay for a full refit out of my own pocket. After this happened, my hairdresser spoke to other professional fitters who also advised that this is a common issue with Viola at the moment, particularly with their beads.

At my eight-week refit, the situation got even worse — the blonde extensions were completely matted and unusable, and the colour was inconsistent with what I originally ordered. The quality is genuinely shocking.

Trying to resolve this has been just as bad. Viola were slow to respond and had to be chased repeatedly. When they finally replied, they asked me to return the hair for “assessment” but expect me to pay for tracked postage, despite the products clearly being faulty.

After speaking with multiple professionals and looking at other reviews, I’ve been warned that this is a common pattern — customers are made to pay to return faulty items, only for the company to deny responsibility and refuse refunds, leaving people out of pocket twice.

Because of this, I do not feel confident sending the hair back at my own expense.

Between the poor product quality and the way complaints are handled, this has been a frustrating and costly experience. I would not trust this company or their products.

Really disappointed – order not received by me, proof of delivery picture is some sort of shed, I don’t have a shed and being told to pay again instead of being helped. Not great for a first-time salon trial. After multiple emails back and forth it’s easy to see customer care is not their priority. I’m away on holiday in just over a week and had explained that to them,explained the urgency and still their only option was for me to pay again for more hair. Is it just me or would you pay for hair a second time when you didn’t receive it the first time?

Do not use this company!! Used for years on end previously and my most recent set of nanos is actually laughable! How on earth Viola find it acceptable to supply hair of such awful quality is actually beyond me. I started with 22inch extensions and had them fitted in November 2025. By January the entire lot was like a rats tail. I have only ever used their recommended shampoo and conditioner on the hair and it has still snapped off beyond belief. The hair was barely 18 inches as of Feb. Viola should actually be ashamed of themselves, conning people out of hundreds of pounds for hair which is clearly synthetic. Have lost my custom after 5 years, at least I get to rock a birds nest though!!

I paid for next day delivery for it not to be delivered next day at all. Fair enough it was a long bank holiday weekend - but that means it should have come Tuesday but it came Thursday with no apologies or refund offer.

I have to send another review. The response Viola hair has given is complete rubbish. Funny how on all their replies, it’s never their fault. Photographic evidence? Really, yet to still see that and open to communicate, again hilarious, seen as you have ignored the last three emails sent. Stop lying and own your mistakes.

The best quality hair, i use for all my clients & recommend their aftercare products too. Never disappoints, fast delivery and prompt, helpful customer service. Very reasonably priced for the quality aswell, i have used other brands in the same price bracket and the hair quality doesn’t compare at all.

I paid for next day delivery and it took around 5 days to come. ITS NEVER IN STOCK so I can’t even get the rest of the hair I need. Iv now seen the shocking 1star reviews on here, im scared to get the rest of it now not that it will be in stock anyway.

Absolutely disgusting service. The hair came knotted and the hair was already shredding from the hair. It had about 5 strands per extension and looked mortifying. We sent them back and they refuse to give us a refund because they weigh differently even though we haven’t used them. You may all that money for the hair to snap and not be used!!!

Do not buy from here! The hair is terrible and customer service is none existent, absolute cowboys selling mixed synthetic hair and passing off as 100% human... I will be taking this to trading standards thanx

Avoid purchasing from this company. I’ve only had my hair extensions in for three weeks, and they’re already developing pink tones. I haven’t used sun cream, been in chlorine or salt water, and I even have a filter on my shower. I’ve also used very minimal heat, only once or twice since having them fitted, so there’s no clear reason for this issue.
The company’s customer service has been extremely disappointing, as they’ve refused to take responsibility or offer a proper resolution. I’ve already had to use a Malibu hard water crystal treatment, which shouldn’t be necessary after spending £250 on extensions. Instead of addressing the fault, they’ve advised me to continue using treatments to manage the problem.
The discolouration is affecting the strands with lowlights, so I asked if they could send a replacement batch without lowlights. They refused and suggested I just keep treating the hair instead.
If you’re looking to waste your money, this is the company to choose. To be clear, this is not a reflection of my hairdresser—she’s been fantastic and takes great care to ensure my hair looks its best. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the supplier she uses, VIOLA.
