I don't see any orders from you or any communication. The last order was in April of 2024. You are correct we don't accept insurance, but we make it super easy with our invoices and have links to numerous insurance companies. Our pricing is less than most companies including insurance. I would love to know what you ordered and when.
You placed an order for $148.00 that we gave a 20% discount to. I hear that young lady on the phone and she is very pleasant and apologizes to customers for not taking insurance. I cannot believe you would say we blow and do a lol. We work very hard and try to be courteous with all of our customers.

I just got my new glasses and oh my god. They are absolutely amazing. I got glass lenses. I have wore glasses my whole life and I have never had this kind of vision out of any of the glasses I have worn. Everything is crystal clear. My no line bifocal are perfect as well. I recommend this company 💯 %. I will be buying another pair soon. Their prices are next to none.

Let me start off by saying if I could give them a 10 outta 10 I totally would!!!! I’ve literally been searching the web for MONTHS….for a good after market sunglasses replacement GLASS LENS prescription company!!! I found Tara at VS eyewear and she was a GOD SENT!!! Not only was she EXTREMELY NICE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE….but she delivered WAY BEYOND MY DREAMS!!! I sent her 3 of my favorite expensive sunglasses (3 Maui Jim) and I was adamant about real Glass lenses W/ my prescription!!! She it’s gonna be a tough task to pull off…. BOY DID SHE HIT A GRAND SLAM!!! It took about 2 weeks and when they arrived a few days I was in AWE!!! I was not only blown away by how beautiful the work was on my lenses, but the sunglass cases… that she didn’t even tell me that they were gonna be a part of my order absolutely breathtaking!!! Bottom line is you cannot find a better company let alone Customer Service not to mention quality anywhere in this country!!!! We have to not lease. Her pricing was absolutely amazing also!!! I am somewhat of an eyeglass collector
I am somewhat of an eyeglass collector. As such, I order 10 or so pairs at a time. I needed someone to do the actual prescription lenses for my frames.
After an internet search, I happened across VS. I ended up calling and speaking with Mike DeMasi. He helped me get all my questions answered and was very friendly.
He was open and honest with a ETA. Now... on the first order he did not meet the ETA. HOWEVER, he then discounted my order to make it right. I did not ask for this, he just did it as it was the right thing to do.
I am very happy with VS eyewear as it provides me the value I was looking for in larger orders.
I am about to send them some more!!

Sent wrong glasses
Sent wrong glasses, website does not specify what glasses you want. I downloaded my prescription online like I’ve done before. They automatically send you glasses for distance, I spoke to a customer service representative who said he would get the right pair to me. And sent the same pair again.

1. The customer placed an order for specialty single vision glass lenses on March 20th. He uploaded a prescription which had an Add (Bifocal). The customer didn't see an option to Add because he selected Single Vision which is the least expensive order option.
2. We contacted the customer immediately that day and sent him an email asking if he wanted single vision or actually wanted a bifocal as per his prescription. We told him we can make them as single vision, just let us know if you want for distance which is standard or reading.
3. He replied via email and said Single Vision
4. We ordered single vision glasses and shipped them to him in a timely manner.
5. I use an email program and will include this whole conversation.
6. He emailed on 4-12th saying just this. They mixed up the order and sent me safety glasses. Still waiting for the correct order.
7. We rushed the order to make up for the error and sent him a new pair in a few days. NO CHARGE, We thought we made an error with the first pair so we made up a new one without asking questions.
8. The customer called after receiving blaming the website for not having an Add, again even though he selected single vision.
9. On April 20th after demanding his money back he then requested that These are supposed to be for reading only, but never once told us this information.
10. As far as us not standing by our policy, we went well beyond our policy. We made up a pair of glasses correctly and made him another pair N/C. This wasn't our error and we asked the question before the order was placed, but never got an accurate answer from the customer.
I cannot add an image, but below is the first email we sent when we received the incorrect order. This is directly from our email program that saves conversations:
Good Morning David,
Thanks for your order for the prescription glasses! Can you please verify that you do indeed only want Single Vision glasses produced?
The prescription that you uploaded has an Bifocal (Add) for your Reading or close up work. If you do only want single vision that is fine, just let us know if you want it for Distance or Reading and we will continue with the order. If you want Bifocal, let us know if you want the Flat Top 28 Lined version or the Progressive No-Line Multi-focus version?
We will send you a payment request link to pay for the price difference.
Stole my frames and my money
I sent in my frames for a glass lens replacement over a year ago. At first they were sent back promptly, but the prescription they put in was incorrect and I could not see out of the glasses. I contacted them regarding this and they said to send back the glasses for a second lens replacement. That was over six months ago and they have held my frames with no communication or refund. I wasted over $200 and they stole my frames so I can't even get them re-lensed elsewhere.

Nothing was stolen form this customer. We did make a mistake and didn't follow through with this return with our supplier. A refund was issued before this review and the frames were sent back and received with our deepest apologies.
The customer service was excellent
The customer service was excellent. I was assisted in filling out the forms to order with very thorough instructions. I was very pleased with their patience.
When I received my order I was so satisfied that I ordered another pair of frames to forward to them for a second pair to be made. My wife is going to move forward with ordering a pair as well. You cannot beat real glass. Plastic scratches too easily, glass does not.
Grateful for having discovered VS eyewear.

The order was placed October 16th, two weeks ago, so you didn't email after two weeks to check on it. You ordered a special Costa frame with a real glass prescription. You are correct we ordered the frame and it didn't come in on time. It was our error, we didn't follow up and see why it was delayed in shipping. When we check with our manufacture they had it in stock and assured us they were shipping it immediately.
I contacted you on the 25th of October with an updated delivery date and my apologies. I told you it would be another 7-10 days to get made up with your prescription and gave you the option for cancelling and getting a refund. You told me to go ahead and proceed with the order. I get an email late last night from you and told you I would check on them tomorrow morning and get back to you. As I came in today, I get an email from you with all types of insults and curse words, demanding to cancel the order and refund. You didn't even give me a chance to get an update. The glasses were in edging and would be ready to ship on Monday, but I never had a chance to answer you. Even though it is a special item and we end up throwing away the product a refund will be issued and we cancelled the order.
We did make a mistake and the order was running a little later than expected, but we tried to remedy the solution and make things right including offering a discounted price.

I ordered some motorcycle riding glasses recently from VSEyewear. I was a little apprehensive about ordering glasses online, but they offered the best price so I went ahead. I received an email the next day that something didn't look right with my prescription, and could I verify the numbers were correct. I called my optometrist, and sure enough there was a mistake. It was so nice to have someone actually pay attention to the product they are selling instead of just processing the order. The glasses are great and very happy I chose VS Eyewear. Thank you.

It’s been two months and three returns
It’s been two months and three returns. I purchased blue glasses with anti-reflection via their website, later they email me and say they only have black. Fine. The glasses arrive and they do t have anti reflection. I send them back. A month later the glasses arrive, but are scratched in the center of the lens and now the left side of both lenses are out of focus.
I call for a full refund, apparently they don’t do that. Only store credit if 50%.
AVOID THIS COMPANY! I’m out $600 and haven’t been able to see for two months now.

I searched numerous ways and cannot find anything. I think you are reviewing a different company, because this isn't our policy and how we would have handled this situation. purchased prescription safety glasses thru them between ins. and cash was out of pocket 436.00 and the p.o.s scratched up inside of one week....besides the fact the lenses were not actually correct. when i did as the asked and sent them back they said they never received them and that was the end of it.....this was with dealing with the suppossed owner....so now im out the money and have used my ins. for the year so i have to go completely out of pocket.......so in short....the company is bs....their customer service is non existant....close as i have dealt with a fly by night company in a while.....save your money get better quality better service by going local or with any company besides vs eyewear

It is a shame when you order specialty prescription glasses with REAL Glass lenses. These are never going to get as dark as regular sunglasses or Transition Xtractive Lenses in plastic lenses, but these are special made lenses. We shipped exactly what was ordered. We took pictures of them on an overcast day and they changed exactly how they should. We sent pictures and offered to give you a free pair of clip on sunglasses for super bright days, but you turned us down. Sorry you are not happy with your purchase, but we made up a really nice pair of glasses for you with specialty real glass lenses.
VS Eyewear is Great!
They are one of the few places where real glass replacement lenses may be ordered. I have ordered my second pair from them. Glass lenses are not cheap, but VS products are fairly priced. Mike and his team have verified with me the specifics of my order to make sure I got what I wanted.

i ordered the real glass eq304 with comfort (pink) tint.. and they are awesome!!!
i had bought vuarnet pink ones.. and i had to send them back.. they were uncomfortable.. and they really did not impress me.. even though they were 300 dollars. i bought oakley prizm glasses.. and they were comfortable.. but they were not impressive.. so i sent them back.
i just needed something to be able to wear while on the computer.. (not gaming; just on the computer).
the vs eyewear real glass eq304 comfort tint glasses (real glass) are awesome!!! schott glass. they are the company whose founder invented borosilicate glass!
and they were around 60 dollars!!!

Bad quality frame and lenses
I recently receive my $204.00 prescription safety glasses from this small company and they were the worst RX glasses every. THEY WERE VERY WIDE AND WOBBLED ON MY FACE. Also my vision from the lenses were a bit distorted. Just poor quality. I would have been better off purchasing these from my local Walmart Optical Center. I ordered prescription eye glasses from Walmart before and never had a problem. Always great quality. Hard lesson learned.

We try very hard to work with our customers and make sure they are pleased with there glasses and shopping experience. Unfortunately you cannot please everyone and this person certainly is one of them. He ordered special made glasses that were shipped very quickly with the EXACT frame that he selected and his exact prescription. We have all the measurements in plain view on this item and offer a buy to try on option. Customer called back and said his glasses were made correctly and he couldn't see. We sent him a return authorization and told him we would get the glasses inspected and if incorrect remake no charge. After a few days, he calls back and says the glasses are fine, they are just too large. He wanted to send them back for a full refund. He kept telling me it says it on our web site that this can be done. I politely asked him to point this out on our site and of course he couldn't. We have a very fair return policy and do offer full refunds for non prescription eyewear, but unfortunately once the glasses were made the lenses are only good for that one person. I tried to work with him on offering a full refund for the frame and a heavily discounted price on a pair that would work, but of course I got cursed at, yelled at and hung up on. I wish he had a better experience, but we sure tried our hardest. Good luck to him moving forward.

Frames were falling apart & lenses I can't see out of. I notified them the moment I got them and every week since with no reply. I have yet to hear back from this company and I've paid for a pair of glasses that I cannot wear.

Avoid buying safety glasses from VS
Got a prescription safety glasses end of July 2023 and already its been coming apart. When enquired blames it on hot climate for the glasses to come apart. Had got it before and even in hot srea nothing happened but this time its in tatters.
Customer service was not helpful and felt they didn't want to help at all as if they accept their low quality workmanship then they have to refund.
Never will buy from here.

I would have never blamed the heat for the breakdown. If this was within warranty, which it is we would have sent you a new frame no charge.
