I had a combi boiler installed and very smooth service, from Gaynor on reception, to Alan who did all the work on his own, I must say he is incredible. Very happy with the service and I would recommend to use this company.

Walsh Plumbing Ltd have installed a replacement Vaillant gas heat-only boiler at our property. Upon completion, there were issues with the boiler starting, where it would shut down with an error code. To resolve this issue, I was advised that an Automatic Bypass Valve (ABV) was required. This was installed, at extra cost of more than £150/hr, but made no improvement. I contacted Valliant, who informed me that the ABV had been installed at the incorrect location in the system. They recommended that I have the system surveyed by GasSafe. The GasSafe report identified various issues with the installation, some of which have been resolved, and others, including the position of the ABV not. I am now in the position that I need to pay another plumber to relocate the AVB to the correct location.

Good communication. Attended when stated. Kept us informed when person was arriving at our house. Friendly, polite, & helpful. We had our boiler serviced & radiators balanced. Reasonable cost.

You will not get a better service.
I received the Walsh quote on Monday, accepted the quote on Wednesday evening and the job was finished Thursday afternoon.
My boiler kept locking out, was in a poor state of maintenance and needed replacing. I obtained several quotes for the work and although their quote was not the cheapest, it looked best value for money.

A cheaper sole trader quote on the Tuesday
An expensive Gas Board quote on the Wednesday

I phoned the pleasant and very efficient Gaynor on Wednesday evening and when I told her we were without hot water she arranged for the work to be done Thursday afternoon!

Ross arrived at 13.30 pm followed by Phil a bit later, and 4 hours later they went home: JOB DONE

Boiler replaced, gas supply pipe size increased, flue replaced, condense pipe enlarged, system flushed and refilled including inhibitor, all 11 radiators vented, system tested and in full working order.

An impressive display of honesty by Ross who found spare wires in a cable to the loft which meant that I did not need a wireless device to work the pump over-run which saved me £70-00. My experience with contractors is they look for extras, not make savings.

I highly recommend this company.

We were offered warranty,service and maintenance when the boiler was installed.Unfortunately, we didnot ask for a written agreement and now we been asked to pay for yearly service and maintenance. I will never reccommend them.

Very pleased, Engineer started 8.30am stripped out old boiler. Fitted new Boiler and Flue. Removed all old materials. And finished approx 3.30pm. Would definitely recommend this company.

After another company caused damage to my boiler, Walsh Plumbing stepped in and resolved the issue within 24 hours—even with needing to order a part! Their communication throughout the process was outstanding. They kept me updated every step of the way and even called to check if arriving earlier than expected (12:30) would be convenient for me.

The professionalism and care didn’t stop there—they followed up later to ensure everything was working perfectly. Gaynor and the engineer were fantastic and so helpful in helping to find and fit a replacement shower. I called them in the morning and they found the shower and had replaced it by 4pm the same day.

Got a good feeling about these guys from the word go. From Gaynor on the phone to Dylan for our quote visit to Neil our engineer, all were first class. Paid slightly more than another quote but so glad we did. The quality of work from Neil exceeded our belief on what these guys would deliver. Never have I had an engineer in our house who has worked so independently and probably left our house cleaner than when he arrived!
Thoroughly recommend these guys for boiler installs and any heating/plumbing jobs you might need them for.

Walsh Plumbing were fantastic to deal with from start to end. Unlike the larger companies they send an engineer to survey the job prior to providing a quote, this also gives you the opportunity to ask any questions or get advice before you place an order.

Once I placed the order and paid the 10% deposit, they were able to install the new boiler within a few days.

The fitter arrived on time and completed the work as planned; the install quality is excellent. They also ensured that the work met all the boiler manufacturers requirements e.g. a chemical flush, magnetic compliant filter and water limescale filter, this is important to ensure I get the full 10 year manufactures guarantee.

There fitters work for them, and many have been with the company for several years. This is not always the case with some of the large installers who contract out the fitting.

Since the install they have contacted me to ensure I was happy and have triggered the paperwork for the registration of the boiler and the gas safety certificate.

We did have a small issue on the day of install as their supplier could not get hold of a NEST thermostat due to a product shortage. I managed to buy one locally and Walsh compensated me with no hesitation or issues. This really showed a great level of customer focus.

I have now taken up an annual maintenance contract which they offer to ensure the boiler remains gas safe and I get the manufactures warranty.

Walsh Plumbing were not the cheapest, but they were not the most expensive either. They offer good old fashioned customer service, and you can speak with a real person, not a call centre in ??????

I fear that the larger companies like BOXT and British Gas have great sales but their after sales service is not as good.

In summary a great company you can trust to do a quality job at a fair price with excellent customer service.

We had a new boiler fitted in march and everything went perfect despite the odd problem that cropped up then in September the programmer packed up so I called them to see what could be done and once again they came up trumps, Dylan was out on a job but he called on his way home with a new timer and fitted the part so it was all up and running within 3 hours top marks to you.

Brilliant Service. They made, what turned out to be a difficult new boiler and pipe fit, very straightforward. I would highly recommend.
