Having sold my London townhouse and moving to a flat in Marylebone I sought a professional removal company. My estate agent recommended Anthony Ward Thomas and the service provided before, during and after the moves has been of the absolutely highest standard. Showing extreme care in moving furniture out , and equally placing in my newly refurbished property , the attention to detail and respect for my concerns were clearly met. If I were to move again I would use Anthony Ward Thomas without any hesitation.

I have ysed Anthony Ward Thomas for yet another move and they were even more amazing than our first move! The whole team were professional, kind and very well organized and effcient. We had so many boxes and furniture and they treated every single item with extremely care and managed to fit a sofa-bed through a very tiny door. I can’t recommend this company highly enough! Moves are always stressful but with Anthony Ward Thomas you have this peace of mind that you are in good hands!

I recently attended AWT to inspect items as part of a valuation of high value antiques. Dale and the team were absolutely superb on the day, assisting me for over four hours straight, by unwrapping all the boxed items so that I could inspect and value them. They then very carefully repacked everything.
I could see from the way that they handled the items, and took special care in rewrapping rugs, that they work to the very highest standards and pay particular attention to detail.
The firm could not have been more friendly, professional or helpful on the day and I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Ward Thomas are the best. I've used them several times & each time I think the team cannot be bettered. Always friendly, willing and a delight to have around. Thoroughly recommend.

Anthony Ward Thomas handled our move to a new house over 3 days. I have nothing but praise for them: great team that was a pleasure to have around and work with, did an excellent job of packing and labelling, and reassembled and set out our furniture in the new house, even shifting things around without complaint when we changed our mind a couple of times. The empty boxes and packing materials were picked up within a day of my signalling we were ready to have them collected. A really class outfit.

Unacceptable service!
We had a number of issues with Anthony Ward/ Master Removers/ Aussie or whatever company name they are going by that day.

For starters, we did a survey where I showed everything in the house to be removed. I had a lighting fixture that was hanging on the wall. Unfortunately it required an impact drill for removal and the crew didn’t have one. we needed to call an emergency electrician for £200.
This company bills itself as a premium service so at a minimum they should have asked if we had any lighting fixtures needing removal. Especially since I showed it during the survey.

The packing was done horribly. Stuff was literally thrown it’s boxes and most were just labeled “miscellaneous” I had a £179 mat for my daughters room that was so badly bent I had to throw it out. The company said they would reimburse me a measly £40.

The worst bit of it all is that they discarded my Miele vacuum and lost my duvet. When questioned piero ( I assume he is a manager) said that my husband instructed the crew that the vacuum wasn’t coming with us and was to be thrown out. My husband absolutely didn’t say this and ultimately this is a dishonest company.

If anyone has any questions I’d be happy to share more feedback and provide emails where the manager states that his crew all have the same story and essentially that my husband is a liar. So much for the customer is always right!

These guyz are a joy to work with from the planning of the move, and being flexible even though plans were changing frequently, to the packing to the actual moving day. Everyone worked very hard and no request was too difficult. Highly recommend if you want a smooth move! Thank you to the whole team involved.

Genuinely brilliant. I called them on a Sunday morning when I was all in a panic and they came to my rescue. Good value, super efficient and extremely nice chaps. Couldn’t have been happier all round. Would highly recommend. A huge thank you to the team. I don’t know what I’d have done without you.

I have used Ward Thomas several times in the past. I like their cheerful crews and efficient service. Cant really fault them & despite many removal firms coming into the marketplace I invariably return to WT.

We were moving from a flat in London, partly to a smaller flat in London, but also to Hampshire.
I cannot recommend Anthony Ward Thomas highly enough. From the first call, explaining what was needed, through to the moves themselves, everyone was excellent. Helpful, polite, efficient.
The removal guys were brilliant. Packed everything with great care, including valuable paintings and then transported it all with no fuss. Just great!

Used these as a bit of a last minute move.
Was great from start to finish I would definitely recommend and use again.

Really hard working team who were in good spirits throughout, even on day 2 towards end of shift. Friendly team, happy to accommodate any requests. This is the 2nd time the company has taken care of our removals (the first time under ‘Aussie man with van’). Highly recommended.

The team were outstanding and super-efficient. Laszlo, Barnabas and the rest just made it stress-free and even fun. The planning and logistics of the job were well worked out and everything went smoothly. The pricing was fair for what was involved and I think they give good value.

I had another excellent experience moving with Anthony Ward Thomas. The team were hardworking, efficient, professional and courteous. I had some complicated paperwork issues involving VAT and Customs as I was moving internationally and I had excellent support from the office. I will definitely be using Anthony Ward Thomas for any future moves and would recommend them to anyone.
