At Water Babies our programme is designed to build confidence, water safety skills and a lifelong love of the water, with technical swimming skills developing progressively as children grow and gain experience. Teacher is amazing! We really enjoy the class. Only thing that lets it down is the changing rooms. They’re dirty and absolutely freezing. Not ideal when it’s a baby class

We absolutely love and recommend water babies to every new parent. Our teacher Zoe is incredible and my babies confidence in water grows each week.
Although it is a little more expensive than some other swimming lessons in our area, in my opinion it’s money very well spent.

Our lessons are fantastic and my son really enjoys them, our teacher in Newbury is lovely and the lessons flow well. However I would say it’s a little more expensive than other lessons available.

Classes are kept small so every baby receives plenty of individual attention, and our instructors are highly trained. Beyond learning to swim, our lessons focus on building water confidence, supporting your baby's physical and cognitive development, and creating a fun bonding experience for families. We believe in providing a high-quality programme rather than simply offering the lowest price.

We love waterbabies so much
We love waterbabies so much. Started at 4 months and still going. Her absolute favourite part of her week. Teachers have all been amazing. The classes have good structure and we feel so at ease that they have knowledge to lead them to swimming independently and also learn many important safety measures. So glad we chose waterbabies for this.

Great swimming teachers
We’ve been swimming with Water Babies since our son was just a few months old, and his confidence in the water has come on leaps and bounds. Our teacher is exceptional—so encouraging, patient, and truly wonderful with the children. The lesson plans are always engaging, well-structured, and genuinely fun for the kids.
The Whiteley facility is very good overall, featuring a fantastic underwater viewing window where you can watch the little ones swimming under the surface! My only small constructive feedback is that a few of the baby changing units currently need repairing. Aside from that, we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Water safety and confidence
Child no 4 in waterbabies. I have seen it all with wobbles, no underwater, refusal to get into the pool / off the steps. All challenges met with care and compassion from teachers and admin. All my kids love water but are cautious yet confident. Some amazing teachers over the years

Highly recommend!
Our son has been swimming with Water Babies since he was 4 months old (now 21 months) and his confidence in the water has grown immense since we began. He doesnt particularly enjoy going underwater, however each teacher we have had, has never pushed him and gone with his speed. The teachers do have a lesson plan each week to follow, however they also follow the childrens lead which is lovely to see. Highly recommend

I would recommend Water Babies to any parent!!
I would recommend Water Babies to any parent. The program is incredible. We started taking our daughter when she was 3 months. Within a few months she is able to hold herself afloat if she was in an accident. What is also amazing is she uses this hold on skill out of the water (when shopping and sitting in a trolly). The confidence she has gained in the water is beautiful. Worth every penny.

Super swimming!
My baby has been swimming with water babies since he was 8 weeks old. He is now 3. He has complete confidence in the water and has learnt so much over the years. The teachers are knowledgable and caring. We have had a few issues with cancellations however, Clare, has gone above and beyond to resolve this issue. She is a superstar and my little one loves her!
