After my long blonde hair starting falling out in my mid 50s (apparently due to hormonal changes after menopause) I started researching hair loss products. I tried a few, including hair loss shampoos, menoxidil treatments and tablets - nothing gave significant improvement - until I read reviews on Watermans and thought I'd give it a try. It's been a few months now and not only does the product smell amazing and leaves my hair fresher and cleaner than any previous products, but the hair loss (hairfall) has drastically reduced. It's not zero hair loss (and apparently some hair loss is normal anyway) but I would say it's reduced to about 5-10% of what it was. I will definitely keep purchasing and using Watermans shampoo & conditioner (I have a monthly subscription). I have also just ordered a bottle of the leave-in serum and will see how that goes. Watermans is not a cheap product but it's definitely real nourishment for the hair and scalp and I can certainly see the difference not only in substantially reduced hair loss, but in how my hair looks and feels.

Update since this review was made.
I was at the hairdressers today & he said to me he could feel my hair was thicker, no hair loss when he washed & he could see new hair growth 🙂

Fast delivery. I've been using shampoo & conditioner for almost two months now. I'm so pleased with the results already..my hair use to be fine & limp with alot of hair loss during brushing & washing. Now my hair is thicker, stronger with very little hair loss only your normal daily loss...
My advice to anyone is do as it says on the bottle. Give it time. For me it took a while for my hair to adjust things may look worse before they get better but I assure it does get better. I 💯 recommend this product

Bought the shampoo and conditioner to help grow my hair, not only did my hair not grow it made it extremely dry.

Menopausal hair loss was devastating to me. My hair was coming out in handfuls in the shower and I genuinely thought I would need to end up wearing a wig.
I had tried other shampoos that promised regeneration including natural seaweed products, but they just didn’t suit me and made my thin hair feel like straw. My doctor recommended regenerative scalp products but I hated putting chemicals on my head and was concerned about all the strict usage rules and side effects.
So Watermans was a last resort - and I’m so pleased I took the leap. Using it for the first time I was pleased how it made my hair feel as it immediately looked fuller and shiny, though it did feel odd leaving the shampoo on for longer than the conditioner! Obviously, no overnight miracles, but over the weeks it did feel like my hair was getting thicker.
I changed my routine in the shower, putting shampoo on first before washing in order to leave it on for long enough, then rinsing and putting the conditioner on. After a couple of weeks my scalp did start to feel a little itchy in a tingly way but nothing concerning. On reflection, this was probably new hair growth starting.
I use the shampoo and conditioner all the time now - even taking it on overnight trips and to my hairdressers for her to use on me instead of their usual products. And this time, when she was washing my hair, she couldn’t believe how much new hair growth she could see, especially around my hairline.
Fair to say I won’t use another shampoo and conditioner now and recommend it to all my friends in the hope it works as well for them as it does for me.
My advice? Give it a try - but keep at it for at least a couple of bottles. It’s not an overnight solution as it takes time to work. And don’t forget to leave the shampoo on for at least 3 minutes to give yourself the best chance of success.

Not bad but didn’t really see any improvement

I’ve been using the products for 3/12 & although there is no significant growth I think the hair around the temples is beginning to show some improvement. Overall my hair looks & feels in better condition, unsure if that’s due to products or regularity in shampooing/conditioning.
I still have approximately 1/4-1/3 of products
left & happy with the products & recommended routine

I read the reviews and the shampoo and conditioner were highly recommended, after reading some negative reviews i decided to try plantur 39 first, on comparison Plantur 39 made my hair feel thicker from first wash but really dry, the shampoo lathered well but the conditioner was to runny and for a tiny bottle you had to use alot, by the end of first week I had to do a 2nd condition with a hydrating conditioner, I decided i would give Watermans a try the shampoo doesnt lather as much, but conditioner is thicker, and my hair doesnt feel like straw anymore, im not sure if it will help with new growth as it is to early to say, overall my preference is Watermans, prices are similar, but my hair isnt as dry, the best thing to remember is everyones hair is different and will react differently

Stated using this when I found out I’ve got alopecia and was hoping this would help and it definitely did my hair has started to grow back slowly but surely xx

I have androgenic alopecia and my hair is thinning and getting weaker. I tried this shampoo and conditioner along with the serum for 5 months now. I have managed to grow layers out and some of my bleach damage. This is the nicest shampoo I've ever used. Along with the conditioner my hear feels healthy and has an amazing shine. The serum is great because it doesn't leave my hair greasy! I'm not sure I see any new regrowth in the sparce areas but perhaps is maintaining what I have. There do seem to be some baby hairs so I will continue using the products and hope they will grow to proper long hairs.

Love using their shampoo and conditioner. I've definitely noted less hair fall since using it. Can't wait until their gummies are back in stock too!

This product if used correctly really works. I have a new hairline and got rid of my bald patch. My hair feels thicker.
I use shampoo and conditioner, inbetween washes ,use the serum.
I also buy this product on Amazon as I get delivery free. If there's a great offer on ,I buy direct

The whole range from the shampoo,condition, hair growth serum, not forgetting the oil are absolutely amazing. You have got to give it a try! I tried so many shampoos, conditions and products for my hair but nothing really suited my hair, when I used these products I just new!! These are the products for me. I wanted something that I could use regularly and that was UK based and this is definitely the product for me. If u don't give it a try you won't know.

Have been using the shampoo for several months now but only the shampoo as I needed a more moisturizing conditioner. Definitely have seen a great reduction in hair loss so assume this has made my hair stronger. I used to use Regaine alongside this but have stopped and my hair has remained the same. I do however wash my hair daily and have been using it so. Extremely pleased and surprised that the product works!!! :-)

Watermans helped me so much . I wasn’t using the shampoo correctly and after advice to leave it on the scalp for minutes I do at least 5 minutes . Then shower it away after using conditioner . Then I massage the elixier into my scalp where it was needed . Hair regrowth takes time . Be patient it worked for me. I also use the mascara that works for me as well . I ordered on watermans website and received it. 3 months later I noticed a further deduction had been taken from my bank account. Upon enquiry I asked how they informed me I opted in for refills every 3 months. I have checked the website and it's automatically selected for you to opt in for 3 months subscription. I asked them to refund me and I am not paying for the shipment back of the product I didn't order. The response I got was not satisfactory and I've to pay to ship it back from Ireland to the UK. Please be aware of what you're signing up to as its not obvious nor something you would be expecting as this is a very sneaky way of ensuring they get money from you without you knowing. Unfortunately I'm unable to respond to the vendor responses. Your response to confirmation emails are sent. These end up in spam. This would be avoided if it's not automatically selected for you if this wasn't in place. The fact you have responses and mechanisms to reconfirm in place just goes to show you have tried to cover yourselves for this scam.

Hair feels nice after you use the shampoo & conditioner, however that’s as good as it gets. Been using for over 6 months & no change, just another company claiming they’ve got the answers. Not straightforward to cancel subscriptions, not user friendly site when you want to cancel.

I started using this product 4 weeks ago after recommendation following PRP injections. I am losing a lot of hair during the shampooing process. Is this normal? Should I continue using the product?
