Watson European Reviews

The team at Watson European have just finished moving my parents from Normandy, France, to Hampshire in the UK. Transporting 23 years of French life, including a vintage car restoration project, from, and to, properties with tricky access was a daunting and difficult task for us to imagine, but absolutely no problem for these guys. Including 60 days free storage was a bonus as it gave us time to get things sorted UK side before taking delivery of everything.
Andy was brilliant from start to finish, advising on the process and dealing with all the admin, paperwork and logistics. His excellent communication and invaluable advice at all stages was very much appreciated and it was great to have him on the ground at the French end too.
Special mention for Danny, Adam and Tyler too, who were outstanding. They worked so hard, always with a smile. They were charming and helpful - nothing too much trouble for them – thank you!
The team at Watson European have gone above and beyond to provide an exceptional service and way beyond what we were expecting. They delivered the highest levels of professionalism, dedication, empathy and care for us and our belongings and all for a very reasonable price. We would not hesitate to choose them again and recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a removal company to move to, or back from, Europe.
Thanks so much to all the team from all the Dodsworth family!

We highly recommend Andy and the Watson team. From our initial contact right through to delivery, we were proactively kept informed.

Andy's knowledge of the customs both in France and UK was invaluable.  This also involved assistance with the mandatory documentation all of which was included within their price.  The pick up in France was seamless.  Danny and Jack were communicative, friendly and helpful, they were also very swift and careful with loading and unloading.  We cannot fault their professionalism and would recommend you contact them to discuss your move, wherever that may be.  They also offer 2 months free storage in the UK if a delayed delivery is required.  Thank you!

Moved from Switzerland to UK this summer. Brilliant team, highly recommend, great communication throughout, did the job with efficiency and humour, competitive prices compared to others, transparency with no hidden cost's. Thanks guys, from family Ford.

Excellent service. The team cleared my French house in 5 hours, everything impeccably packed. And very cheerfully done too. They made the pain of leaving so much easier. The unpacking caused great admiration in Troon where we now live. Everybody was full of admiration for the two lads. They made the whole trauma (unpacking) so much easier. Thank you Dan and Tyler. With 2 months free storage the cost of the removal was very reasonable and I can hand on heart recommend this firm. Andy was always there to answer my anxious questions and worked hard to get our furniture etc to our new home asap. Many thanks to all concerned. Top job!

Excellent service at a very competitive price. France to storage and then onward to Scotland. First 6/8weeks storage free, thereater very well priced. The teams I dealt with were quick, efficient and well mannered. I couldn't fault this company. Well done.

Excellent service both from France and subsequently to our new home in UK. Arrived when promised. Very courteous and friendly removal men for whom nothing was too much trouble.

Fantastic work done by the two gents, they were early and ready to roll in Amesbury this morning.

Fast, efficient and incredibly polite, exactly what you would want from a moving company. More than happy to look for odd files as well that were here and there.

Highly recommend!

I sold my house in France and was moving back to the UK. Friends recommended Watson European to me. From the moment I contacted them and spoke to Andy I knew they were who I wanted to trust with my belongings and being a family run business was even better. Nothing was too much trouble and I was always able to contact them.
Danny and Louie the removal guys were very helpful and professional in their approach to making my move less stressful both in France and the UK.
I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

I was selling my late mother house in France & had to ship a fair bit of furniture & china back to the UK. Watson was recommended by our estate agent in France. First class service from communication to packing & delivering. Two cheerful & extremely efficient young men handled all that stuff in France & at the other end. We could not be more pleased & certainly would recommend Watson to anyone who asks.

Easy contact, good price, efficient and helpful removal men - managed challenging locations.

From the start they were great. They dealt with customs for us. They were excellent when picking up the furniture and with 2 months free storage that gave us the time to wait for our house to be completed. When the furniture came the men again were excellent. Andy was always on the end of the phone for communication. They were an excellent price compared with others that I looked at so overall they were the best.

Following recommendations from friends in France who'd used Watsons for their removals, we got in touch with them for our whole house/garden removal from London to France. From the first phone call a few months ago, through to delivery in France this morning - they were a brilliant team. They were efficient and skilful at packing and unpacking, both done in about two hours - all at a reasonable price with a great sense of humour. We would highly recommend.

Fantastic service, we have used Watsons several times over the years and have always had fantastic service. careful, considerate and always kept informed for pick up and delivery.
Price does not come into it when you get a service as good as this.

From our first contact to final delivery of our goods to our new home in Branston the team at Watsons have been excellent. TOR completed quickly and efficiently. Collection of goods from our house in France was completed in quickly without fuss. Access to our goods in storage at North Hykeham was easily accommodated. All round a very pleasant team to deal with throughout the process they helped reduce the stress to a minimum. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for your move.

We relocated with Watson European Removals from the UK to South West France and found them to be very good on both sides of the Channel. Communication with Andy and Amy was excellent and Andy's logistical skills were impressive. They are a smaller business and proved to be very flexible on dates and always contactable. Dave, Tyler and Kevin worked very well together as a highly efficient team and were also pleasant to deal with. We would be pleased to use them again and we have already recommended them.

Excellent communication from start to finish. Watsons took away so much of the stress during our move from France to UK, incliding dealing with the TOR documentation for Customs. Great customer service, really lovely guys…we had every confidence in them throughout the whole process. Highly recommend them.

Highly recommend! Great team, communicated throughout and would only use them for any future move!
Thanks for getting us settled in France!

Exceptional communication and service, from the start of our enquiry to the re delivery of our furniture. We can only say that Watson's took the stress away from an anxious move back to the UK from France. We had excellent, reassuring help with all the paperwork putting our minds at rest. Andy is extremely helpful, approachable and available at all times. The drivers were efficient, puntual, very friendly and careful with our possessions. We have no hesitation in recommending Watson European.

Watson European have offered a faultless service from start to finish. Andy and Amy were extremely knowledgable and efficient on the paperwork required for French customs and held our hands throughout the process. Communication from Danny and his removals team was excellent. They were friendly and professional, taking great care loading the van with our furniture. The same consideration was given when they delivered to our new home in France. I'd highly recommend Watson European, they took all the stress out of our international move!

We rarely post reviews for anything, but our experience with Watson European was quite exceptional. From start to finish the entire team were professional, helpful and friendly, even when some major setbacks created additional problems for them to deal with. Without exception they made us feel valued, and went out of their way to inform and reassure us at every stage. Their quote was very competitive, and their service matched their promises. Andy was an invaluable source of information about the entire process, and was responsive to everything we asked of him, even responding to one of our panic-stricken queries from his hotel balcony in Tenerife. The teams in France and in Scotland were quite amazing, treating us with courtesy and humour, no matter how many difficulties we created for them. Unloading in Blairgowrie proved to be even more of a challenge than loading in La Sauvetat, but Dan and Danny were unfailingly cheerful. What a truly great team, and what a pleasure to deal with a company that clearly values their customers; a rare experience these days! Thank you, Watson European.
