I would never suggest this breeder/cattery to anyone. I know at least 20 people who have used her. Most of these kittens/cats are sick and multiple have died, at least 7 I am aware of. She ghosts you after pick up as well. She will not provide correct health information or a pedigree. She says it's because it have "private information". Either they aren't registers or she is lying about something. She also put new clauses in her contracts that you can't talk poorly about her or sue her. This is because she has so many upset customers. Sketchy.

11/2024 I purchased a $3500 Maine Coon kitten from NY Maine Coon Lovers and it died from some neurological disorder just 5 weeks later! The vet noted that the kitten was also underweight as other people in this post have mentioned. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS FRAUD! (1. She apparently does her own vaccines and she does not provide actual vet paperwork to support the vaccines claimed to have been given (2. She does not provide any pedigree information unless you pay extra oin the spot for breeding rights, which is not common practice and pretty shady (3. She voids any warranty on your kitten if you don't have your newly purchased kitten seen by a vet within 48 hours, which is actually against the NY State Pet Lemon Law which provides consumers with 14 days (4. She does not provide the printed consumer rights notice for the NY PET Lemon Law as required by NY State for a reason! (5. Worse case scenario and your kitten dies, she will not refund you, or even replace your kitten (6. Her contract is designed to screw you out of any refund if your kitten dies by requiring an autopsy on the kitten should it die, full blood work, and a second vet opinion - who does that! (7. The microchip apparently implanted in your kitten will not work or come up registered in any microchip database.
Above all, look at her site. How does she always have so many kittens for sale out of her Brooklyn apartment? She can't be breeding all these kittens out of a tint space herself. She is obviously purchasing the cats from overseas, hence no pedigree information. Lastly, should you consider proceeding, your own spidey senses should shoo you to run away full speed once you meet this seller in her cramped apartment building and kittens are brought to you from somewhere out of sight and you're not allowed to step foot into the breeder's home or even see the kittens parents. I should have done my research before I did business with this complete fraud!

I purchased a kitten from Lana of NY Maine Coon Lovers and experienced a lot of concerning issues. We insisted on the pedigree option (all her cats come with pedigree *option), and together we modified her contract to indicate she would provide pedigree papers when we got him fixed. For a long time after we him fixed she refused to provide his papers and for a variety of silly and irrelevant reasons. Without pedigree the breed cannot be validated, and equally important, the health guarantee is gone. She could be inbreeding (mom and son or whatever) or breeding cats with known health defects. After all the trouble, and now seeing other red flags I didn't notice before - such as many cats on the website with different birthdays; not meeting the parents; her refusal to provide papers and then registering him as a house cat instead of a purebred, has actually led me to question her honesty around newly provided documents. It took a BBB complain to get her to provide it and she has refused to transfer his TICA certificate to me. If you experience the same I suggest filing a complaint with TICA, the BBB, heck even try contacting your attorney general. You've probably been ripped off by a backyard breeder.
