Complete Fraudsters
Complete Fraudsters - somehow got hold of my bank details and have been siphoning money out of my account for the past 3 years under the guise of "admiral insurance" totaling almost £500 to date - so cross for myself for only picking this up now but let it be a warning to others!

As pointed out to you in our email...when we replied to you within 6 minutes of contacting Web-Clubs :
Although Web-Clubs have run some marketing campaigns for Admiral, I can confirm that Web-Clubs is a 100% free-of-charge email newsletter service only. As a result, Web-Clubs never take payments, or have any need for processing any kind of card details so I suspect that this is unconnected.
In this particular case, we would suggest you contact Admiral directly and/or check with your bank for further details.

Suggested Approach to this Spammer!
Like others I got unsolicited cold spammed and joined to 8 of their supposed 'clubs'. No one is interested in their shite. I made a formal Subject Access Request to their privacy email address (search for an at sign within their Privacy Policy linked at the foot of their website), which means by law they have 30 days to go to the trouble of digging out all data they hold on me within their group, including phone recordings, and respond to me with that information. As others have noted, they seem to be affiliated with multiple entities within their group, so this may take quite some time and effort to respond. If lots of people make such requests they might reconsider handling people's data so irresponsibly? Reporting to ICO is also good.

Sent an email using my name (this is what is especially concerning), posing as a newsletter. I never, ever sign up for mailing lists and always make sure I have opted out of any marketing. I also never post on social media or leave my name and email address publicly viewable around the web.

Clever little email arrived in my inbox…
Clever little email arrived in my inbox today regarding a DVLA auction from a bogus motoring club group. Did a tonne of back searching and it looks to belong to Web-Clubs. I haven't signed up for anything so assumed they have bought my data from somewhere and "signed" me up to their crap. In the spam bin now and will be reporting any more that come my way. Stay spam free, my dudes!

They used my name - (MD of the company)
They sent it to the company generic email address (info@)
The email Subject was - Maserati Test Drive Confirmation (then later on it says - "is one click away")
This email got sent to 30 employees who access the catch-all info@
times are hard for all companies and we have had cuts recently - The last thing I need is for my employees to think I'm spending on new cars.
Despicable company !!!!
