They actually hit their deadlines which is hard to find in web design. The site looks professional and they made sure all the contact sure all the contact forms worked perfectly before we went live.

I feel it’s my responsibility to share my personal experience with WebDesign Lane, a company that I now strongly suspect to be part of a coordinated scam operation. My interaction involved individuals using names such as Mark Dennis, Alex Harper, and aliases like Etha Jones, among others.

What initially seemed like a legitimate web development service quickly turned into a troubling situation:

Communication became evasive and inconsistent after payment.
Deliverables were either delayed, poorly executed, or never completed.
Attempts to request refunds or accountability were met with silence or manipulation.
Upon further research, I discovered that other individuals have reported similar experiences, and it appears that these names are being used repeatedly across various fraudulent schemes.

I have submitted a report to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and encourage anyone who has had similar experiences to do the same via or the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center.

If you are approached by WebDesign Lane or any individual claiming to represent them, exercise extreme caution, avoid upfront payments, and verify their credibility thoroughly.

This is a company where you get real ripped off!
They charged me for my website and then drove me nuts selling other stuff.
The web quality was terrible and even when I asked for my files they tried to charge again for the service I had already paid and they kept delaying sending files and never they did.

THEY ARE A SCAM. They will build you a website and then Hi-Jack it! After needing more and more money they will take the site down and demand more money to go on a dedicated server and if you don't pay them, you will lose your domain. They want to charge you for additional items throughout the process and then more to transfer your site, your content to another Hosting company. DO YOUR RESEARCH!

I deeply regret hiring Web Design Lane to design and manage my company’s website. Their fraudulent practices have caused immense harm to my business, and I feel compelled to warn others.
After promising to deliver a professional website, they refused to provide admin access after payment, claiming we needed to pay an additional $920 for “migration costs.” They then escalated their demands, falsely accusing us of violating USPTO laws and demanding another $2,000. Upon contacting the USPTO directly, it was confirmed that these claims were baseless and part of their scam.
To make matters worse, they hacked our website, displaying a "CEASE AND DESIST" message, effectively sabotaging our business. We provide essential transportation services for disabled patients, and their actions left us unable to manage our ride scheduling, putting vulnerable individuals at risk.
It is clear from our interactions that the names they use (e.g., "Mark Dennis," "Susan Graver") are fake, and their representatives speak with South Asian accents, suggesting the company may not even exist at the listed U.S. address. This is likely an offshore scam operation posing as a legitimate web design agency.

Reading other reviews here, I realize this is a pattern for Web Design Lane: false promises, extortion, and sabotage. Their so-called services are designed to trap you into paying more at every step.
Please avoid this company at all costs. It is not worth the risk, time, or money. Web Design Lane is a fraudulent enterprise preying on unsuspecting businesses.

I only gave this company a star because I had to in order to leave a review! Do not invest in this company they do not finish the projects. I paid for a landing page, email and designe. The website and the email don't work property weeks after being "completed." When I try to get the issue resolved all I get is the run around. It's a never-ending story with this company and their false advertising.

Working with them was a journey itself. I gave Jeff a simple vision of my website, Jeff followed my notes and dream of how I want it to be and did.
