I was offered $18,700 for my 4Runner over the phone and I gave the VIN prior to pickup. Upon inspection of the vehicle the representative said he ran the VIN and it came back as being owned in Canada by the previous owner and he could only offer $15,200. I said no way. I was a victim of a “bait and switch” tactic because the VIN was given the week prior. Then he came back with a higher offer at $17,200 which I agreed to just get it out of my driveway. Then, after all the paperwork was signed he took the keys and locked them to a lockbox on the front passenger wheel. No problem at this point. The next day the vehicle is still in my driveway so I call to find out when it would be picked up. The representative on the phone said it takes 3-7 days. I told him that was never discussed with me. According to him it was stated in the initial phone conversation prior to scheduling the in person inspection at my home. I do not recall that ever being discussed. So I expressed my concern about it being in my driveway for so long without being able to be moved. He cut me off, interrupted several times rudely which I reacted to by interrupting him back trying to get a date which it’ll be picked up. He kept repeating “I don’t want to do this” over and over like a broken record. Completely unacceptable and obviously an ignorant response to the situation. Long story short, I texted the original representative and threatened to have the vehicle towed. He offered pickup by Friday (today is Tuesday) and I said no to that. He then agreed to pickup the vehicle himself tonight. It is 6:45pm and nobody has shown up to remove the vehicle. It will be towed in the morning if it isn’t removed by then.

This was our second experience with We buy any cars and it did not disappoint us. Craig Bernabei is an exceptionally personable, thorough, honest and fair associate. He made the selling process actually a pleasant one. We received a quote on line and after inspection of our car, he stuck with that quote. I will work with We Buy Any Cars again if the need arises.

Highest price. Personal service with live on phone persons not "AI". Easy inspection at the local Port St Lucie Office. NO bait & switch here. NO used car salesmen. (what a relief) The price was the price. Craig, the office manager, was extremely professional and helped us every step of the way. I was so impressed with his service that I gave "We Buy Any Car" pens to my local Wells Fargo Bank along with my praise. What better place to market for a company that exceeds all expectations? Job well done.

I have never experienced this level of disregard for a customer’s time and schedule. I was scheduled to have my car inspected at my home as part of the process of selling my vehicle. Unfortunately, the company stood me up twice.

The first time when the buyer Pierre Arzuman called I was understanding and willing to reschedule. However, the second experience was completely unacceptable. I waited through an entire four-hour appointment window, only to receive a call right before the end of the scheduled window telling me that they were “backed up” and would need to reschedule AGAIN.

What makes this even more frustrating is that I had already explained that I needed the inspection to take place on the scheduled day because of my own schedule. Despite knowing this, there was absolutely no flexibility, consideration, or effort to accommodate my situation.

So I essentially lost two days of my time sitting around waiting for a company that never showed up. If something comes up and you know you are going to miss an appointment, common courtesy would be to notify the customer as early as possible—not wait until the very end of a four-hour window.

Selling a car should not be this difficult. The complete lack of consideration for my time, the repeated rescheduling, and the poor communication were incredibly frustrating.

The worst part wasn’t even having to reschedule—it was the complete lack of respect for my time. There are plenty of companies competing for customers, and customer service like this is exactly why I would not recommend doing business with this company.

I got a good deal on my car. The manager that helped me was very nice, thorough, knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend we buy any car.

The Manager was great, explained how the process worked, answered all my questions, and put up with me being somewhat leery of the process. Received the price I wanted and the whole process was about an hour. The Manager is very forthcoming and makes sure the client understands the process. His type is very rare to find in the car business. As a woman I appreciate that he treated me as an equal.
