The initial phone call should…
The initial phone call should communicate the price range, rather than a single price. I was initially told $515 over the phone and I completely expected that offer to be lowered once my car was “inspected” on site; however, I was shocked when my actual offer was $101. Ultimately we settled on $300, which was the same price I would have received if I took this car to the scrap yard. If I was i initially told over the phone that the range was $100-$515, I would have just taken the car to the scrap yard and saved everyone’s time.

Disappointed
My appointment was pushed back twice and no one called to explain. When I arrived the inspector said online estimate did not factor in some minor issues and the final offer dropped a hundred dollars. Communication was poor and I had to chase down payment. Not terrible if you are in a hurry but frustrating if you need a smooth transaction

Antwoord van We Buy Any Car® USA - York, PA
Update 11/17/2025 - Hi Eddie. We reached out to you a few days ago to get some more information so we could follow up on your complaint but have not heard back from you. Your name did not bring back any records in our system so we suspect you may have had a negative experience with a less-reputable business and would love to help clear this up. Please reach out to our Customer Experience Team at customerfeedback@webuyanycarusa.com with more details so we can address your concerns.
------------------------------
Hi Eddie,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We were very concerned to read your comments regarding communication and payment. At webuyanycar.com, we pride ourselves on delivering a smooth, transparent, and professional experience. We pay our customers immediately at the time of sale—whether by check, ACH, wire, or Zelle—so there should never be a situation where someone is “chasing down payment.” That’s simply not how we do business.
We’ve thoroughly reviewed our systems for our York location and cannot locate any customer record under the name “Mayhew.” This, combined with the fact that the payment experience you described is not how our process works, makes us believe there may be a misunderstanding and you may have done business with a different company. If not, we will be happy to address your concerns.
If you believe this review relates to a transaction with webuyanycar.com, we’d appreciate it if you could reach out to our Customer Experience Team at customerfeedback@webuyanycarusa.com with more details—such as the name the appointment was booked under or the vehicle information—so we can investigate and respond directly.
Best regards,
Jeremy, on behalf of webuyanycar.com
