Avoid! Ultra low technical and customer support levels. Broken items with tag "Used". They tried to steal money for my 3 different orders through eBay.
I bought a laptop and 2 lots MB+CPU+RAM 2*8Gb by 3 orders. All orders came with wrong, broken stuff.
The laptop had a screen with 4 big broken zones and broken touchpad (right, left clicks work badly).
One CPU from another order had broken builtin video card, non pair RAM sticks, etc.
I tried to resolve 3 orders by a partial refund, but the seller didn't want to cooperate and didn't understand or didn't want to resolve simple technical issues.
I needed to send all my 3 orders back and when the seller received the first 2 boxes they didn't say anything that they had something missing.
But when the seller received the last 3rd box they wrote that RAM is missing.
I asked which one, from which order, because I had photos of packing for all my 3 orders, but the seller refused to cooperate in a rude way.
Didn't refind £45.25 for fake reasons for all 3 orders.
They stole £25 from one order with a fake reason "£23 for the missing Ram and £2 for the missing IO plates (back plate for the board)" and added the same fake reason "£23 for the missing Ram and £2 for the missing IO plates (back plate for the board)"
but stole only £11.25, so it clearly show that they steal buyers money for fake reasons because I added RAM for both orders and I don't trust that
they didn't find it and didn't say it in time when they received first box and only added it much later, when they received the last 3rd box.
Also, they just copied the same fake reason for different orders and amount of stealing money (Wrote 23+2, but stole 25 and 11.5).
I think they just take computer stuff from people for free or with low payment and after just sell it without any checking for double or triple price, making buyers beta tester of their stuff for free and
also try to steal buyers money, don't refund their purchasing.

Health and Safety is shocking here

Initially contacted 27th of September.
30th September was assured they were working on routes and would contact as soon as they can.
10th October asked for an update and was told 2 weeks.
14th of October I mentioned that Reviews said they could be difficult to get certificates of destruction from and was assured by Lisa Goulden, Admin manager that "If the certificates are urgent we do mark the items up “URGENT” and we push them through as fast as we can. If you are sending the items to us, once they arrive I’ll make sure they get started straight away and get them emailed to you"
31st of October, we get told they will collect 18th November.
They collected 18th of November. we are now a Month down the line and I have seen no certificates of Destruction.
Edited: About 40 minutes after I posted this review I got the certificates of Destruction that I had asked for in an email.

They collected multiple laptops and desktops, along with some old printers for our studio and sent us data certificates a few weeks after the collection. I'd highly recommend these people for your business, even from a personal level for electrical equipment from your house.

Extremely good charity for donating you old laptops, I didn’t read the website and called them to book a collect. The chap on the phone explained that collection can only be booked online through their website. Once I filled out the online form they contact be a day later to explain they are arrange for a van to be in my area and they like to collect from multiple please on the same day in the same area. I was willing to wait. After a couple of weeks I got an email saying there is a van in my area on Thursday and if I was in for the collection. I phoned up to confirm and got told to confirm by email so there is a paper trail. Which I understood. I then got an email on Wednesday with an ETA, driver turned up and took my laptops. I got a certificate by email there and then. The data certificate took nearly two weeks. Would highly recommend this charity. Best part of it. The service was free. So I was willing to wait. Hope this helps.

It's now 1 month after I initially contacted them. They first replied that they'll get back, but after that all my emails were just ignored. Will have to dispose of the hardware elsewhere.

Brilliant idea for a charity but the admin competence just isn't there. Initially had to do a lot of calling and emailing just to get a collection date. Local roadworks meant van didn't get to mine but had to chase to find out what had happened. Didn't seem to have my phone number even though I'd already given it. Promised a call or email to reschedule weeks ago - nothing. A shame, as it's a great idea, they just can't execute it properly.

Sent 3 mobiles to them by courier. Included their data destruction form with my email address. Haven't heard a word from them. Emailed them. No response at all.

No Response to email, No offer of collection times, Very rude on the phone

I was dealing with the estate of a family member who had a lot of electrical items to dispose of. They had every iteration of various electrical items and had enjoyed tinkering with computers for a long time, so I ended up with a very large collection of computers and components to dispose of. I wasn't sure what personal information might have been saved on any of it, so to respect their privacy I wanted to ensure everything was disposed of properly. I was glad to find this company as they could do exactly what I needed.
I sent a small box of hard drives on two separate occasions and each time it was incredibly difficult to get confirmation that my items had been disposed of. I was very patient since they’re a charity, but it took multiple emails over the course of a few months to get a response.
After this, I sent a box of old laptops which I thought they might be able to make use of. I waited more than a month before I emailed, just asking for confirmation that my items were being dealt with, but never received a response. Over the following months, I contacted them again multiple times trying to get some confirmation that my laptops had been securely disposed of or recycled, but was never able to get a response and gave up eventually.
I have more things I need to recycle but I’m trying to find somewhere else to do it now. If you have items to dispose of and you actually care about receiving piece of mind that they’ve been dealt with securely and responsibly, I’d advise against sending anything here.

We had occasion to use WeeeCharity to help recycle some desktops from an old storeroom we were looking to return to a usable office.

Many of the desktops where old and taking space and we needed a way to dispose of them ethically and in a way that was environmentally safe.

I contacted their collections department and made arrangements for them to pick up our donation. They have been excellent. They also provide means of clearing hard drives and cataloguing the results for return.

More companies need to use the services of Weee Charity. They also train people who have been out of work in IT skills with the processes they use to recycle the machines they receive.

This is an excellent company with a wonderful initiative that helps people get back to useful work while saving the environment. I have no hesitation in recommending their excellent service.

I first offered my computer quite a while back. I got a reply stating that they would be pleased to accept but collection may take some time.
I was then contacted offering me a choice of collection dates.
Updated a few days ago and a reminder yesterday with a nice narrow pick up window which was kept to. Very polite gentleman collected a short time ago.
Would definitely recommend.

I was surprised to read the one existing review about WEEE, because my experience has been a total contrast. My email was acknowledged. Because of the pandemic, they are working with fewer drivers but they are prepared to collect if you're prepared to wait until they're in the area (or you can mail the item). I was given a date and even an approximate time, and the collection van arrived when they said it would. The young man who came to the door was Courtesy Personified and said the charity was very grateful for the donation. WEEE is recommended by Which? and they use the donations responsibly for the good of others. If I had another laptop to spare (!), I wouldn't hesitate to donate to them again. Full marks.

I filled in this charity's web site form offering to donate several items of computer, and other electronic, equipment.

I received no response so 2 weeks later I e-mailed them asking them to tell me if they wanted the items or not, and said that I could keep the items for them if they did want them, but not straight away. I received a read receipt for the e-mail the day after I sent it, but, another 2 weeks later, I have still not received a reply to it.

I won't be wasting my time offering this organisation donations again.
