With WG’s effort, my EB1A application has been denied after rfe, here is my experience:
Briefly, the attorneys acted very unprofessional on my RFE preparation that directly led to the denial of my case. Here are the details:
1. VERY low-quality recommendation letter and testimony letter. Two testimony letters are almost empty, and the only written part was filled with grammar mistakes and hard to understand. The recommendation letter was awkward too, not readable at all. Therefore, I had to rewrite these documents again myself.
2. Low-quality RFE response letter. The clinical implementation part is almost unreadable, and I had to reorganize it myself. The attorney used citation impact and research productivity to demonstrate the major significance, which was already questioned by the RFE. I know this could be template, but it seems not useful for the approval at all. Also, the final merit was prepared very carelessly, I had to rewrite that part myself too.
3. Communication issue and response turnaround time. These attorneys NEVER response to my questions or give me updates on time. Just an example, I sent my updated response letter on July 19th, but they did not reply to me at all on Monday July 20th, then on July 21st he said he would send me revised response letter in 1-3 business days. However, I have to follow up multiple times on July 24th, 25th, but received no response at all. On July 26th, finally, they replied to me. I don't know why they acted like this, but communicating with them is totally suffering and not happy at all. Again, they passed the deadline again on July 31st. They did not care about my case at all, and they are definitely the worst attorneys I have been working with.
4. Late package assembly. I was asked to organize the exhibits myself just one day before shipping out the RFE response. How ridiculous! Shouldn't the attorney already work on the exhibit assembly before? I already sent you the exhibits.
Taken together, this Eb1A RFE experience is horrible and very unpleasant, mainly because of the careless attitude of the attorneys. Therefore, there is no surprise that my case was rejected. These are just several examples, if you are interested in more details, you are welcomed to reach out. Previously I recommend WG to my friends and colleagues because of my NIW experience, but now I have to reconsider based on my EB1A experience.
