I have been extremely unimpressed with my most recent experience here. I ordered a rocking chair in store over a week ago, and was told I would be receiving an email with a tracking number as it would arrive “curb side” in 5-10 days. I did not receive this email and have now had to call the store TWICE to follow up. The first time, I had to ask them to follow up with the chair company as their only response to me was “we don’t have an email from them either.” The second time, I had to call them again (they did not call me) and after putting me on hold, advised me that they had sent an email to the company on the weekend and hadn’t heard back. At this point I frustratingly told them that I would like my money back, since they were not offering to do anything about the situation. The person on the phone spoke to the manager and told me they would call me back the next day (today) about compensation. As of closing time today I still didn’t receive a call and am getting very tired of asking them to do their job. I will be calling tomorrow and demanding a refund, this is beyond unacceptable for a $1000 chair including the $100 extra I spent for supposed quicker service and delivery. Never again!

I cannot rave enough about this store - so here goes my second review- I just did my registry buy out and couldn’t have been happier for the help I have received - this was the first store I came into with my mom when we found out I was pregnant and a lady name Maylynne helped us - she was so nice and patient knowing how excited we were but had no clue about any baby stuff - since then I have been coming to this store based on the treatment and customer care I get every time I come in. From Maylynne who’s always willing to help , to Rachel the story manager she can Answer any question- to Stephanie and Christina at the check out counter- to even their stock staff in the back , you will always have a helpful hand. I see people said this place is expensive - and yes , bc they do carry top brands however if you follow them on Instagram or sign up for their emails they literally have a sale everyday on the top brand items , so If you’re ok with gradually stocking up like me - you will save lots . The store is busy yes ! But don’t be afraid to ask the staff for help , they are usually answering a bunch of questions at once but if you approach any one that’s on the floor you will get the help you need ... I also have seen people complain about the long line up at cash , pls don’t forget majority of the people shopping are also asking last min questions at check out and this being an exciting time for the people shopping the ladies at check out are doing their best to get you out quickly while answering your last min questions .. thanks WCK on main you rock !!!

What I do love about WCK is that the product offering is unique and high quality items. The customer service department is also very responsive. What I do not like is that it takes far too long for the goods to get picked/packed at the warehouse, delaying the whole shipment. As an example, an order that was placed on Aug. 29th still hasn’t been received and it’s Sept. 8th. It took over 5 business days to confirm that the goods are shipped which is far behind other competitor stores.

I have shopped with west coast kids so much but their customer services, item availability and return policy drives me nuts. I don’t think it’s fair to their clients to not give them more flexibility. We are shopping for kids, kids are unpredictable, sometimes sizes doesn’t fits and many other reasons. I probably will stop spending my money with this store. I’m very disappointed

Love WCK. They choose to carry the best products, which makes shopping easier for me. One-stop for everything. They are definitely Quality rather than quantity! Thanks for always taking your customer service so seriously as well, it’s an important part of the experience.

They truly have the best knowledge and selection. I love going to west coast for my babies’ needs

West Coast Kids has a great selection of quality products, fast shipping and excellent costumer service!

The products at west coast kids are great. Unfortunately, the staff are not great. I’ve shopped at the Vancouver location many times and have never been able to get a clear answer from the staff or the help I’ve required. It’s a shame as the store is beautiful and offers quality products.

I’m so sad because I really want to be able to give friends the good review, however after spending over $10,000 at this store, I’ve realized the customer service is quite poor. Whether it’s clothing that has been defective, toys that I received in the mail that were broken when they arrived, dressers that have drawers that don’t close properly from day 1 and deliveries handled by 3rd company parties gone horribly wrong I’ve never had a good experience with customer service and for that reason sadly I only buy things here I need quickly and can’t get elsewhere (as I can drive to the store) or to use gift cards. The staff are so friendly and so badly want to help you buy stuff, but they just don’t back it with quality customer service. :( so sad.

I love Westcoast Kids! It’s my favourite and first choice for all things kid-related.

Stores are always clean, and well maintained. Everything in the store is so beautiful and the sales associates are very helpful for the most part.

Love the product options, but shipping - particularly order processing time - is long, and the multi-step return procedure is cumbersome and time-intensive. Would love to support a Western Canadian company but generally prefer to purchase from companies that provide a better customer experience.

West coast kids in Calgary is OK.The staff is hit and miss. The store benefits from being almost the only baby store in Calgary, if they had any real competition they might have to really focus on customer service.

Generally pretty good but not the best return policy, especially for unopened items off of a registry.

When paying for extra fast shipping to have it for vacation and it says invoicing for 3 days and you product does not arrive on time. But will regular shipping the next time it comes faster then paying extra to have it in 1-3 days

West Coast Kids has amazing products - I absolutely love the quality that they carry. But the customer service is HORRIBLE.

In store I’ve been ignored while heavily pregnant - spent at minimum 30 minutes waiting for an employee to ask a question. I was repeatedly told by people on the floor that they would get someone to help me but never did.

On the phone, the sales person was rude when all I wanted was to ask a question about a sale before driving over an hour to get to a store.

Tidy and bright store. Fully stocked. Always several girls able to help you find things
