First time taking children age 10 and 14 to see Dentist Anchal Ohri at Westcountry Dental Practice in Barnstaple. Paige was the Dental Nurse in appointment today. Excellent experience. Efficient but relaxed, approachable/friendly and informative. Would like to say heart felt Thank you to them because I am from Barnstaple and moved away for ten years and moved back to the area around 7 years ago and since moving back I have been desperately trying to get children registered with an NHS dentist and been on several waiting lists for years. Most dentists don't even have a waiting list anymore or accept children onto NHS dental arrangements. This has been really stressful over the years. I took them to a private Dentist last year and was told they needed fillings up to the cost of nearly 750 pounds (holes were in baby teeth that have since naturally fallen out and been replaced with adult teeth so there was really no need to have them filled anyway). I also didn't have 700 pounds to hand so didn't go ahead with original fillings privately. Managed to get in with Westcountry and I want to say I was really impressed and thankful for the service we had today on first check up appointment. Anchul was professional and warm, greeted us in waiting room and also made my children feel relaxed. Anchul filled my teenagers back tooth there and then with no stress, no pain and no need to re-book an appointment a week later to get it done. The stress and guilt of not being able to find my children decent dental care has been a weight on my shoulders that has now been lifted and I can't explain to Anchul how much I appreciate the work she has done today. Thank you also to Paige who again echoed the relaxed, professional, efficient and friendly approach of Anchul also. Thank you so much. Kelly.
