Possibly one of the weirdest and most unpleasant/unsatisfying retail experiences ever…and I’ve lived in north and south of the UK & in the USA.
Don’t be fooled by the dog bowl…this is not a dog-friendly store…it’s barely a customer friendly store ! After a fairly long drive (1.5 hrs) we arrived with plenty to spend to a locked door advising us to ring the bell…there was no one else outside…the very first thing the assistant did upon unlocking the door was to point to our 2 dogs and declare - they can’t come in !! I pointed to the water bowl which seemed to indicate a dog-friendly owner…silly me !! We accepted that & I ventured in alone & was locked in..leaving my partner outside. There was so much stock so tightly packed on rails it was almost impossible to look at anything properly. There were no other customers inside - making the bell/locked door system for crowd control totally redundant & frankly laughable yet I was offered no welcome, assistance or advice whatsoever.
We gave up - having been made to feel so utterly unwelcome..seriously don’t bother with this place they haven’t got a clue about merchandising or customer service !! So disappointing & a total waste of our day…

I am an artist painting cityscapes in Aberdeen and was looking for a wide-brimmed hat to shield my eyes from the sun. I contacted Wild Wild Western Wear and bought a hat, but the size turned out to be too small, and it simply wouldn't stay on my head. The company accepted the return, and I asked for help selecting the right size. I received several emails to clarify the fit and was impressed by the team's patience. Ultimately, I purchased the Bullhide Shotgun; the hat looks magnificent, fits perfectly, and protects my eyes from the sun. I am very grateful to the consultants for their help and patience! If I need anything else in the future, I will definitely turn to this company again.

OUTRAGEOUS!

Tried to return a belt that I looked at for no more than 20 seconds before realising it was too small (because of their stupid sizings) and placed back in its original box. When they received it back they claimed I damaged it and wouldn't refund me, even though the damage was clearly from long term use, meaning they'd sent me a second hand belt in the first place and I'd failed to notice!!

So now I'm stuck with a damaged belt that is too small and a fiery hatred of this pathetic excuse for a company.

Don't make the same mistake as me. Check your online orders thoroughly before returning and STEER CLEAR of this terrible company.

Bought an item which was clearly given the details on the website.
What I got was a very different size.
Contact the shop for help and they were very unhelpful.

I did not have a good experience and agree with reviewers who have flagged negative or difficult experiences.

I will make sure as a customer of 10 years to this shop I will now never return their,
I purchased a pair of jeans they were so small I couldn’t wear them I went on holiday so I was 2 days over the 14 day return, I didn’t even want a refund I was happy with another item that would fit me she told me their was no way she didn’t have to do anything
She actually said to me that by law any item is sold as seen and it’s lucky she offers 14day return
My item was brand new with tags on
Me being a owner of a business myself I would never treat any of my customers with lack of respect how she was with me very very rude and totally unprofessional

Ordered boots but in wrong size. Messaged and they replied very quickly however I was too late to pull it from delivery
Received my boots and they fit perfectly so I was right in ordering after all. (Sized up am a 5 I got a 6.5 they are perfect)

Great shop with fantastic helpful staff. We bought boots and belts. We got great advice on the boots and staff were very clearly enjoying serving customers and making it a great experience. A great selection of items and well worth a visit. If you need advice guidance on anything all staff are willing to help.
We went on a day with lots of customers and the staff managed to make sure everyone was looked after and served.
Be prepared to wait outside on a busy day BUT remember the team there ensure you get a great experience and you get what you need. So if you have to wait a little you won’t be disappointed .

Helpful patient staff and quality western wear. Hard to see how anyone could give a bad review. The shop does get very busy, so be patient

Recently I made a couple of enquiries with this retailer re a belt i'd being attempting to find at right price in UK. In america it is $37 about £29 but shipping adds another £60 so finding it here at around £45 i thought good value but it was the wrong size. I checked with them the fittings construction and seemingly as press studs, i considered it would be.I bought and altered to smaller size all successful, so very pleased. Speedy delivery, well packed and signature required, all reasonably priced. Well done.

A very disappointing experience this morning. Busy shop, two out of three assistants fawning over one customer. We felt like an inconvenience and were told we’d probably been looking at the wrong website when couldn’t see what we were looking for. Left without parting with any cash.

Only found them because of Google advertising, amazing choice and sizes of hats and a very quick delivery

Travelled a long way for the shop when I got there, I had great service really enjoyed it thank you.

Awful customer service. On 13/9 My husband purchased a hat for me for my birthday (18/10) but when it arrived it was too big. He contacted the shop and had arranged to return the hat and they send out a smaller hat (the last one in my size). The hat they sent out was in awful condition, not new, no tags etc. so had to be sent back for a refund. My husband kept the larger hat as he didn't know what to do for my birthday.

Fast forward to today 3/10, they have all the sizes back in stock of the hat in question. I called the shop and explained I still have the hat that's too big for me, unworn, tags still on etc. can I please send it back for an exchange of a (new condition) smaller hat. The answer was no as the order my husband placed originally has now been closed by the accounts department.

So... I'm left with a hat that's too big for my birthday! If the smaller hat they had sent me wasn't in such bad condition, I wouldn't be in this situation but they don't seem to care about that, it seems their mistake is my problem!

First time using this shop aswell.

Buyers beware!

Very rude and unfriendly staff. Because I am not English doesn't mean they should treat me badly. Went there twice and was treated badly both times. I wanted to buy boots a jacket and other accessories but after two attempts I have given into thier complete lack of customer care and gone elsewhere.

J'ai commandé 4 Pointes de Col dont 3 couleurs Dorée et une couleur Argent. Pour le modèle en Argent je l'ai reçu mais couleur dorée. J'ai compris en retournant sur leur site le pourquoi. Ils n'avaient plus le modèle en Argent. J'ai essayé de négocier mais l'astuce était de faire traîner les choses afin que le délais avec Paypal pour un dossier de litige ne soit plus possible. Je m'y suis mis rapidement et le dossier a été en ma faveur. J'ai donc été remboursé par Paypal. De plus je m'attendais à des Frais de Taxes et de Douanes mais à ce point là. Pour une commande depuis la FRANCE d'un montant de 91.87€ j'ai payé 21.00€. C'est énorme. Je vous déconseille fortement de commandé sur leur site. Ils n'en n'ont que faire !!!

I ordered several items for choice. Unfortunately none of the items went with the outfit I was wearing. I returned the items as directed and within the 14 day window. The company decided to deduct £88.51 from my refund as a restocking fee. When I queried this as it’s not only ethically wrong it’s against U.K. law my money was refunded. They did however cancel my next order and I am no longer allowed to purchase from them online!

Over the past 4 months ive ordered 3 hats from them and my experience has always been solid. Even when i was accidentally sent the wrong model, it was resolved in a matter of hours, and the new one sent as soon as id provided the return tracking information. I have full confidence that ill be returning again in the future.

I purchased a pair of Laredo boots and managed to scuff them two days later. I took them in to the shop to see if they had anything they could recommend.

They took me straight down the road to the local cobblers and they polished them up on the spot. No cost to me. I couldn't have asked for better service and my boots look like new again. Thanks so much.

I was in the Wild Wild Western Wear shop a few weeks back to purchase a belt, but left with a belt, additional buckle, boots, cap, boot jack. The store is a dream to visit and your selection and stock is absolutely fantastic.

I was hoping to visit again recently but was unable to make the trip. As such I decided to have a go at the online shop. Items I never buy online are shoes and hats due to issues with size, comfort and the item in general. Anyway totally against my practise, I ordered some shoes, a cowboy hat and a trucker cap.

The items arrived and were very well packed in fact the packing was excellent even the fragile warning sticker had "Thank You" on it, nice touch.

All items were in excellent condition and the quality of all items was excellent and everything fitted very well.

I wanted to pass on my appreciation of an excellent service and a terrific selection of items. The online service was a good experience and the fact that you offer a free postal service after a certain amount is very good and greatly appreciated as some providers don't offer that.

I hope to get up to see you again soon, but congratulations on what for me is a 5 star service.
