Received an e mail saying items had been dispatched at 9.15 am on 24 hour, didn't arrive until next Sunday and carrier dmsaid dispatched at end of day

Sorry to hear this, you order was collected by Royal Mail on Monday, and the service we pay Royal Mail for was for 24 tracked delivery. I am unsure what has caused this delay but we had this on a Lorry as promised, but seems Royal Mail had a delay And had this delivered On the Wednesday instead.
I can see on the tracking that this was ordered on Sunday, Dispatched on the Monday when we were back in work, but the delay has been from Royal Mail themselves for this one for which I do apologise on their behalf.
I cannot see any messages from yourself regarding this issue so I will reach out now to resolve this. As we are a small family run business and pride ourselves on a 5 star service, so it is a shame a huge company like Royal Mail has reflected us in a bad light on this one
