Making arrangements was very easy- from choosing which chapter of Make-A-Wish I want my auto donation to go to, to scheduling the pick up of the vehicle.

My only concern is that it has been a couple months and I still haven’t received my receipt for amount of vehicle donated.

The people on the phone were very courteous, and the car was picked up when it was supposed to be. The driver of the truck was very nice and respectful. I received the note about it being auctioned off fairly soon after that.

Tow truck never showed up on the scheduled appointment. I called a day later and was told someone would get back to me. Nobody called me back, vehicle got picked up with no rescheduled time.

Easy and quick process.

I had a horrible experience donating my vehicle, including an incredibly unprofessional text message from one of the drivers that attempted to pick up my vehicle blaming me for why she was not able to pick up my car. When I worked with one of the supervisors, she stopped texting me back to confirm that she recieved my key to the car or confirmed it was picked up. I was blamed for all of the mistakes with scheduling from the call center, the unprofessionalism of one of the tow drivers, and questioned when I said I would like to have verification of the car title with a stamp to confirm that my car was donated to wheels for wishes for a good cause. I will NEVER attempt to donate anything to this charity again because of the auction company and the tow companies used, tied to this charity. I am going to write a letter to the CEOs of Car Foundation Donation so they know exactly how I was made to feel through the entire process when all I wanted to do was donate my car for a good cause. I will probably never recieve a tax donation form. I drove 2.5 hours to where my car was located and waited all day for tow truck driver to show up, even called miday to confirm they were coming to be told that they had a different day scheduled to pick up my car. Then I had to drive another hour out of my way to drop off the title in hopes that the second attempt to pick up my car would succeed. Entire process was horrifying. I have all of the text messages saved to which will be included in my letter to the CEOs.
