From the day I received a wonderful surprise birthday gift of a cask of one of my favourite malts from my wife, I can not speak highly enough about this company.
The first day my wife contacted them regarding the purchase, she explained it was to be a surprise. And although there was plenty of admin to be done by the owner, (Me).. they worked superbly to keep the surprise a surprise until my Birthday. Once the day arrived & I received a cryptic clue as to what I'd been given & then the realisation I am now the proud owner of a cask, I contacted Darren as per the instructions. From that day the after sales service has been second to none. Superbly explaining the way forward & all the options you have in the future. Helpful is an understatement.

WIUK Provide a DO which is rare as most stockists and brokers don't give you a private account via DO, only a ownership certificate but WIUK can arrange for both if desired.

Great company definitely would recommend for anybody interested in whisky investment.

This was my 3rd time buying a cask but 1st with WIUK, I mostly dealt with Darren who is really easy going, very quick in responding to questions and not pushy whatsoever, which I appreciate.

This is the second time I have purchased a whisky cask, but my first with Whisky Investment UK.
From the beginning of the process the communication from Darren and his team was exemplary and they were able to answer all of my questions thoroughly. All of the information given by the team matched completely with my due diligence and, in fact, in many areas went into far more detail.
In terms actually buying the cask Darren and his team did absolutely everything for me, therefore the process could not have been easier. Within a couple of hours I was able to buy a cask that I’ve been after for a while with all of the hard work done for me.
As mentioned, I have previously bought a cask with another company and dealt with a number of further companies while searching for my second cask, and I must say that buying through Whisky Investment UK was a far better experience, more informative and just downright friendly. As a whisky fan, I had been looking to buy a barrel for some time. After speaking with a number of companies I decided to buy an Islay whisky through whisky investment UK.

Lilly was our main point of contact, and she sent us several options to look over. We only live an hour away from their head office, so we decided to meet her in person.

I found Lilly to be very helpful and at no time was she pushy, unlike a couple of the other companies I had spoken to previously.

We also met the Office Manager Carmen who helped us with all the paperwork and dealt with the transfer of the barrel.

If you are looking to buy a barrel of whisky I would definitely recommend them for their customer service and their wide selection of whiskies.

First step into whiskey investment and could not wish for a better start. Dealing with Darren was so easy, he was informative and answered all my questions without fuss. The whole process was so easy to complete. Also thank you to Carmen who sorted out the admin side it has been a pleasure so much so we invested in our second cask.

A great experience, easy to communicate, and was very upfront with the process from the first initial phone call, everything was explained with no hidden cost or info.

Having been in Scotland on the Whisky trail, I visited Tullibardine distillery with a view of purchasing a Cask.

I was informed that they dont sell direct to the public, so started to search for an intermediary. WIUK were not only the most competitive, but the most forthright with their pricing structure. Spoke to Darren Hughes, very informative, straight talking and no hard sales push. Really impressed with the seamless purchase on 18.8.23, so much so I bought two more casks in the following days. Darren kept me informed throughout the purchases, even though he was on Annual leave on the Continent ! Top
marks from me and will be my first point of call for my inevitable future purchases.

After searching several whisky companies online, I choose to go through Whisky Investment UK as I found them very easy to deal with. Not at all pushy they was very patient as this was the first time buying a whisky barrel. Been over a month and have had several updates.
