I am extremely grateful for Justin’s guidance, professionalism, and efficiency during one of the most stressful times of my life. When I reached out to him, I was only 15 days away from sentencing, so time was critical. I was able to schedule a Zoom call with him quickly, and he took the time to answer every one of my questions with clarity, honesty, and directness.

One thing that made a huge personal impact on me was this: my attorney had consistently refused to include one of my letters in my sentencing memorandum. Hiring Justin and his team was easily the best decision I made during the most challenging chapter of my life. When you are facing a federal investigation, it feels like you're in a dark place with no way out, but this team provides a path, but it is one where you will have to do the work. Paying anyone who says they can reduce your sentence simply by paying them is a very bad idea, no ethical person or company would ever make such a claim. Justin and his team do not make that claim, what they say is that none of it may matter, you may get the same sentence with them vs if you had never heard of them. What they offer is a blueprint to build a story around how you are more than your worst decisions. I spent 3.5 years on pre-trial, with this hanging over my head, having real, actionable work and goals helped with sentencing but maybe more importantly it gave me purpose and work during this uncertain time.

Justin is a true professional. He is accessible, direct, and has been in our shoes. From our first call, he helped me shift my mindset from "surviving" to "proactive mitigation." He and Michael don't just offer "happy talk,” they are not going to tell you what you want to hear, they are going to tell you the truth and it is tough, but much more valuable.

The results speak for themselves. While the guidelines were daunting, the work I did with the team led to a significantly better outcome than even my lawyer anticipated. The judge specifically commended the "meaningful impact" of the narrative, the community service work with Prison Professors Charitable Corporation, and the character letters we prepared. The government was asking for 36-48 months. My final sentence was 2 years probation and a large fine. Better outcome than I could have dreamed of. I had a sympathetic judge to the work I had done, neither I nor Justin would say that you will always get the outcome you hope for, but I know, that regardless of what happened that I had done everything I could to mitigate and prepare, and even if the outcome was not what I wanted, I knew I had done everything I could and was at peace with that.

Beyond the legal outcomes, Justin and Michael provide a sense of community and unwavering support that saves your sanity. They treat you like a human being, not just a case number, and their compassion is genuine. They will both tell you that you do not need them, that all the knowledge, planning and process they provide can be had for free on their non-profit's website, which is all true. The knowledge was not what I feel I paid for, it was the companionship and sense that I was being guided by people who had been there before and knew the way, even if the road was a rough one.

From the beginning Justin made me feel comfortable with the process that their company has refined over time. Knowing what I was walking into was scary but Justin made me feel at peace knowing that his company would guide me in a direction that would allow me opportunities in the future that I wouldn’t have doing it on my own. The staff has treated me as a person and not just a number, even contacting me on vacation with family. I would highly recommend anyone seek their guidance.

Justin and his team were exceptional—professional, responsive, and transparent from the very beginning. I worked with them on both my sentencing narrative and pre-sentencing report, and their depth of knowledge far exceeded that of my attorney, who was billing $1,200 an hour.

The government was seeking 44 months, but I ultimately received a sentence of 12 months and one day. The judge specifically credited my narrative, which helped him understand who I am, where I come from, and the circumstances that led to my actions.

With Justin and his team’s guidance, I was able to get FSA and serve just seven months of my sentence. Throughout the entire process, Justin was always just a text away—accessible, supportive, and fully committed.

What started as me doomscrolling his TikTok’s for any bits of information on the federal process, to on the other side of prison rebuilding my life, I can’t recommend them highly enough.

My experience was great. I did not retain the team because I simply did not have funds. But I have watched all the videos and I can honestly say, these people know what they are talking about. You truly have to advocate for yourself and prove to the stake holders you are worthy of a shorter sentence. It cannot be done with happy talk, you have to WORK. When I found out I was under investigation I was immediately worried. My daughter was not even one years old yet and I’m already struggling as is and now I’m facing jail time. It felt like being in a dark place, and no one was coming to save you. It took me one week to gather myself together and after I started to search for answers. Thats when I found Justin and his team on YouTube. I’ve watch there interview with The Honorable judge Bennett. That interview gave me prospective and I immediately started to plan. This was in August 2021. I knew I had to work, I had to show the stake holders I was becoming a law biding citizen, not just a name on a piece of paper that hit their desk. I started to do community service where I logged 530 hours. I got promoted at my job. I got employee of the month. I was showing them I was moving further away from my conduct. I had a successful and honest psr and got great character reference letters. March 2026 was my sentence and it took almost 5 years. I’ve worked at everything for 5 years straight with no breaks. When going into sentencing I felt relief, because I knew I have done everything I possibly could without a doubt. I was at peace to whatever the outcome was. On the day of my sentencing the judge commended me for my hard work. I was facing 21-27 month of imprisonment. The judge sentenced me to 90 days home confinement and 2 years probation. I was so happy because the judge saw a human being who made a mistake and was extremely remorseful. I was trying to make victims whole again and most importantly, I started early on and not wait till the last minute. So thank you for your team on guiding me through this.

I just got out of federal prison. I utilized all your tools and resources before I got sentenced and it was the best thing I could do for myself. It not only helped me get a better sentencing outcome, but it also prepared me mentally for the road ahead. I was able to be productive and plan for a better future while I was incarcerated. Justin and his team has given me and so many a sense of community to learn, share, seek guidance from and give back to. I had about 10 days til I had to surrender to the bop and I reached out to Justin and his team about helping with my release plan and planning while I was at the facility. Hello Justin, I want to thank you Michael , Brad, and everybody at White collar and prison professors. I’m still taking it in because I never thought this could happen but you told me back in September that I could possibly get probation and I didn’t believe it because my lawyer said I was going to jail, but I did what you said I did the work, and it all paid off in the end. My lawyer was very surprised with all
The work I put in. The probationary officer was surprised that my narrative was so good (Brad helped me with) and before the PSR, I filled out all the information that I downloaded offline. The judge complemented me on everything I was doing, including my volunteer work, my cooperation, and my pleasant demeanor and my character letters ( I turned in 13 but that’s because 3 of my kids wrote one each which the judge commented on, you have to read them. They did an amazing job.). Even the prosecution, which I was shocked, asked for the guideline sentence but then said Mr. Gibson is not a threat or we don’t think that he’s going to reoffend so we do agree with the guideline sentence but we also think a lesser sentence might be warranted so everything lined up. Everything went well, I want to thank you again because without your help and your knowledge, I will not be here. I did everything you said, I’ve been on every webinar And I have a site on prison professors. I took tax classes. I did everything I could do and they seen the type of person I was and not for the crime that I committed. I just wanna thank you again because I was facing 12 to 18 months after my plea for 1 count aiding and abetting preparation of false tax returns and the judge only gave me 2 years of probation. You were the person that actually told me that I can change the outcome and it worked that so thank you..

The feds raided me in 2023 and my lawyer Diane Bass told me to call White Collar Advice. On my first call with Justin he asked me, “what is success for you?” I told him I have a wife and five kids and I wanted to use this time the right way and do everything I could to get the best outcome. He asked, “how do you do that?” I said I wasn’t sure, that’s why Diane told me to call. He said, “you create something that doesn’t exist. An asset, a story, something to build on. The government is creating, so should you. There’s no other way to change how they see you.”
So I did. I built my life story and timeline, a release plan, more than 100 hours of volunteer work, and I wrote my book Recalibrate. I got involved with their nonprofit because I wanted to help people in prison and back the policy work they’re doing. At home my wife and kids could see I was working, not just sitting around waiting. I also started sharing my story on Instagram and people reach out to me there all the time.
Probation wanted 36 months. Judge Holcomb gave me a year and a day and he discussed my volunteer work with Prison Professors and speaking at USC Business School with Justin. Even if I had gotten the 36, the last couple years have been fulfilling and productive through a tough situation. The sooner you get prepared for life after prison the better. The team helped me use my time the right way.
One more thing. After sentencing these prison consultants started calling, telling me they could do this or that. Former BOP staff too. They all claimed to do things they never actually did. Do your due diligence. Confirm people can really help you and that they’ve done it before. The right team makes a big difference. I am so thankful to this team I have referred them to at least 10 people who found me on Instagram. I don’t take a penny. I just want others to get the same help I did.

When I reached out to White Collar Advice, I was a terrified, anxious, nervous wreck because I had just accepted a plea agreement with the DOJ. I engaged the team to help craft a personal narrative and letters of recommendation. My lawyer said "that's what I do" and seemed a little bit against the idea, but I pushed and engaged the team. After reviewing the work provided by Justin and his team and the sentence imposed by the Judge, my lawyer felt the work was high quality and "made a meaningful impact on the Judge and his decision" and "was some of the most impactful and personal letters I have seen in my career". At the conclusion of my journey, I received a very positive outcome.
