Our recent trip to the Masai Mara, Serengeti and Amboseli, in November 2023 in Kenya and Tanzania was an unforgettable experience, largely thanks to our exceptional safari guide Joseph Mwangi from White Plains Safaris. From the moment we met Joseph at the Hotel in Nairobi, our guide's expertise and passion for wildlife and the environment shone through.
His keen eye and expert tracking skills led us to incredible wildlife sightings, including the Big Five, and his passion for conservation and the preservation of Kenya's natural beauty was truly inspiring. Joseph's warm and friendly personality made our journey even more enjoyable, as he shared captivating stories about the animals and local culture. His attention to detail and dedication to ensuring our safety and comfort throughout the trip were commendable.
Joseph played a pivotal role in making our trip to the Masai Mara and Amboseli National Park an extraordinary and educational experience. He is extremely pleasant, very competent, and reliable.
We couldn't have asked for a better guide to accompany us on this remarkable journey. In fact, we liked him so much that after spending another 12 days in South Africa and Zimbabwe on a second safari, we came back to Nairobi and hired him again for a one-day safari to the Nairobi National Park.

White Plains Safari were really easy people to get to know, they were friendly, polite and really outgoing, whilst always doing their best to attend to everyone in their care. They helped make my first camping experience, my first trip to Kenya and my first safari experiences that will last a lifetime.

We had a 13 day trip across multiple national parks with 6 days camping in between. WPS where incredible hosts, very knowledgeable, kind and enthusiastic. I felt incredibly safe and got to experience so much in such a short amount of time. I have 100s of photos from all the different animals we saw. This was honestly a once in a lifetime experience and I couldn't rate WPS highly enough. Thank you for everything!

We were with White Plains Safari for 2 weeks, visiting Kenya for a field course with University, and we had a great time- the service was top quality, friendly and efficient, and provided us with everything we needed for the entire time we were there. The staff were great and the vehicles provided for the duration of the trip were very nice and comfortable. I could not recommend white plains safari enough.

We were a group of 30 University students and staff visiting the Aberdares, Ol Pejeta Conservancy and then Meru National Park for 6 days. we were rather different to a normal safari group in that we were carrying out conservation and animal behaviour projects and also working with local conservation workers. White Plains safaris did an excellent job looking after us, they were very reliable in terms of start times and pick ups and also very flexible in that they were taking groups to different places and we were sometimes making extra requests at short notice. The drivers were very safe and very knowledgeable and were much better at spotting animals than we were!. They were also very friendly and funny and kept us entertained very well with looking after a large group. A big thank you to Joseph and his team!

Professional and trustworthy. Great choice for your travels across East Africa

I've used White Plains Safaris for all of my holiday travels in Kenya. The team's professionalism and dedication to their work is commendable. During my numerous trips with White Plains Safaris, I've done Masai Mara tours and watched the magical Wildebeest Migration 4 times, visited the Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park and others, to name but a few. I've also done various trips to the coastal towns of Kenya and sampled the beautiful white sandy beaches of Mombasa, Watamu in Malindi, Zanzibar and others. My transfers to and from the airport have always been smoothly handled.
I would highly recommend White Plains Safaris for all of your Kenyan and African tours, safaris and travel needs.

I enjoyed touring with white plain safaris. I was picked up on time, the driver was quite skilled, good natured and knowledgeable, making the game drives for example at the Mara very enjoyable. It was an unforgettable experience.
