I have just returned from an organized motorbike tour of the Picos and Pyrenees with Wild Roads Motorcycle Tours, and I had an absolutely fantastic time.From start to finish, the trip was incredibly well-organized. We stayed in a brilliant selection of excellent hotels and historic Paradores, all of which offered a high standard of comfort and a great taste of local culture after a long day in the saddle.What I loved most about this tour was the flexibility of the riding. The pace was completely up to you—whether you wanted a relaxed, scenic cruise to take in the breath-taking views or a more pacy, spirited ride through the twisty mountain passes, the company accommodated it perfectly.If you are looking for a perfectly balanced motorcycle holiday with great roads, top-tier accommodation, and excellent organization, I highly recommend booking with Wild Roads. I will definitely be riding with them again!

Fantastic locations all sorted coupled with epic roads, great accommodation and like minded people. Trip of a lifetime if you don’t do anymore. You will want to do it again. Spain off the tourist route is everything you want.

We me at a Plymouth dock cafe for introductions and immediately on boarding, the group of 9 bikers had become mates! Intros were made over a lager or two. Or 3. Wild Roads owner Josh was outstanding, his ability to crate a group of largely older bikers into a team was top notch. We arrived in Santander and then started the bike trip across wonderful twisty roads in the mountains. The road quality was outstanding, way better then the UK. We generally biked 150 to 230 miles a day with a couple of rest days. The biking was generally pretty easy with no offroad. The quality of the accommodation was outstanding, the first few days were in the acclaimed Paradores group of Hotels. Beautiful. Josh bought the first and last nights dinner, including beverages and that was very generous. There were a couple of rest days thrown into the trip which are important to see the local sights as well as the roads.

I loved the trip and highly recommend it to others. Josh well understands his role as tour lead and takes care to ensure everybody has the best time possible. 10/10

It was fantastic. I was wary of spending 2 weeks with a group of people I didn’t know but I needn’t have worried and you’re always free to do your own thing and everyone was super chilled about that. And the riding was as good as it gets

Second tour with Wild Roads having first time toured the Picos . This tour Tuscany Twisties was again absolutely faultless, Routes all the way meticulously planned taking in the best possible scenery and ride experience. Accommodation absolutely fantastic in superb locations.
Daily routes provided to enjoy as a group or if you felt the desire to ride your own ride and meet up at the next coffee/ lunch break .
Josh is first class at putting a tour together so much so l have already booked tour 3 Old Spain

This is the first motorcycle tour that I have ever done. So, in all fairness, I cannot compare Wild Roads to other motorcycle tour operators. But, having said that, the tour was everything I wanted and more!
First and foremost, Josh Hawkins is a really great guy. From my initial conversation on the phone with him, prior to booking, I sensed that he was in tune with the type of motorcycling I was after. A degree of freedom without feeling abandoned.
The structure of the tour, amount of riders, the quality of accommodation and the roads that Josh led us to were ideal. Josh was instrumental in providing the setup for a relaxed atmosphere and bonding experience between the riders. The social side of the tour was incredible and has resulted in some longer lasting friendships.
The mileage that Josh set for each day was also well judged, with a couple of welcome rest days included in the tour to revitalise.
If you are looking for a road tour with the option of independent riding, challenging twisty roads, awesome views and high level accommodation for comfort, Wild Roads is for you. I thoroughly enjoyed my first motorcycle tour and wouldn’t hesitate to book with Wild Roads again.

Having reached the grand old age of 75, I wanted to mark it in some way. I fancied a motorbike tour to spain, as I had toured the Pyrenees some years ago and wanted to see the Picos. A google search came up with Wild Roads and after an enquiry I was sent all the information I needed. I wanted a 2 week break with good biking roads, decent hotels, great scenery, and non of the hassle researching and booking places to stay. Within a few hrs of paying the deposit I received ferry tickets. Great communictions throughout. The holiday was better than anticipated and although not knowing fellow travellers, soon became aware that we all had things in common. Josh was a brilliant host and was quick to address any concerns I had. I would recommend Wild Roads to anyone wanting a motorcycle holiday. Ant Samouelle. Picos and Pyrenees trip 2026.

This was my first major tour across Europe and it was spectacular. Everywhere you looked was a picture postcard. The roads were amazing, the views breathtaking, the hotels top class and the company was brilliant. I can't recommend Josh and WildRoads Tours enough.

Had a fantastic really well organised trip, which was tweaked to suit a few personal extras we asked for. The routes were really well planned, and after a day on the bike it was nice to have a good quality hotel to stay in. Definitely recommended

I recently completed a Picos de Europa and Pyrenees motorcycle tour organised by Joshua at Wild Roads Motorcycle Tours.

I did the trip on my Africa Twin, and as it was my first European motorcycle tour I was initially quite nervous. However, Joshua made it a real joy from the outset and was a great host throughout.

The tour was well organised but not constrained, with riders free to ride at their own pace, which made the whole experience very natural and enjoyable — you never felt like you were being escorted around in a bubble.

The routes were outstanding, with a brilliant mix of tight, technical mountain roads in the Picos and flowing, scenic riding through the Pyrenees.

The hotels were also excellent and very well chosen, adding real comfort to the overall experience.

I came back a more confident and relaxed rider, in no small part due to the approach of the tour and the freedom it allowed.

Overall, a fantastic trip and one I would happily do again.

Wow! What a tour! Ok, So I booked a Picos and Pyrenees Tour with Wild Roads, all I knew was some friends had ridden the area and loved it but I was unable to join them so I Googled and up came this one. Thanks Google! I couldn’t have asked for a better recommendation. Before the tour we were kept in contact with and sent lists of items we needed to carry and documentation, especially handy for those of us who had never ridden outside of the UK. We met the guide, Joshua in Plymouth in a cafe at the dock side and from that moment onwards he was always available to answer any sort of question, enquiry, give advice or even just chill and chat with. The roads he led us to were some of the best roads I have ever ridden. The group was a mixed bag of riders, some more experienced than others but no one was ever pushed to go outside of their comfort zone and were always given the best advice when requested.
The hotels we stayed in were unbelievable, from old monastery’s to castles and rustic farmhouses to new super plush modern. All were excellent and top notch! Joshua had an excellent knowledge of the areas we covered, and when we felt a little tired was immediately able to suggest other less taxing rides for those that needed them. Joshua was a very conscientious guide and made sure we were having the best ride and hotel stays that we possibly could.
If I could recommend more than 5 stars I would! And in case anyone is wondering, yes I would book another tour with Wild Roads, I am already looking at what’s on offer for my holiday next year.

Great communication ahead of the trip. Unfortunately due to circumstances I had to cancel my participation. Josh was very understanding and accommodating. Would definitely do a rebook with him. He actually previews the ride during his off season

I have Just returned from the Picos & Pyrenees tour .
It was a fabulous ride experiencing some stunning roads and scenery. Joshua ( the owner and guide of wildroadsmotorcycletours) took us on some great routes that he had previously done recognisance on, to ensure we saw the best of what the area offered from small villages where we sampled local foods to mountain vistas that was breathtaking , everyday ending in outstanding accommodation with some brilliant foods . The rides and routes were well thought out and we had a couple of rest days to explore and do touristy things . We stopped fairly frequently while on the rides so we weren’t in the saddle too long that it became uncomfortable we had plenty time for photo opportunities and chats over a coffee. Had a great time saw some amazing sites and met some marvellous people with lots of laughs along the way .

Great tour through the Picos and Pyrenees. Beautiful roads and scenery with great locations and hotels. I'd highly recommend this your to anyone who enjoys great riding roads, mixed with great hotels and food. 👍
