Misleading, costly, and a rebrand that hides the truth
Invested with Yieldstreet, now calling itself Willow Wealth, and it has been one of the worst financial decisions I’ve ever made. They marketed “high-yield alternative investments” as if they were safe and innovative, but the reality was massive losses, endless fees, and zero transparency.
• I lost money in deals that were poorly vetted and defaulted. Instead of owning up, they quietly rebranded to Willow Wealth, scrubbing years of performance data from their site. That’s not improvement—it’s concealment.
• Fees piled up even as investments tanked. Management fees, access fees, commitment fees… all while my portfolio bled value.
• Liquidity is a joke. You’re locked in for years, even when projects collapse.
• Communication feels polished but hollow. They spin everything as “normal market risk,” but the scale of defaults shows systemic mismanagement.

Total loss of investment
I invested ~ $100,000.00 across seven opportunities. So far 2 out of 7 have been a 100% loss (I lost $40K). The other 5 are on "watchlist" indicating they are not performing to plan. Once on watchlist your just in limbo, no return just wait and see. I understood this would not be liquid, but the watchlist just puts it on hold till they decide how to move foreward... and there is no indication of how long that may take. Based on my loss and the watchlist of the remaining investments, I would NOT do this again or recommend it to anyone else.

Just a rename of an immature syndication business that was called yield street. Go look them up. They lost plenty of capital that won’t disclose. Be careful. Gamble at Vegas is better

Yieldstreet with a different name under same incompetent leadership
This is yield street who changed their name probably to bad reputation. But seems to be still managed by the same incompetent leadership of Michael Weisz, Mitchell Caplan, Ted Yarbrough. Lost huge amount of money. 3 out of my 4 investments turned to dust 0%, I stopped receiving any yield with all the money currently unrecoverable. What incompetent investment company loses 90% of their clients money and 3 out of 4 bad investments. I know it is totally my fault for making that decision and believing their marketing. So beware. Emailed them repeatedly and no response. All I got was emails from their Zionist CEO supporting innocent civilians genocide in palestine. I will change this review if I ever recover my money back.
