I am not one for following a person or a hype and Wilson’s coaching is straight to the point , practical and transformative . Transformative if you put in the work . Having implemented some of the practical tips he gives is already making a difference in my business by generating brand value and leads . I sometimes wish I knew all of this earlier . His coaching method is not one of sugar coating but rather preparing you for the real actions you need to take if you are serious about your career and business by cultivating real leadership skills . Where I am at is equally proportionate to the work I put in or not .

Before starting Wilson Luna’s executive leadership program this year, I didn’t see myself as a leader. Quite a particular and triggering phrase, wouldn’t you say?
The 1st time I heard Wilson say this, during one of his Masterclasses, I thought to myself:-

“what’s the biggest problem I have right now, so that I can get his attention”
It was right there and then, when my whole perspective of how I look at a “problem” changed! I realised that it was actually my way of thinking that was the actual problem, because I wanted to get his attention by bringing a problem to the table, instead of a solution.

Where else was I doing this? How many times had I missed out on an opportunity in business, because I had been looking at the situation in front of me, through the lower mind lens vs higher mind (solutions)

In my line of work, as a Leader in the Luxury Hospitality Industry, I am in constant need of being present, providing solutions, being of service to my clients. Like many founder/CEOs, I was not truly accountable for my performance. My network of business friends would support me strongly but never really question how I spent my time and what results I was achieving. It was the same with family and friends. My results plateaued, things were comfortable, but I was not happy with my performance or the business growth.

When I first joined Wilson's coaching it was more to find a better way to survive in business. After a short period I started to realise that I had the potential to thrive, and with Wilson's guidance and unrelenting coaching style, business started to rapidly grow.

His coaching style is transparent and direct. Providing the network with an example of what attributes and skills an industry leader requires. Never claiming that any of these skills or attributes are god given talents - more the result of dedication and hard work. If you want to talk business results, starting with Wilson I had a cabinet making business which had peaked revenue for about 3 years in a row of around $500-600k. With Wilson guidance I niched my business, pivoted into the fitouts, now servicing the many of the country's best chains. Last financial year was our best to date at $16.5mil.

For my own entrepreneurial journey, these results come second to the skills that I am building. The "problems" or "hurdles" I face today in comparison to them of years gone past are significantly bigger but feel the exact opposite - this is a testament to the coaching.
