Yesterday I noticed that 40 Euros was withdrawn from my account by ”AUTONOLEGGIO WIN REN”. What is this all about? I have returned the car back in August 4th in Rome.
Please clarify this to me.

In response to WinRent reply to my original post;
- WinRent have never contacted me about the charge taken from my card.
- I tried to contact them by phone but was put on an answer machine for 20 minutes and gave up.
- They have charged me for damage that existed on the car before I hired it.
- This damage could not possibly be caused during the rental period - and there is clear evidence of this.
- They have pulled the same stunt with other customers as evidence by other Trust Pilot reviews.
Stay well away. Use a reputable company instead. These guys are cheap for a reason. Will post an update on this in due course.
Never rent a car at Win Rent! They take money from your creditcard - even months after the car return. Win Rent does not respond to emails and their customer service does not answer the phone. I believe Win Rent is not a trustworthy company and I advise anyone not to do business with this company.
Hi, after renting a car in early September in Bergamo and returning it with a full tank I was charged 41.25 EURO for gas.....
I emailed them back a couple of times with a picture taken when I left the car at the airport (with the full tank) but they did not answer.
So even if the car was ok the service is very bad and it looks like they are charging a low rate only to add extras after the rental is complete, even if they have no basis for them.
So keep an eye out for this if you rent from them.
Very bad experience with my car rental. I booked a car for 10 days for +/- 300 euro's. After returning the vehicle with an almost full tank (only 1 stripe short) My girlfirends creditcard was charged with 248 euro's extra! When I asked for specifications the charge said: 'miscellaneous' and 'accesories'. I have absolutely no idea what I am charged for. The gasoline was 36,- euro's so why the additional 200+ euro's?? Also I never received any notice about these extra costs. I am stunned by the way this company acts. :(

In reaction on my comment on Winrent.
In the meantime we have received back our money. Or at least the budget is on our credit card since 23/7. Unfortunately we were never informed by Winrent or our credit card company that the money was given back to us.
There was no communication what so ever from Winrent.
So to give a correct picture. Winrent paid us back our money on the spot, but send no communication. If they had done this, I never would have written a comment on this site. It took me a lot of time to trace this.
Ho noleggiato un'auto per 5 gg a Trapani a fine agosto 2017. Mi sono trovato molto bene al desk, ma con gran sorpresa mi hanno consegnato l'auto internamente sporca. Non mi era mai capitato nemmeno in Africa!! Ho chiesto di pulire ma mi hanno risposto che non hanno aspirapolvere!! Mi sono dovuto togliere briciole e pagliuzze da solo. Brutta figura per Winrent!! Al ritorno l'ho fatto presente al desk. Hanno stretto le spalle. Per il resto l'auto era ok e il prezzo buono.
Buona macchina a buon prezzo ... veloce consegna e restituzione ... soddisfatto
Over 2 month (!) after renting a car in Pisa 40 Euros were taken off my bank account. My email request for info remains unanswered by Win Rent. What can I do??

Booked a Renault Capture and received a Jeep Renegate as upgrade while our Capture wasn't ready.
Good service, from registration to receiving the car +/- 20min
Maybe because of the low season? Anyway,... I recommand this company
Rented a Nissan Qashqai for 10 days from Florence to Milano. Very easy and fast to get it. No problems when we left it in Milano. They charged us excactly what we had arranged, nothing extra. Will definitely hire there again.

A friend and I rented a car this summer. A few days after the drop-off you charged us with extra fees without any explanations, after a while you replied here. Not a good customer service in my opinion, you really need to improve your communication!
Now, you have once again charged us with 40 euros. Why and for what?

I have book a car this summer with win rent , Full paid in advance, and full coverage.
they blocked 150 euro on my credit car in case of returning the car empty of fuel. In the day of returning the car, everything was on order and they gave me a receipt where is showing that they have cancel the amount.
But my surprise was that the next day they have use my car fraudulently without my permission and charge me 176.26 euro.
I have sent an email with a complaint and still no answer from them.
I have seen that I am not the first customer, I will bring this to court if is necessary, If they don't return my money immediately.
On top of everything they gave me a dirty car with a big dent that was covering all the side door, when I have complained about that, they have responded to me that the car was driveable.
I have rent my car in Cagliari aiport if this is a help for anyone.

Noleggiato un'auto all'aeroporto di Palermo. Consegnato un'auto di categoria superiore con 5000km. Avrei preferito quella che avevo scelto perché più spaziosa ma va bene anche così.
Tempo di consegna nella norma (circa 20min.).
Nessun problema alla riconsegna.

We rented a car at Pisa airport. No real problems except for a tyre pressure warning light that came on throughout, even though the pressures were fine.
The place is undermanned so luckily there were no other customers to make a queue. But I couldn´t contact anyone by phone about the tyre thing.
One puzzling thing for which I cannot think of an explanation. I was with my son in law who is Spanish and speaks Italian. He was quoted about 5 euros a day for an extra driver.. Then another assistant arrived so I went there, speaking English and was quoted 11 euros. When the discrepancy was pointed out, it was corrected. Now I wonder how that can happen?

Nous avions commandé une voiture de type fiat 500 et nous avons failli nous retrouver avec une smart 2 places, même catégorie selon win rent... De plus nous avons failli ne pas pouvoir avoir de voiture car il n'y avait pas le même nom sur la carte bancaire et le permis de conduire ( donc la totalité des frais sans voiture) et on nous a chargé de 18 euros pour le ménage de la voiture... alors que nous avions jeté tous nos déchets... Seul point positif la gentillesse à l'accueil, après que des mauvaises surprises...

Noleggiato una vettura classe E all'aereoporto di Bologna nei primi di Agosto del 2017. Auto perfetta con meno di 18mila km, adetta gentilissima al desk che ha effetuato un upgrade gratuito alla classe superiore non appena ha visto che eravamo in quattro persone, piu passegini e valigie. Come in tutte le compagnie vi è bisogno della Carta di Credito (attenzione non bancomat) per la franchigia. La mia trattenuta è stata di 150euro avendo io optato per la copertura totale dei rischi. Ho preso da solo e riconsegnato nello stesso modo la vettura avendo comprato la kasko direttamente sul loro sito di conseguenza avrei risposto solo in caso di furto.
Esperienza quindi molto positiva la mia, sicuramente prenoterò con loro di nuovo la prossima volta e mi sento di consigliare questa compagnia almeno per quanto riguarda l'ereoporto di Bologna
First pick up - 45 minutes it took for the man to serve the two people in front of us and then us. I thought perhaps he was doing more than just checking licences and reviewing our prepaid voucher, but no, he just spend 2 minutes per key when typing. Totally slow, no acknowledgement, just plodded through. Then he says we have lost an hour of our rental because we picked it up late! We pointed out that we were here, waiting, but apparently that counts as us using it. Then we had to go down to the car where only two of the 12 or so scratches were written up. The woman scoffed at us pointing them all out, yet it's always the car hire places that claim you've done it. Very rude and frustrating. Return was just as slow - 20 minutes to get our deposit back. Will not use again.

Morale dopo 7gg mi trovo un'addebito di 54 euro per carburante pur avendola consegnata col pieno.
Mi dispiace ma questo si chiama fregar le persone
