I attended Los Angeles: A Visual Lineage. This is not the first time I have attended Woodbury House. I have always been interested in art. I have bought inexpensive, but what I thought was interesting art in the past. However, I was in a position to have a look at investing in art for my future as well as my personal taste. This is where Woodbury House come in to their own. Beautiful people, who know their business and can guide you intelligently in a down to earth way. Steve the owner and Sam, as well as the rest of the team are invested in what they do. This comes, across in the way they inform and educate you about an artist you may know very little about. As a result of my interactions with them, it has led to me purchasing a couple of peices. Their events are something else. You have the chance to meet other people interested in similar things. I'm really glad to have come across them. I would recommend them to others.

Lovely friendly hospitality in a central-but-quite location, cool art and space

Great experience and great atmosphere. Loved meeting the artists and seeing a piece created live. The experience at Woodbury is unlike others in London. Highly recommend having chat with the team.

It was my first visit to the gallery and loved seeing in person the works by Estevan Oriol, Chaz Bojorquez, Defer & Retna.

I found the staff very professional and informed on each and every piece of artwork and hope to make purchases in the near future.

I recently visited the Los Angeles: A Visual Lineage exhibition at Woodbury House and had a fantastic experience. The show offered a vibrant and thought-provoking look at the evolution of street art and visual culture connected to Los Angeles. Each piece felt carefully chosen, and together they created a compelling narrative about the city’s artistic heritage and the voices that have shaped it.

What I particularly loved was how the exhibition highlighted the connections between different artists, styles, and generations. You could really see the “lineage” the title refers to — how influences flow from one artist to another and how street art continues to evolve while staying rooted in its urban environment.

The artwork itself was bold, energetic, and full of character. From graphic pieces to more intricate works, the range kept the exhibition engaging the whole way through. The gallery space was also well curated, allowing each piece to stand out while still contributing to the overall story.

Overall, Los Angeles: A Visual Lineage is an inspiring and memorable exhibition that celebrates the creativity and cultural impact of street art. I’d highly recommend it to anyone interested in contemporary art or urban culture. It’s on until the 24th April, not too be missed.

I went to my first event at Woodbury House for the "Los Angeles: A Visual Lineage" exhibition.

The whole experience blew me away. I'm new to the art scene and didn't have an intention of buying anything on the night (which Steve knew!), yet Steve and the team invested time and effort in educating me on the art; explaining the history; and making me feel at home.

The event itself was a lot of fun. I met new friends and found a new interest in the artists and their works. I'd highly recommend a visit.

I'll be back at some stage - and who knows, maybe I'll buy something next time!

Woodbury House Art Gallery is a fantastic space for displaying artwork.

I really enjoyed my visit today. I attended the Los Angeles: A Visual Lineage exhibition. It features work from the talented artists Estevan Oriol, Chaz Bojórquez, DEFER and RETNA. For those interested, this exhibition runs until 24th April 2026.

The staff at Woodbury House are friendly, knowledgeable and provide a warm and welcoming environment. Lydia Guest was very professional. She was also so kind to give me a copy of the brochure she had saved from the opening day of the exhibition.

I highly recommend Woodbury House.

A brilliant show set within an exquisite gallery space, showcasing some of America’s most exciting and influential street artists. The energy, creativity, and talent on display make it an unmissable experience. Truly worth a visit.

Had a great night at Woodbury House Thursday evening for an event they put on. Purchased an amazing piece. Was great to be able to meet the artist and have a chat with him and even be able to watch him do a live painting. Felt really looked after by Steven and was nice to meet the rest of his team.

It was great to meet the team. I initially contacted Woodbury House a few months ago about interest in some of the pieces and had some good, constructive discussions. At the time I decided the time wasn't right to purchase and there was no hard sell from their representative.
I recently made contact with Rocco about a particular piece and had the pleasure of visiting the gallery, where I was made to feel very welcome by Rocco and Steve. They were very passionate about the art at the gallery and understood what I was looking for. I am very happy with my purchase.,

A brilliant experience from start to finish. I was invited to speak on the Woodbury House podcast with Steven and was blown away by the space. Incredible art, setup and overall experience.

I'd signed up a while back for more info on some of the artists when I was an art student and got a call from Dan who invited me to pop by sometime when I was in London. I visited for the first time last week and met Dan and Steve. Even though I'm actually the proverbial starving artist myself and just an admirer not a buyer, I was still made to feel welcome and given a personal tour of the work currently on show. And the art was brilliant. Very much looking forwards to visiting again for future shows.

Steve, the owner of the gallery, could not have been more welcoming and hospitable as he showed me around an amazing collection of street art pieces. I felt privileged to see works by Blek le Rat, Richard Hambleton, Lee Quinones and even Charlie Ahearn. Steve is hugely knowledgeable and has an obvious and infectious passion for this art form. I left the gallery having been enlightened and educated.

Rocco and Steven both were not only educational in the works presented in the gallery, but also humble and hospitable in treating their guests like they belong no matter their profession. I had great conversations about the art & the art world; what is and what is to come.

I've been to the gallery a few times now and enjoyed each visit. The artist opening shows have been great, some real exclusives too. If you're a fan of culturally important street art, then this is well worth a visit, and if you can buy a piece, even better

I visited Woodbury House for the first time and had a wonderful experience. I was welcomed by the owner, Steve, who kindly made time for me despite not having an appointment. He spent around 30 minutes introducing me to the artworks on show and sharing background information about the artists. His knowledge and passion were clear and really enhanced the visit. The gallery itself is bright, clean, and very welcoming. A great space with a personal touch — I’ll definitely be returning.
