I visited Woodbury House for the closing show of Charlie Ahearn’s Wildstyle exhibition.

The place was friendly with a great atmosphere. I look forward to visiting again.

I have visited Woodbury House several times, and it has quickly become one of my favourite places to experience art in London. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the team’s genuine passion for what they do really stands out. I’ve been so impressed by the artists they represent — from Gary Stranger and Charlie Ahearn to the up-and-coming Lee Quinones. Each exhibition is thoughtfully curated and full of inspiration.

Steve Sulley, Sam, and Dan are always responsive, accommodating, and on hand to offer advice whenever needed. It’s a great place to meet like-minded people and enjoy conversations in a vibrant, friendly atmosphere. Whether you’re an avid collector or simply love discovering new talent, Woodbury House is a true gem in the heart of Mayfair. I’m excited to see who they showcase next and look forward to future events.

I saw this exhibition being advertised on Instagram and having been into Hip Hop and Graffiti Culture since my teenage years in the 1980s was eager to see this.

I sent an email to be invited to view the exhibition and had great correspondence with Daniel.

When we arrived at the Exhibtion we had a warm welcome from all the team and also with the bonus of having Lee and Charlie Ahearn there having just arrived the night before from New York.

Daniel also advised us the following night was the closing event and sent us an invite the next day which we also attended and caught up with some familiar faces.

Overall a great exhibition and would recommend going to Woodbury House for future art events.

I absolutely loved the finale to Charlie Ahearn’s Wild Style exhibition at Woodbury House last Thursday 9 October. Whether you were well versed in street art or a mere novice, there was something for everyone, with the artist himself present on the night. The staff were efficient and attentive as usual, ensuring that all the guests were well looked after. This is a fabulous venue to mingle with fellow art lovers in a friendly and vibrant environment. Well done to Steven and his team . It’s always a pleasure visiting the gallery either for a quiet browse and chat about the most recent exhibition or to attend an evening like this one.

Wow, so much to say! I have been to the last 3 shows at Woodbury House and they have all been amazing, showcasing the art I love and collect. So glad this space is in central London and more importantly the artists they are attracting and showing. I have met Steven and Sam and their team a few times now at the shows and they are so welcoming, personable and knowledgeable. If you’re a collector or love urban art/culture then this is the gallery for you. It’s now my new go to space and I look forward to what they do next. Saying that, looking forward to the new Lee Quinones show opening this week. Should be a great show following on from the Wild Style Charlie Ahearn show that has just finished. So refreshing to have a rotating gallery with new and old artists passing through their doors.

We had the pleasure of visiting the Wild Style exhibition by Charlie Ahearn at Woodbury House today, and it was a wonderful experience. The personal tour was enjoyable – very friendly, informative, and gave us great insights into the background of the exhibition. The atmosphere was welcoming and inspiring, and we immediately felt at ease. Thank you for such an enriching experience – we’ll definitely be coming back!

Steve Sulley and the team at Woodbury House are the market-leaders in street art: period, full-stop.

Aside from the extremely knowledgeable approach to this art there is a real appreciation of the client and the artist and bringing both together in a totally unique way.

This last week we had the launch of the re-mastered classic Wild Styles at the BFI film festival followed by the launch of Charlie Ahearn’s Wild Style exhibition at the Woodbury House Gallery. This coming week it’s Lee Quinones’ first UK exhibition for 40 years. To have both of the leading artists/film-makers in the hip-hop sub-way art/street art scene appear at the Woodbury House Gallery is testament to the market-leading reputation and draw that they have. 5 stars doesn’t do it justice: Steve and the team are in a league of their own!

I can highly recommend arranging to see the Charlie Ahearn exhibition at Woodbury House. His work vibrantly documents that early hip hop era dramatised by his film of ‘83 “Wild Style”. Steven greeted me on opening day and took me through the exhibition (super knowledgeable as always) giving me insights into Charlie’s world.

A lovely experience. Some interesting pieces on display, alongside our family’s art. Enjoyed speaking with Steven about the market and WH’s approach.

I visited the Charlie Ahearn exhibition recently and was welcomed by Steven who gave a thorough overview and valuable insight to the various works on display. Having a lifelong passion for early Hip Hop culture and the film Wild Style, this was a fantastic visit to Woodbury House. I’m really glad I took the time to view and discuss Charlie’s art and look forward to many more exhibitions to come.

The gallery is in a lovely location and Steven and his colleague was very welcoming. Some interesting pieces to view alongside our family’s current portfolio about which Steven seems well researched and experienced.

Investing in art is a good way diversifying my investments and making my portfolio more risk averse. The gallery has a range of carefully selected artists, expert staff to guide you, meeting people in the gallery who are on hand for advice made the journey easy. I look forward to building an art portfolio with them.

We had a wonderful experience at Woodbury House. Lydia was fantastic, and it was a pleasure to see the current exhibition by Gary Stranger. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. We highly recommend visiting this place, and we can't wait to see the next exhibition.

I feel obliged by my moral code of excellence to leave a 5 star review once again for Woodbury house gallery and the professionalism of the whole team for pulling off, once again an amazing exhibition from another legend from the golden era of hip hip and urban art……the one and only Mr Charlie Ahearn, flim producer of the 1983 classic ’Wild Style’. Photographer and director turned artist Charlie has produced an amazing series of works representing the late 70’s through to the mid 80’s hip hop and street art scene from downtown and lower east side New York. Together with the production and promotion skills of the Woodbury house team you are on for an exhibition to remember. Don’t miss out. I was very lucky to have a sneak preview just before the official opening as a holiday departure would’ve meant I’d miss the show. I purchased an amazing artwork from Charlie through Woodbury house and it was great to see it in all of its glory taking pride of place on the gallery wall. Get down there and witness a part of hip hop history and grab yourself something unique while it’s still available. This will be a sell out road block for sure. Thanks guys. Once again you’ve shown why you’re the number one galley in the country for this genre of original art and showmanship with the display. Gutted I’ll miss the closing party but today was enough of a high to see it in all of its glory

Visited the gallery on 22 September, 2025, for a private view of the Gary Stranger show (last few days). Steven kindly explained the background and individual artworks and was very hospitable. It is a beautiful space and the team there are very professional and friendly. I’d 100% recommend this gallery. Great artists and a great way to see unique art.

I have had numerous interactions/encounters with the gallery and conversations with Steven, the man is quite literally the salt of the earth and subsequently, we have built a substantial relationship. Still in its infancy, the gallery has hosted groundbreaking pioneering artists, who have influenced/inspired the next generation and evolution of that art form. I have no hesitation recommending the gallery and would encourage anyone in the area to give it a visit. The staff are knowledgeable, forthcoming and always happy to take the time to talk/ educate/inform about the exhibiting artist or exhibition.
