I had ordered a Petlin Sheesham Wood Coffee Table with 2 Seating Stools(Walnut Finish) on 29 May 2024, Order Id #650233.

The product was delivered 1 Month later on 26th June 2024. Thereafter, in October 2024(just 4 months later), the stand of one of the stools had come off and I called Wooden Street to convey the same so that it can be repaired under warranty. Imagine the quality of the product which couldn't stand on its feet for even 4 months.

A ticket for the same was logged on 30th October 2024, Ticket No. 279280. After that it took 10 days and constant follow-up from my side post which Wooden Street got the faulty product picked up after 10 days on 10th November 2024. Since, then I have been constantly following up on when would the repaired product be delivered, but its been 20 days now and there is no update and the Wooden STreet fails to give me an update in spite of following up through multiple emails and phone calls.

Refer to Order Details (Cambrey 6 Seater Cushioned Dining Set With Bench (Honey Finish) Order id : 749593 / 10 delivered by wooden street pathetic delivery personnel today on 31 Oct 2024 around 12 pm WHEREIN the product delivered was found with defects which were shown to the delivery boy and endorsed by the owner in the invoice receipt. Find attached images and pdf file.

Defective product details endorsed in invoice copy by owner.Check and read properly.

Defective Product -

1. Table wood chipped off.

2. Chairs top left and right side wood cracked

3. Bench upholstery misalignment and ill fitted


Your delivery boy has done forgery by doing digital signature of owner on his mobile app for which a Police FIR under relevant CrPC for forgery shall be lodged.



Wooden Street is give 24 hours notice to replace the complete set failing which legal action and police FIR will be lodged without prejudice and with costs for harassment to customer, forgery, frauding with delivery of defective product.



It is pathetic to mention here that wooden street has worst management team who failed to ensure quality checks before delivery inspite of clear mention of the same disseminated vide email dt 22 Oct.

Police notice under issuance

My ordeal began when I ordered a King Size Bed against Order ID: #716420 on 7th Sep 2024. First, there were delivery issues. Then I received a damaged product. No installation support. I had to arrange for my carpenter to install the bed. The instructions/drawings that came with the product were all wrong. Assured me a refund for carpenter charges of Rs. 1200/-. Says the same was processed on 15-10-2024. Till this moment(20:43Hrs, 28-10-2024), the amount has not been credited into my account. More than 10 calls, 12 tickets, and 25 emails notwithstanding, I have neither received the replacement for the damaged part, nor the refund for carpenter charges. These guys are pure thugs. Just avoid WoodenStreet, Pepperfry is far far better in all respects.

I would give -100 if it was possible here. posting my issue that is posted on Facebook. they shamelessly remove comments that do not suit them. Never ever buy from these fraudsters.
@ wooden street, stop removing posts from customer that give genuine feedback. Respond to the issue, rather than hiding posts. After more than 6 months of placing an order for a lounge chair , 2 replacement requests 40+ emails and countless calls to your service desk... the chair never got delivered per specifications. Now chasing your customer service desk for a refund for last 3 weeks getting the same answer every time, that the person in the accounts department is not reachable we will call back in 24 hours but no call or email ever comes. It is ridiculous the way you are taking your customers for granted and ripping them off money. Can you please look into the issue and provide a resolution ASAP? Order ID: 661927

Guys never ever place a order in wooden street furniture website. This is a fraudulent company. I placed a order a month back still not received it. This is a scam Company.Alerting everyone so that you don't fall in prey

Worst service. Still waiting for my product to get delivered. It’s been more than 45 days and there is no update from them. No email response.

I would have given a negative rating if there was an option.
They do not have proper logistics, they will take the money and then you just wait and wait, they will not refund your money neither they will deliver.

They do not have a proper logistics, it is highly remote chance to get any update on the delivery status. Unlike other stores, you wont be able to reach their customer service team. Eventhough they commint two days shipping it takes more than two weeks or more... Recently I made two different orders, both am struggling to receive. If you have any options would suggest you to look for that than Wooden Street.

Please don’t hook up with this people, they are running a scam. They will not honour any promises they give and your money is going to be stuck. Please choose some other company and not theirs. They are the worst!!!!

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent purchase of a bed from your company. Unfortunately, the experience has been far from satisfactory.

Upon receiving the bed, I noticed an overpowering and persistent smell emanating from the wood. Despite airing it out for several weeks, the odor has not dissipated. This issue has made the bed uncomfortable and unusable, as the smell is quite unpleasant.

Additionally, I have reached out to your customer service team multiple times regarding this issue but have yet to receive a response. This lack of communication has been extremely frustrating and has left me feeling disregarded as a customer.

This company is a scammers.
Order a coffee table and it has been more than 6 weeks but no delivery. I was told that i will receive the order within 3-4 weeks but whenever i called them, they were increasing the time week by week. No phone support, people who are managing store are dumbass. They know nothing, just selling the products for fraudsters.
Do not buy anything from these fraudsters. I purchased from jaipur vaishali nagar store.

I ordered a wooden dressing table with Order ID 650696 which arrived with defective doors After receiving a replacement door associated with Order ID 650696 I discovered that it was also defective and lacked glass In an attempt to address this issue the Wooden Street carpenter accidentally broke the glass from the old door while transferring it to the new one After a few days the Wooden Street team assured me that a new dressing table would be delivered under Order ID 686881 However I am extremely frustrated with the delivery of my replacement order 686881 Despite your commitments the delivery has been delayed for the past three days causing significant stress and disruption to my personal plans.The customer service has been very poor with all received products being defective and no refunds provided despite several followups. I would not recommend Wooden Street to anyone Please stay away from Wooden Street to save your hard earned money

Ordered an item. Item was delivered fine.

Item doesn't look of quality. The ring of the wall clock frame is very flimsy and is not worth the price, hence I raised a return request and this where the drama started. They point blankly refuse the return saying that the quality is absolutely fine without actually examining the product. As a consumer, you should be able to judge on the item and return it if you think the quality isn't worth/value for the money.
I was going to order furniture items but this put me off completely.. thank you wooden street for saving me the headache!!!

We were looking to buy a sofa-bed for our guest room as we were expecting some guests around 1st week of June 2024 who were going to stay with us until 21st of June. We liked something on woodenstreet, com and on 30th April, we went to check it out at one of their stores on Golf Course Road in Gurgaon, HR.

Unfortunately, the store did not have the item in stock, so we were going to leave, but the salesperson Mr, Noman, at the store promised us that there was enough time for them to manufacture and promised delivery by 31st May but no later than June 8th.

We placed the order right away for the sofa-bed and a side table.
Since they had the side table in stock, they decided to deliver it the next week even though we requested them to deliver it together along with the sofa-bed.

Around 21st May, we called to check on our order as online it was still showing a status of "processing". We were told that everything was fine, and the delivery will be made as promised.

Our guests came and left but the sofa-bed never got delivered. Around 19th of June, we were told that the sofa-bed was delivered to their warehouse in a damaged condition and that we should expect more delay as they go through the repair process.

It was already too late as my guests were going to leave in a couple of days anyways, besides, we did not want a "repaired" item, so we asked them to cancel the order and process the refund for both the sofa-bed as well as the side table that they delivered.

Reluctantly they agreed to cancel the order and initially they refused to take back the side table as they said it was delivered more than a month ago, but when I threatened to sue them, they accepted the return although
we had to go through the trouble of physically returning it to one of their retail locations.

In this whole ordeal, not once did anyone from Wooden store apologize or say sorry. At the end of the day, it was all a waste of time and unnecessary stress.

Will never order anything from this store again, considering what we had to go through.

WOODEN_STREET- WHAT A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! INCORRECT SOFA DELIVERED TWICE!! We ordered a left aligned sofa from the Golf course Road Store. The Store sales person, Md. Noman, ordered the wrong alignment (Full amount paid in advance as per their policy) and the truth got unveiled one month later, finally on the delivery day!
After a lot of tussle, we could get a temporary product meanwhile the correct sofa was being manufactured.
To our surprise, again wrong alignment sofa was manufactured!!
or you could say they never manufactured the correct sofa and tried to get us stuck with the same incorrect sofa all over again!!
so after two months, today, i went to the store to ask them my money back, they asked me that the money will be RETURNED IN WOODEN STREET WALLET!! I couldnt take it anymore. After hearing an earful of consumer court threats from me, they agreed but they said first temp sofa will be picked up, then they will return our money back. Now got my money back, when i m returning the sofa at my own terms.

If there was an option for ZERO stars, I would have chosen that. In the first instance, the wrong product was delivered. In the second delivery, they got the wrong shade with soiled upholstery, poor brass polish.

A carpenter came over to fix but he could not and said that the product was not of the right spec - must be replaced with a new one.

Later, customer support washes their hands off saying they do not see any problems with the delivery and that it MET THEIR QUALITY STANDARDS.

I am planning to approach the consumer court shortly with all the photos, videos and conversation transcripts.

But my view is that Wooden Street are used to such complaints. Very obviously, they stand for POOR QUALITY.

Best approach:
AVOID buying from them.

THE WORST NIGHTMARE NEVER BUY FROM WOODEN STREET. I ORDERED A LEFT ALIGNED SOFA FROM STORE. AFTER WAITING DOR A MONTH WHEN FINALLY THE PRODUCT ARRIVED, IT WAS WRONG ALIGNED SOFA. PLUS THEY WERE FORCING ME TO PAY DELIVERY FOR THE WRONG PRODUCT. AFTER LOT OF DELIBERATIONS, THEY PROVIDED US WITH THE TEMPORARY PRODUCT AS THE CORRECT PRODUCT WAS GETTING MANUFACTURED. THE ENTIRE PROCESS OF RECEIVING A TEMPORARY SOFA TOOK TWO MONTHS. WE DONT KNOW WHEN WE WILL RECEIVE THE CORRECT PRODUCT. NEVER RELY ON THESE STORE SALES PEOPLE AS THEY ARE BARELY QUALIFIED TO PLACE ORDERS AND MANAGE THEM. ALSO SUPPORT SERVICE OF WOODEN STREET IS THE WORST. THEY WILL MAKE FALSE PROMISES AND WILL KEEP YOU HANGING.

Pathetic company which provides defective product and never on time, never ever consider buying from here you may go and buy from other companies. Wooden Street only makes false promises
