Jeremy really worked with me to connect me to the program. Working together with Jeremy, Evan, and Lauren, you can see their passion and dedication for what they do. What's more important is they walk the walk and talk the talk - implementing themselves and sharing with others, the very same strategies they are promoting. Everything that the program is teaching to help others start and/or boost their tutoring business are practical, coupled with support and encouragement. I would highly recommend WYOP to teachers looking to transition from the classroom or supplement their income as a tutor as well as established tutors that are aiming to boost their current business.

I find that this company is very understanding and willing to work with me and my personal needs. When they call it Write Your Own Pass, they really mean that. I have been a part of two other programs with coaching. One for copywriting and one for publishing. Bother programs cost many more times this one, but neither one comes close to the coaching offered here. If you're a teacher ready to leave the classroom, this is the right company to learn how to build your tutoring business. All of the coaches I have worked with have been phenomenal and I've only been doing this for two weeks. I already have a tutoring client based on what they've taught and I'm looking forward to many more.

I joined Write Your Own Pass as a coach and everything changed for me. I got the support I was desperately needing. I am revamping my ad campaign, doing organic marketing, working through the training modules and attending all of the classes.

As a coach it is important to us to be familiar with the training modules so that we can help our clients. The lessons are easy to follow and super helpful. In addition, there are many classes offered to accommodate people in different time zones. I have attended most of the classes and get a lot of value from Write Your Own Pass.

I attended another program that was similar and find this program more affordable and supportive. I highly recommend it to anyone wanted to start their own tutoring company. I am no longer struggling because of their constant attention.

WYOP is a great way to begin your own tutoring business. Evan and Jeremy do a great job of helping you build your business and connecting you with other like minded entrepreneurs. They offer virtual sessions for you to ask questions, build your skills, and even give real time feedback. If you are currently working full time, it may be challenging to schedule virtual meetings with them because of the time slots that are available. They do their best to work with you though and typically communicate within a 24 hour time period.

The team at Write Your Own Pass not only cares about educating kids, they care even more about educating the people who educate kids!!! It doesn’t matter where you are in your tutoring journey, Evan will meet you there & guide you in all of the next steps to turn your passion into purpose. He spends time one on one and feels deeply committed to your success. I wouldn’t have had the confidence to take this leap on my own without Evan, Jeremy, Brian, and the whole WYOP team!

Evan and Jeremy are not like some big company where you will just be one more number. They genuinely care and actually answer to you, unlike other programs I have done.
If you are ready to invest into yourself to actually have a tutoring business, go for it.

Applying what I learned, I got my first student in 8 days of joining

I joined Write Your Own Pass (WYOP) to start an online tutoring company to enhance my take home pay. With Jeremy’s help I was able to better use Social Media to promote my business. In this process I found my niche and realized that tutoring was not the direction my company needed to take. Jeremy help me realize that the homeschool community needed me to provide Chemistry instruction. I have now created a “Chemistry and the Bible” workshop series and a Mastering Chemistry for Homeschoolers. The Mastering Chemistry is taking off and will be offered at two different Cooperatives starting in August.

The coaching calls, and Skool training library, and interaction online has given me a great way to develop my focus. Jeremy provides clear guidance and practical support. I especially appreciate the individualized coaching and Evan’s feedback.

I joined WYOP in December seeking coaching and support as I committed to becoming a successful business owner. I work on my business full-time (40–50 hours a week) and am willing to troubleshoot, take risks, accept critical feedback, and learn new tech. I’m independently driven and proactive about asking for help when I need it. These aspects of WYOP work especially well for me:

• Asking lots of questions is encouraged. My questions help move me forward and help Evan and Jeremy understand where I need support.
• I attend as many coaching calls as possible (usually 2–4 per week, including tech calls), to get support and engage.
• The active communication on Slack helps me stay accountable and feel connected. Daily engagement translates into real progress on my business.
• The Skool training library provides helpful explanations and guidance and is often a quick way to learn about a specific topic without waiting for a coaching call.
• The individualized coaching format helps identify and address pain points specific to my situation.
• Evan’s review and feedback on my recorded sales calls has been one of the most valuable parts of the program.
• I’m grateful for Evan’s ability to understand my niche, which isn’t very mainstream. I initially worried this might be a challenge, but it hasn’t been at all.
• Jeremy has been extremely helpful with tech setup and often offers excellent sales advice if you ask! Power Tutor and Meta ads can be complex, but Jeremy has partnered with me as I learn to navigate them.

Whenever I have questions about parts of the program, Evan and Jeremy are always willing to explain their reasoning and offer clarity.

Using Write Your Own Pass is a great way to get the best guidance when starting your own tutoring business. Both Evan and Jeremy are very knowledgeable, encouraging, positive, friendly, helpful, and respond quickly to questions. They have ongoing workshops that are very helpful, especially in the beginning, plus they have all the getting-started steps laid out for you is in a simple and easy to follow format. Plus, the software programs they use are simple and helpful. I can recommend them enough!

I have been working with Jeremy and Evan for quite a while now and find that they are very knowledgeable about how to get a tutoring business started. They are always easy to reach and to help. I was always good at math in high school but never thought that I would someday help others with math issues. When I started down the WYOP path I was scared but I knew that Evan and Jeremy were going to guide me along so I took the leap. And I'm glad I did. I'm still just getting started but I really think I can do this now. I have others in this group who have already helped me too, so I'm on my way.

Evan is a great teacher and friend! More importantly for this context, he knows how to build and run a successful tutoring business! He has helped me with logistics in all sorts of different areas. At first, I wasn’t sure if I should sign up with Write Your Own Pass. I didn’t know if it would really work or if the systems would be too hard for me to use. But I am so glad I decided to do it.
