My recent purchase of an eMTB from 99 Bikes Chichester has proven exceptionally satisfactory on two fronts. Firstly, the service provided by Paul was outstanding; he carefully considered my needs, offering several suitable options within my budget and allowing ample time for a considered decision without any pressure to purchase. Secondly, the stock covers all disciplines of cycling this includes clothing, security and accessories.

Easy to get information, easy to understand and quite concise in the service.

Bought my first road bike through cycle to work scheme and they have made the process seamless. Shaun was knowledgeable and gave me great recommendations on what to go for and what accessories I needed. When picking up the bike Byron and Nicole was very helpful in walking me through how the bikes work, especially when it’s my first time using clip on pedals. Keep up the good work!

Great service from Fergus and team. Bought a new bike and was pleased with excellent and advice. Thoroughly recommend.

They would fob me off with the story wed rather take our time and do the job right than rush and do it wrong. They refused to give me my bike back until the fork was ordered for nearly 6 months until I got so angry I threatened to sue them.

Really not happy with the level of service from this company. Purchased a bike march 2024, The bike was damaged on my first ride (obviously not the company’s fault) Stone chip which caused a large amount of paint to come away from the fork. After speaking with one of the stores we they agreed they would order in a new fork and I would only be charged cost price But here we are 10 months down the line and no contact no fork and no idea what’s going on. I have called for updates but not had any reply as apparently the chap I need to speak to is always off. One very disgruntled customer.

Excellent customer service again. I booked my Santa Cruz tall boy in to the Chichester workshop as the dropper post wasn’t working properly. Adam/Adrian P sorted the problem out whilst I was still browsing in the shop and very kindly didn’t charge me.

I was looking for my first Mountain bike so looked at 99Bikes in Chichester and received very good service from Jordan who explained various bikes to me and there workings . I visited the store a couple of times and felt no sales pressure. Overall a pleasant experience, highly recommended.

Jon and the manager at the Southampton store gave my wife and i absolutely top class customer service.
I would recommend this store and these guys to anyone interested in purchasing any type of bicycle.

You are lucky if everything is fine with the bike. In other case, it will be very tough. It is the company who operates with cowboyish attitude. They will refuse any reasonable demands.

I have recently bought a bike via the cycle 2 work scheme from 99 Bikes and their service was excellent. Phil could not have been more helpful & very understanding when there was a delay in me obtaining the certificate. The bike arrived in a timely manner and was perfect! I would definitely purchase a bike from them again. Thank you 99 Bikes!!

They said to me bring my bike to them to get bits fix’s. Sounds all good. But they don’t tell you that they will now change you £10 each to take off your tires and put back on! Really

Sunday visit to Chichester store was a great experience for our nearly 9 year old. The chap who looked after us (unfortunately I missed his name) was amazing. Even though he was looking after us and others nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him. He was knowledgeable, friendly and really enthused our child with all things bike. Thankyou so much.

Great customer service and some great deals. I ordered a Scott eRide for my wife who really enjoys riding the bike. It's amazing value for a Shimano / Bosch specced bike from a major brand. The build quality and robustness of the bike is amazing and inspires confidence in her riding. I had a minor issue with a peripheral, which was resolved without question, Overall, 99bikes are the most approachable bike shop and you can trust their excellent customer service and aftercare. I'll be on the lookout for a gravel eBike for myself in a few months and will look here first!

I found a broken spoke on my mountain bike so took the wheel into the Chichester branch. One of the staff was on the telephone and ignored me and eventually someone else came out. He didn't look at what the problem was and went to his computer and reacted completely negatively, saying they wouldn't be able to do anything until probably October. Terrible customer service, it was as though I was disturbing them.

I then took my wheel to Chichester Halfords where a couple of smiling lads couldn't do enough for me. One of them pointed at the poor condition of my tyre so I ended up buying two tyres as well! You don't mind spending a bit more when you get such good service.

Never going to 99 again.
