All the staff were helpful in keeping me informed of the sale of my property and all the help I received in looking for a new property.

A&C Inverurie made the selling process very easy, Caitlin explained everything clearly at the start, including costs and kept me right along the way. Having their own internal legal team was ideal, again making it easy and hassle free along with some excellent advice. I will be using A&C again and would recommend them to all.

We've just sold our house and I've been so pleased with the service from AC. They have been so attentive and always calling to give me updates. I've never felt in the dark once. Onto the solicitors side of things to complete conveyancing and I'm honestly not expecting a single hitch or a surprise. I would happily recommend them over and over. 5🌟 to Calum, Helen and Alison

The AC Shawlands Office Manager Susan provided a free desktop property evaluation at the outset with no hard sell and answered all my questions prior to engaging with them. She was very professional and delivered when she said she would. Susan explained the process fully and was always helpful when the property was put on the market. The whole process from the beginning to the marketing of the property was done very well and the property sold as predicted, very much in line with AC's experience. Conveyancing was also carried out by AC's in house legal team which went smoothly, however I found myself having to follow up with them a few times as I wasn't fully aware of all the steps in the process. The marketing side of the whole process felt easier than the conveyancing side which I felt less satisfaction with, but it was clear in hindsight they had in everything in hand. I'd recommend them if selling a property.

We sold our house through Aberdein Considine and the experience couldn't have been better. The service we received was excellent from start to finish: everyone we spoke with was extremely helpful and made the process feel straightforward (despite the many stresses of moving!). I used Aberdein Considine’s Westhill branch to help buy my first property. Samantha was really helpful and made the whole process stress free. I also had mortgage advice and David was also helpful! I am really pleased with how quick and efficient the process was.

Our mortgage was paid off so we appointed Aberdein Considine (Edinburgh Office) in February 2024 to complete the discharge to remove our bank lender from the deeds to our house.
We contacted AC in April and again in June 2024 for updates, we were informed the bank still hadn't sent them a discharge letter. We contacted the bank directly in October 2024 to enquire about the reason for the delay, they informed us they hadn't received any letters or calls from AC and gave us a direct contact email for AC to get in touch.
November 2024, AC informed us paperwork for discharge had been submitted to Registers of Scotland and would take approximately 6 MONTHS TO 2 YEARS.
March 2026, we called Registers of Scotland directly for an update on progress. When I told them we'd been waiting since November 2024 they laughed and said the process takes a MATTER OF DAYS and said they hadn't received any communication from AC.
We submitted a formal complaint to AD and eventually received the completed discharge document at the beginning of April 2026, it was date stamped the DAY after we'd registered our complaint.
AC did waiver their part of the fee but we were never given an explanation to why it took 2 years 2 months to complete.
If we hadn't contacted our bank and Registers of Scotland ourselves we'd still be waiting.

From the very start the team at Aberdein Considine have been fantastic. It is our first time selling a property and boy did we need our hand holding! The house is now under offer and hopefully the legal team are as good as the support team. Big shout out to Ellie, couldn't have done it without you.
