Didn’t get a response from the booking company after paying booking fee etc took a while to get a response and I apparently booked a property that was already fully booked

That said, we absolutely understand how frustrating it must have been to pay a fee and then discover the property was already fully booked. If you contact our support team with the property details, we’d be happy to look into what happened and help where we can.
A great help for narrowing down…
A great help for narrowing down suitable properties in Belfast. However, it is a pity that paying a deposit does not guarantee that you will actually receive the room you originally paid the deposit for. In my case, the room I had paid a deposit for subsequently became unavailable, and I was offered an alternative room at a higher cost instead.
This is something to be aware of when using the service, and I would recommend confirming what happens to your booking and deposit if the original room becomes unavailable before committing.

Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience. The website lists and advertises a large number of properties as available, but when you enquire, you are repeatedly told that they are no longer available. You then have to keep sending separate enquiries just to find out what is actually available. The listings do not appear to be kept up to date, which makes the whole process frustrating and a waste of time. It would be much more helpful if the website only advertised properties that are genuinely available.

Keeping availability as accurate and up to date as possible is something we’re actively working on with our accommodation partners, particularly during busy periods when rooms can be taken very quickly. We’re also improving how we recommend alternative properties so students don’t have to repeatedly start their search again.
