My first time ordering from AP. The "Ivory" colored dress was snow white and my husband and friends agreed. I sent a pic to customer service as requested, and they refused to acknowledge the color discrepencey on the website compared to the actual dress. The return fee was on me. Worse..the company only invites you to post reviews on items kept after 60 days. Company policy states you cannot post on items returned.

So I mistakenly thought my return dresses were under one return receipt. I was told they would review once the item was received and verify there were two. Someone committed fraud and claimed one dress and refuse to acknowledge receipt of the second item valued at over 150. Do not do business with this company!

Do not buy from Adrianna Papell unless you are 100% sure you will keep the item. I ordered a dress that came with free shipping, but after trying it on, I wasn't happy with the fit and initiated a return. What they don't make obvious upfront is how aggressive their return deductions are. By the time they processed my return, they deducted a return fee, a handling fee, and even taxes associated with those fees. In the end, I paid over $30 out of pocket for a dress I couldn't wear and no longer have. Free shipping on the front end means nothing when the return costs practically penalize you for trying on a garment. Highly disappointing customer service and deceptive return practices. I won't be shopping here again

My time-sensitive order was cancelled with no explanation, and upon enquire, I received an automated email saying my order didn’t pass their security checks. No details or instructions in case I wanted to place the order again. Terrible customer service.

I purchased a dress directly from Adrianna Papell for a family wedding. I specifically chose this dress because I need an extended size and carefully used my exact measurements to select a size I was confident would fit.

The dress arrived beautifully packaged with the original tags attached. Unfortunately, the moment I opened it, I noticed an extremely strong perfume-like fragrance.

When I inspected the dress more closely, I found multiple visible stains/discoloration on the sleeves. Even more concerning, I discovered what appeared to be deodorant residue inside the dress at BOTH underarms. I immediately contacted Adrianna Papell and provided photographs documenting the condition of the dress, including photos showing the tags still attached.

The combination of the strong perfume odor, exterior staining, and residue inside both armpits left me seriously concerned that the dress may have been previously worn or returned and then resold without an adequate inspection.

The customer-service experience added to my disappointment. Because my family wedding was only days away, simply returning the dress did not solve my immediate problem. Their initial offer if I kept the dress was a $20 store credit.

After multiple emails, that became a $30 refund. Only after I requested escalation to a manager was I offered their stated maximum: a $50 partial refund.

Adrianna Papell did offer to accept the dress back for a full refund with no restocking fee. They also eventually offered a $30 store credit to cover expedited shipping if I purchased another dress. However, a replacement was only expected to arrive on the day of the wedding, and I would have been giving up the only dress I already knew should fit based on my measurements.

Mistakes happen. My biggest concern is how a full-price garment with a strong perfume odor, exterior staining, and apparent deodorant residue inside both underarms passed quality control and was shipped to a customer as new.

I’m also disappointed by how much back-and-forth and escalation was required before the company offered a $50 adjustment.

The dress itself is beautiful, and I appreciated finding an elegant formal gown available in an extended size. That makes this experience particularly disappointing. Plus-size customers often have fewer options when shopping for formalwear, which makes receiving an item in the condition advertised especially important.

For the cost of the dress, I expected substantially better quality control and greater accountability when something went wrong.

Buyer beware: If you’re ordering from Adrianna Papell for an important event, inspect your garment carefully as soon as it arrives, including the inside.

Another 1 star review from me. It cost me $45.80 for the pleasure of trying on 2 dresses then sending them back. I ordered another dress before I realized that I could have used credit from the returns. When I called customer service, there was nothing they could do for me as the item was already packed to ship. No discount was offered. The third dress I paid full price for plus their 12.95 shipping which in this time, is ridiculous. Never again.

I wish I had come here to read the reviews before placing my order. I decided to place an order for the very first time. This fraudulent organization won’t honor their refund policy. I ordered clothes over $520 CAD and arranged for the clothes to be shipped to me from the US to Canada as this company won’t ship directly to Canada. Even though I am yet to receive my order as it’s still on the way, I found one of the items I ordered here in Canada at a cheaper rate. I contacted the company to ask for a price match. They refused to do a price match even though I offered to send proof of this item being sold at a much cheaper rate. Twice, the agents said they will contact me after speaking with their manager to get an approval but they never called back. Upset, I told them to send a return label so I can return all items upon receipt to get my full refund as I absolutely refused to support a business with unethical practices. They refused to send a return label for some of the items as they said the items can’t be returned, which is against their 30 day return policy. Let’s keep in mind that I am yet to receive the items. I absolutely DO NOT recommend shopping from here as they are unethical, lack professionalism and have no rega d for their customers.

To be honest it would be 0 stars. But have no other choice. Waiting for a refund of £279 for a dress returned in April. They have mailed me back once, as there was a confusion ( their side) on the returns postage lable. "Looking into it"!!!! After all my mails...no further response from Adrianna Papell... Silence. I'm now having to go to small claims to get my money back. Truly and utterly disappointed. The dress was beautiful, but not correct size. Hence return...but never refunded, even though there is proof it has been delivered back to them. Buyer beware!!!!!

Do NOT shop from this terrible company. They advertise “NOT A FIT?
NO SWEAT - WE OFFER EASY RETURNS & FREE EXCHANGES” but fail to mention “RETURN FEES:
When we process your return, a $9.95 shipping/handling fee will be deducted from your refund, plus $5 for each additional item returned.” I bought $266.84 worth of clothes and they were ALL cheap fabric, odd sizing, and not worth the money. Despite their advertising “how easy” returns are, they totally leave out the part that they charge $10 bucks to return PLUS $5 PER ITEM! Ridiculous!!!! Never shopping again!!! Buyer beware!
