We needed to move house (3 bed) going around 250 miles across the country from Eastbourne to Sheffield, and found Andy through Shiply. Andy was so helpful throughout the process, being really responsive and patient as our completion date changed at short notice.

He offered a really competitive price (and significantly less than other removal companies we had contacted directly), with the assurance of being fully insured, and sending two guys. We knew he had lots of other vans, so it felt low risk in going with him compared to some of the 'man with a van' quotes we received. We ended up needing to add a couple of items last minute that we'd failed to sell, which Andy let us do at no extra charge as he knew they'd fit in the van that he was sending, which relieved so much stress.

The removal guys on the day were incredible - so friendly, efficient and effective. They packed up, dismantled then reassembled our beds and unpacked everything in record time. Would recommend to anyone looking to move.

Absolutely brilliant service today to move my piano from my home to my storage unit on moving day. I was unable to be present and the drivers even re-jigged my storage items already stored to fit the piano safely and flush to the unit, freeing me up some extra space. Very professional service with a call en-route with an eta and constant contact from Andy via text while I was working. I thoroughly recommend! Thanks again chaps

After being let down by 2 other companies, an international move was keeping us up at night! The service with AJ Movers was everything we needed and more. These guys are great. Everything went smoothly from getting the quote to collection and delivery. Its quite stressful bringing back personal items from the south of France to the UK but they just took that stress away. Friendly, helpful and very hard working. Great job.

Andy and his team were excellent from the moment they first provided an online quote to the actual delivery of my stuff in my flat in Denmark.
I was a little stressed thinking that moving my life's possessions - valuables, frames, collectible and delicate items including vinyl and instruments - from the UK to Europe would be costly and risky. Not least because of Brexit! AJMovers did everything to make me feel at ease and I was so happy to receive everything in less than a week.
I strongly recommend that you consider their services - whether the job is big or small, and especially if you are also planning an international move.

Movers were friendly and took good care of everything. The pick-up/delivery took place on the agreed dates. Approx. hour of arrival was communicated via email on the day before (with more updates via call/text on the day itself), which was really useful to avoid having to block out the entire day. The value for money was good. All in all super smooth and easy!

Both our movers were delightful. Pleasant and hard working, despite the warm weather! Very clean and tidy, and took such care with our family baby grand which is a much treasured piano, but enormously heavy. Knew exactly what they were doing with pianos. Would definitely use them again. Thank you guys!

We have just taken delivery of the items that WhiteGloveMovers agreed to take from Bristol to Madrid. The communication was very good, the guys that picked up and delivered were on time, communicated well and were very professional. The whole experience has been nothing short of amazing and I cannot rate this company highly enough. We will definitely be using them again.

Excellent service as always

The teams that came to pick up the boxes and to deliver them at final location were efficient and the process worked out in the timeframes agreed.

However, if you'd like a move well-organised and communicated, I'd suggest looking for a different company. We hired them through the webpage shiply and the messaging back and fort was quick but very imprecise.

For example, we asked to please send us a summary of what was included in the quote after agreeing to a variety of services. They stated the messages were proof of what was included. However, on the day of the arrival of boxes they then stated that an additional service was not included and if we did not pay, our boxes would basically be left in the middle of the road because they would not be carried to destination.

Another examples is that after telling us that the boxes would arrive in the middle of the afternoon, they stated we had to pay in full the rest of the move, claiming it was in their term and conditions. Upon pointing out that this was not true, we were once again told that they would not deliver unless we pay.

For all it goes, a move is stressful enough and this company certainly did not ease any of the stress.

As a reference, this is my third international move and by far this company was the worse experience.

Edit: we did pay everything, so I do not understand the comment from the company below, as if we still owed them money.
The problem was not paying or not, the problem was the amount of stress this company put on us due to very bad organisation.
As stated by some other reviews as well, they are intimidating and do not allow for proper communication via phone, putting down the line without letting customers finish speaking.

Edit 2: after my first edit, the company sent me this email, because it believes I did something wrong
"I will send example how you tried to avoid payment to all places I can.People can see that on few occasions you tried hard to avoid payment.Tomorrow I will send emails to institute of health and other places.We both know that all was done without stress and we done 100% what we agreed.Only when you need to make a payment you started this circus.

I will send screen shot and what it was agreed.People must know what kind of person you are."

The email exchange listed below are not true, I never said I will not pay - I said I will not pay for the waiting time if the bank transfer does not arrive on time. And, once again, the fact that the move has to be paid in full is not written at all in your terms and conditions.

Also your guys were FAR from POLITE - at unloading time there were boxes with FRAGILE written on that were smashed through because they had put them under a pile of other stuff and they said it was my fault. I pointed out one item was missing and I was dismissed, saying that no they had unloaded everything and to go upstairs to check. In our apartment, the item was missing and I had to go to the truck with them to see where it was. And indeed, it was there! But ehy, it is just me, expecting movers to be knowing how to handle fragile boxes and not treat me badly when I want to make sure that everything that was loaded also gets unloaded.

We needed a small furniture removal from the UK to Spain. The process was stress free throughout, and well worth the cost. There were no issues around customs. Date and timing of collection and delivery were as agreed, the removals men were friendly and careful with our items. Everything arrived undamaged. Would happily use again and recommend - well earned 5 stars!

Second time we have used AJ Movers. Again brilliant service, super reliable and great execution. Collected our furniture from three different locations in London, packed and protected everything really well and then drove everything down to us in the Algarve. Guys were super nice, clean and careful. What more can you ask for!

Andy was very responsive and would always reply to the email, being very flexible and made sure that my requirements are met without too many unnecessary back and forth. The team take came for collection and delivery were hard-working, friendly and were very calm throughout the whole move.

We contacted AJ movers for a move of our furniture to France. The packing into the lorry was careful, fast & efficient .They were polite and helpful guys & we could not recommend them highly enough .A very Professional great service .
