The inspiration for Aleo was born from a meeting of minds across the globe. A desire to connect people through artisan craftmanship, understated luxury and contemporary asthethics drove the formation of the brand. Born in Sydney, Australia, nurtured in Northern India and now based in Ireland, Aleo is a global brand at it’s core. Co-founders Tara and Jonathan Jordan wanted to create something both playful and creative, while remaining true to their passion for sustainability and slow-fashion processes. The brand name Aleo (/'a:.ley.o:/) represents a small village nestled in the Himalayas, where Tara & Jonathan’s son was born. This secluded mountain hamlet inspired the ethos of Alēo; the clean air, snow capped Himalyas and endless sense of wonder made us stead-fast in our desire to deliver authentic products for women/individuals/fashion lovers from all walks of life. I’m a huge fan of ALĒO. The bags are exceptionally well made, beautifully designed and luxurious. The leather, craftsmanship, detailing and finish are all superb, and I always receive so many compliments whenever I wear them. People often assume they are from one of the leading luxury fashion houses, which is a real testament to the quality and design.
I had a black Matchbox Mini for over a year and wore it constantly. It barely seemed to age and still looked beautiful.
Sadly, that bag was stolen and I was devastated. At the time, the black Matchbox Mini was sold out, but the customer service from ALĒO was absolutely outstanding. I ended up buying the Matchbox Mini in green, which I also love.
Earlier this week I randomly checked the website and couldn’t believe the black Matchbox Mini was available again. I thought I’d never be able to replace mine, so I’m thrilled to have ordered it again. I’ve also bought the larger Matchbox this time and can’t wait to receive and wear them both.
The customer service has once again been exceptional — warm, incredibly responsive, helpful and communicative throughout. A massive 10/10. If I could give more than five stars, I would.
I feel very loyal to this brand and will absolutely continue buying their bags and following their designs. Beautiful bags, outstanding quality and genuinely excellent customer care. I really can’t recommend ALĒO highly enough.

Unique design and fast delivery

Very fast delivery and the bag was even better than I thought. The leather is thick and the bag definitely looks very designer. The only issue is that it’s impossible to log into your account on Aleo from my experience and there was no printed order details inside the box or thank you note. I do not wish to return it but if I did this would have apparently been more difficult.
