Fantastic trail and Guide, Herlin. Also fantastic meals.

Herlin, nosso guia, é uma pessoa unica, afavel, com muito conhecimento e realmente apaixonado pelo seu trabalho e cultura do seu povo, é um homem que tem orgulho de suas raizes. Nos sentimos muito acolhidos, o que tornou uma experiência incrivel em algo inesquecível. Ainda por cima, a comida estava incrivel, Soledad é uma cozinheira de mão cheia.

Had a very seamless experience with knowledgeable and helpful guides - plus their business practices are ethical and sustainable which is a nice bonus!

This was an amazing experience. Lucio was our tour guide and was just full of knowledge and the best guide we've ever had. Really well organised, amazing food. I felt like I learnt everything I needed to know about Inca history by the end! Would recommend to anyone!

Lucio was an incredible tour guide! He was so informative and he knew so much about the history and the local plants and wildlife. He was so encouraging, especially when the hike got tough in some parts. The entire expedition was so well organized and I had such a great time. Would recommend to anyone to experience the Inca trail in a short amount of time!

The trip was really well organised with a local guide. Before starting the trail we were given lots of information and we were able to rent what we needed. Henrry our guide was great at communicating information about the sites, he was very encouraging and made the Inca trail a lot of fun. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of food lots of choice and different dishes everyday. Raul did an amazing job keeping us well fed throughout the trek. The porters also did an amazing job and were very friendly and helpful.

Really friendly and helpful team which made the whole experience enjoyable. The food cooked by chef Raul was consistently great and varied. Henrry our tour guide made the whole trip fun!!

We had a wonderful 2-day short Inca Trail Hike with Nilton and Ever! It was informative, it was fun and they took pretty well care of the group. We made enough breaks during our hike for drinking and for listening to interesting facts about flora, fauna or history. The lunch was freshly cooked and it was amazing. The cook and the porters also doing a great job. On the second day we learned ablot about Machu Picchu and the history of Peru in generel. Thank you for that once in a lifetime experience :)

Nilton and Ever were fantastic guides on a 2 day/1 night Machu Picchu experience! Nilton has a wealth of knowledge about the Peruvian and Incan culture. His English is perfect and was able to answer all questions. Also, Ever is a fantastic photographer and was always willing to help with photos! We had a fabulous trip- a bucket list trip! Definitely a must-do!

Nilton & Ever have been great. They are both knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. Along the route we learned a lot about what Inka history and day to day life. This has been an eye opening experience I will remember for the rest of my life. Thank you Nilton & Ever!

Nilton and Ever were great guides. Always helpful and lots of knowledge about the different stops of our trip. Always enough time for questions, photos and some funny stories. They made our trip very comfortable as everything was well coordinated.

Had a great experience. Nilton and Ever are perfect guides, they did a great job and made us have a wonderful time. They teached us many things over the nature and history of Peru and machu Picchu. If I visit Peru again, I hope I can do another trip with that two guys. Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful experience with Juan Miranda throughout our 3 day, 2 night Cusco, Sacred Valley, and Macchu Picchu experience. Juan was very thoughtful in making us comfortable, managing our luggage and transport efficiently. He has deep knowledge of all the sites, and utmost respect for the environment and nature. His stories are incredible and very engaging. I would definitely recommend Juan and Alpaca Expeditions to anyone who's looking to experience Peru and the area around Cusco at its best.

The whole Salkantay trek was amazing. It was well organised and the views were incredible. Our guide Carlos was the best, we truly wouldn’t have made it without him!! And the food from Chef Juan Carlos really kept us going. I would recommend Alpaca Expeditions to anyone.

The Salkantay Trek with Rodrigo and Timoteo’s team was amazing. While the hikes could be challenging everyone did a fantastic job at making it a positive experience. Timoteo’s cooking was spectacular and provided so many options and was so accommodating for everyone in our group! Rodrigo was also a great guide and provided so much knowledge and history. I could not recommend Alpaca and Rodrigo & Timoteo more!!

We had an amazing time on the Salkantay trek! Our guide, Rodrigo, and the rest of the staff were awesome - so helpful and knowledgeable. I was especially grateful that they could accommodate my vegan diet for every meal. The altitude was rough but so worth it for the experience. We absolutely loved Machu Picchu at the end! Tupananchiskama :)

This was a very well organized adventure along the inka trail for 5D/4N. The porters were very friendly and professional. Excellent meals were provided by “don Pedro”, and I am still amazed by how he was able to provide so much variety on the side of a mountain for 4 days. Alex, our guide, was the just the best! He was sm excellent guide, but even better person - so kind, and went above and beyond at every corner.

I did the five day four night expedition with Alpaca and it was a life changing experience to say the least. The crew all played a huge role in this experience the porters, chef Pedro, and our tour guide Alex all made it an unforgettable experience. When our bodies were weak and tired the crew cheered us on, Pedro fed us the most delicious nourishing food and Alex was in our ear telling us we could do it, anything is possible and he believed in us. Alex also kept us all smiling and made sure every need was cared for, from a stomach ache, altitude acclimation, and sore knees; he was right there with a solution and letting you know it was going to be ok. Although the whole staff was incredible I know I couldn’t have done it without Alex, he is a true gem. But every single one of the staff members had moments where their kindness stood out, from carrying an extra bag to just walking along with us to cheer us on. Could not have asked for a better group to be with.

This was incredible experience! It was one of the most challenging and yet most rewarding experience of my life. We were a group of 4 people of varying abilities and did the 5 day 4 night trek for a little more time to enjoy the trail and the sights; but it was still very physically demanding. Alex was our guide and he was so kind and patient and able to flex to the different needs of our group day to day. He is super knowledgeable and helpful and I recommend him to anyone going on this experience! Also the porters that carry all the equipment were such a hardworking and kind group of people it was really heartwarming to witness their comraderie and hospitality in action. Our Chef Pedro was incredible his cooking was better than many of the meals I had in local restaurants, made with fresh ingredients while you eat with a gorgeous view on the side of the mountain. I will never forget this experience it was amazing.
