We have recently purchased 2 vans from A M Philip at the Dyce Branch, our initial enquiry was dealt with quickly and professionally by David Townend at the time we were only looking at purchasing one van, the van we purchased was very clean with low milage and we therefore decided on purchasing another van for our Glasgow depot, again David sourced the van quickly and kept us updated at all times with David calling personally as well as email correspondence as to mileage, specification, delivery etc and both vehicles delivered on time.
We will look at using AM Philip for all our vehicle requirements moving forward.

Easy to deal with and very informative - David kept me up to date throughout the process. A few issues along the way that were out with A M Phillip's control which delayed things slightly, but all in all I'd highly recommend anyone looking for a new van or truck to try A M Phillip in Dyce!

Aberdeen Branch..... Received some of the best customer service from the initial enquire which was received from a new start on duty in reception who explained she couldn't answer a question because she was new and would get somebody to call me back.
Maxus you should be proud this new dealership couldn't do enough to help the repair I required for my van was carried out in within 48 hours excellent service

1st class service from David the minute I met him. I would recommend AM Phillip to anyone for buying a van.

Booked in motorhome (Fiat Ducato) to get Comfort-matic gearbox service - several conversations (with someone who did not have a clue) to confirm they could indeed do this work. Dropped van off and heard nothing all day. Heard nothing all morning next day so called at lunchtime to be told they did not have the software to re-calibrate - who knows when someone was going to let me know ….Total waste of 2 days, zero customer contact, zero customer service and poor face to face (just handed over keys and said nothing). Maybe if I was booking in an HGV their customer service would take a different approach but frankly a customer is a customer … recommendation rating zero.

Purchased a new Maxus Deliver 9 from Dyce, Aberdeen Branch
From first visit to view used stock etc I was made very welcome by the team. As discussions progressed I was then offered a loan of a demo vehicle which I took the guys up on. It was made available with minimal fuss and given for a few days trial.
As discussions progressed I changed my mind and decided to purchase a new van with David at the branch. Initial dealings were very straightforward has to be said - we did have a bit of a hiccup on handover dates etc but it was show time and the guys were out and about so things were hectic and stretched possibly I suppose.
However goodwill gestures were received and that was appreciated for the delays I'd encountered waiting to take delivery.
Couple of small issues were then apparent with the vehicle after having it a few days but they have now been resolved swiftly and no expense to myself as they were done out on site at my convenience.
So overall, every person I have spoken with have been friendly attentive and proactive with issues so overall just missing out on getting the 5 stars.

Held vehicle for 5 days when booked in for discs/pads & single coil spring. Told on day 5 that a calliper rubber boot was perished and also needed replaced, and a wait of another day. Poor customer care over the phone, indifferent to the fact I needed my vehicle back by today as previously discussed. They might be fine if you gave a large fleet but if it's your only vehicle then go somewhere they can do simple tasks in a day or two. This review is for the Glenrothes branch.

Massive thank you to the Dundee team. Our van broke down 1 hour into our 10 hour journey to catch a ferry to France. Called at 16.35 on a Wednesday and explained our situation suspecting it was the alternator,the lady on reception was so helpful and informative and they said they'd do their best to have a look. They ordered the suspect part there and then to get it there for the next day. They ran tests first thing the next morning turned out to be the battery which they had in stock. Van was ready to go by 11.00. Saved our holiday. Technician clearly explained what tests and work had been done. Professional, efficient and friendly; service doesn't get any better than this.

Since the facility has opened in dyce, we have found them really efficient in turning round our fleet of vans whether its a service, MOT or a breakdown/repair.

This week we had a battery issue in our van which we were able to send across on the day to be checked over and had it returned that day. Brilliant

Really happy with the service here. I recently took my catering van in for a safety recall and wheel alignment, and everything was really straightforward from start to finish.

The work was done quicker than I expected, and everyone was really friendly and professional. The premises itself is also really clean, which definitely gives you a good impression.

I’ll definitely be using them again and would happily recommend them to anyone.
