We recently had Annie to photograph our very small wedding at the city chambers in Glasgow and our pictures did not disappoint.

Annie captured the day beautifully and with all the pictures we had asked for, which in fairness was very few. We gave her free rein to capture what she thought would look best on the day mostly due to the weather and having no specific requests. We only wanted natural and true to life pictures, with a few posed shots which we now have. She gave us all in pictures in both colour and black and white so we have the choice, which was a lovely touch we didn’t expect, usually you only get a few. We had pictures inside the building and also within the city and they have all been beautiful to look at and remind us of our special day.

Annie was very kind and patient and worked quickly and efficiently. We felt no awkwardness around her and we had a few video calls and emails prior to the day. She was actually great at making suggestions for the day for things we hadn’t considered which again was very helpful.

The only thing I noticed was the visible make up on my dress was not digitally erased on the pictures but in her defence I didn’t ask her to do this. In her professional pictures it’s not very visible it’s just me that knows it’s there so again it’s more a me thing than a her thing. I see it as a reminder that not everything goes to plan but the day is still a wonderful event and small things don’t ruin your big day.

Our pictures arrive within the 2-3 weeks as promised with the addition of a USB of them all sent to the house.

I’m so pleased with our choice of photographer, as this was a second wedding I had a very poor experience previously so was anxious about this part of the day but Annie didn’t disappoint.

Annie was my wedding photographer in 2017 and she was brilliant! So reasonably priced, got some amazing shots of the day/night, we had an engagement shoot first as she provided a board with the picture from that shot in the centre for people to sign at our wedding. To top it off, I lost my wedding usb with all the photos and I lost access to my Facebook account they were all on, I reached out to Annie today (almost 10 years later) just as a last ditch attempt to see if she had any of ours stored on a cloud somewhere and low and behold within a few hours Annie had found all of our pictures and downloaded them all to send to me! Genuinely made my full year! Couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Annie & Peter were absolutely brilliant to deal with and exceeded our expectations with the quality of the video, their responsiveness and personalised approach. I was also very pleasantly surprised at how quickly we received our video as well!

Annie was wonderful at our wedding. Just the photographer we needed for herding guests who can’t follow directions, to capturing our special day in moments that told the story of the day. It’s true what they say, the day is over in a flash and thankfully Annie was there to capture every moment of it for us to relive that day.

She arrived when she said she would, she talked us through the poses she wanted us to do prior to the wedding. To my credit I actually remembered everything she said. She may be small in stature but she is a photographer who gets the pictures that she wants to best capture your day, and takes no messing from wayward guests.

Photos were returned in incredible timing.

The packages offered by Annie are very competitive. We didn’t have a huge budget for our wedding but Annie delivered just what we wanted.

We cannot fault Annie for her professionalism, the quality of her photography and how easy she is to get along with.

We had such a wonderful experience with Annie on our wedding day. She is incredibly kind and lovely, which helped us feel instantly comfortable and natural in front of the camera.

Not only was Annie and her team professional but they were so friendly and fitting in like one of the guests. Beautiful memories captured in all their glory and she was one of the cheapest too. 100% recommend - just phenomenal.

i can honestly say Annie and Peter do not disappoint! we had them from morning prep till 3rd dance and was the best money we spent.
Annie done our photos and after seeing them they were everything i had hoped for and more, i struggled to pick the favourite ones for the album. she was always contactable and managed to calm me whenever i had a bride breakdown! she knows exactly what she is doing and captures every moment from posing to natural.
Peter done our video and after watching it about 5 times so far i still cry each time, he got some much from our day and was amazing seeing bits like my now husband getting organised before i walked down the aisle, my husband getting to seeing me arrive at venue and seeing our guests enjoy the entertainment whilst we got pictures taken. these are moments we would have never seen and so glad we spent the extra money to have our day on video.

Thank you so much to Annie and Peter for everything you did on our wedding day. From start to finish you were both absolutely amazing and made us feel so relaxed and at ease.

Despite it raining all day, you still managed to capture the most incredible photos and video — we honestly couldn’t believe how beautiful everything turned out. The memories you’ve given us mean so much and we’ll treasure them forever.

Every moment was captured and has given us lasting memories. As a fussy bride like most of us are she was able to give us the album of dreams which sits pridenof place in our sitting room.

She managed so awkward situations very well with different guests on the day. Making sure the images we got we what we wanted. Also managed to get our perfect images while we were going through the last day of the end of May heatwave in glasgow which as a bride in a big dress I was dreading but she was very happy to allow us both the time we needed to be comfortable.

Annie was always easy to contact via text or email and done a couple of meetings with us prior to the big day.

I have now recommended Annie to a few people asking for a wedding photography as they have seen my album and wider image selection.

Annie was our amazing photographer for our wedding on 27/3/25 at mar hall and the pictures are amazing! After our first meeting with annie it was always easy to contact her with any questions we had! She has a few different packages and we went for the all day one (victoria package) i think it was called and so happy we did as we now have pictures from the morning getting ready to the first dance/cake cutting along with a beautiful photo album. We also had pre wedding photos done as well and we picked our favourite one and annie had it put in a glass-less frame with extra paper round the sides, that later got passed around our wedding guests who all siged it with lovely messeges! From start to finish Annie & Peter were brilliant. I absolutely love my wedding pictures and video. Everyone has admired how nice they are In my wedding album. I couldn’t wait to get my pictures back and they did not disappoint they were amazing!!

They are worth every penny! Nothing was too much trouble for them. We got married in a local church and then at home on our farm. It’s was just the best day and I have it all captured on video.

We booked AnnieMac for our elopement wedding. It was all very last minute and we were far from organised.
Annie was a godsend, full of helpful hits, tips and advice from the first moment we spoke prior to booking.
On the day the weather was so bad we honestly didn't think that our pictures would be very varied as getting outside was tricky.
Annie and Peter kept us and our guests moving in and outside depending on the weather. They worked tirelessly setting and resetting inside and out all afternoon and into the evening. Our video and album are amazing, we love it and we loved our day. A big thank you to AnnieMac, you made our elopement a real success.

Annie Mac Photography based in Glasgow. The website looks professional and the standard of photography is highly rated. The different packages they offer are also extremely competitively priced and when you are working to a wedding budget that is a god send!

However, as we found to our cost, looks can be deceiving and as they say you get what you pay for! We were both extremely disappointed with the work that was produced and the poor customer service we received after the wedding.

We met with Annie a couple of times and she was very professional. After looking at her sample album I was very clear that I was looking for a more traditional style of wedding photographs and album, not the digital story book that is part of the package, and Annie was only too happy to research this for us and sent over options for us to consider.
On our wedding day we both felt that Annie’s manner was similar to a school mistress bossing both us and the guests around, which made the photo session part of the day an unpleasant experience.
As all newly married couples, we were so looking forward to receiving our photos and video. They arrived 2 months after our wedding and we were so excited when we finally received them. However, excitement quickly turned to despair. The video quality was poor with the images fading in and out of the screen and most importantly the sound/images were out of synch when talking during both the ceremony and speeches. Then we looked at the photos and were truly distraught. Of the 400 photos that were taken I can honestly say that 10 were good, the rest needed to be edited, as the photo composition and lighting were poor, and a lot of them were deleted as they were so random and just the backs of people! I had supplied Annie with a list of shots we wanted, some of which didn’t get taken or taken in the style that we had requested. We did have the majority of our photos taken indoors due to bad weather, however, a wedding photographer should be able to deal with photo composition and lighting indoors, especially in Glasgow where rain is a common occurrence!
I contacted Annie by email as I was so upset and thought it better to keep emotion out of the situation. Annie did not take kindly to me writing to her with criticism of her work and we ended up in a lengthy six month battle, when I eventually had to involve my lawyer and Trading Standards. Annie did not respond to emails in a timely fashion and when she did her manner was extremely unprofessional and kept blaming my laptop for the errors on the video, when it ended up that she had supplied us with a faulty USB stick and clearly hadn’t checked her work before it was sent to us. We requested several edits on the video which Peter did to a good standard, although this did take a lot longer than we would have expected.

The photos were a different story as Annie did not accept criticism of her work, which I likened to behind the scenes at our wedding and having a very distant quality to them, with poor composition and lighting. She made some edits to the photos but they were to a poor standard and I completely lost confidence in her ability to produce the traditional style photos and album that we had asked for, to which she agreed that she was a photographer and not an editor.
We did eventually get money back for the wedding album that she never produced and have now enlisted a photographer who can thankfully edit the photographs as they are not proof marked. He honestly didn’t feel that the edits we asked for were unreasonable and is producing the traditional style album that we originally requested.

After talking with a couple of professional photographers they said there have been a few raised eyebrows within the industry and that Annie Mac Photography is not known for wedding photography, more video and documentary style photos.

I know that Annie will respond unkindly to this review but I believe this to be a fair, balanced and accurate review of the situation and indeed I could have gone into greater detail but have chosen not too and just highlighted the salient points to allow you to make up your own mind when looking to hire Annie Mac Photography as everyone’s experience will differ.
