Only for locals, different prices for non locals
was so happy when I first went to Ariadna Beauty a few years ago. This year I again made a new appointment.
The treatment was fine, a little painful at times. The lady that did my nails was only talkative towards her colleague, but it was ok. Theoretically I would come back again if it wasn’t for them charging foreigners €10,- more. I am no fan of discrimination and we own a flat here and return several times a year. So they just lost a returning customer. (Last time they charged me the “low price”). Note that the website says the treatment is 60 minutes. Mine took 30 minutes…
I don’t expect much feedback taken into account how this business answered other bad reviews on google.

We are sorry you did not enjoy your time at AB, but we feel a few things need clarification, since claims like these taken out of context tend to be more harmful to us than helpful to people looking for honest reviews (but I’m sure you’re already aware of that).
The price of every appointment, as well as the time it takes, is explicitly defined on the website. What is also specified is that the amount shown has a resident discount applied and that you can contact us before making an appointment should you have any doubts or questions regarding pricing.
Resident discounts are common practice in many businesses of the islands and it is not about charging foreigners more, it is about charging locals less as a way to encourage them to support locally owned businesses, but of course we understand if you do not like it, in which case you are free to get an appointment elsewhere if you so wish. Tourists do not get a resident discount no matter how often they return in a year. You need to be registered in the municipality. If the previous time you were charged the “lower price”, it was probably because we hadn’t implemented that measure yet.
Furthermore, I consulted with the professional who assisted you today and she assures me that your appointment lasted for 50 minutes, as she started working on you even before your appointment was supposed to begin at 11 am (again, the website states 60 so that there is extra time just in case something were to happen and to make sure each station is sanitized after every service, also common practice in our field). I could check the security camera as well, but I have no reason to doubt my employee based on the biased claim of an entitled, former client who isn’t happy about a price increase and who thinks is above us because they believe we are scared of a bad review. This is our 2nd negative review (first one visible on google, we are proud in our work and have nothing to hide) in more than 4 years that we’ve been open, which goes to show that our more reasonable clients are very happy with us, even when they have constructive criticism, which we take into account to improve our services.
