My experience with Ascent Funding and Develops Coding Academy has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

I enrolled with the expectation of receiving a quality educational experience and support, but instead I have been left feeling misled and abandoned. There were numerous issues throughout the process, including concerns about representations made regarding the program, communication, outcomes, and overall value received. As a student and borrower, I expected transparency and accountability, but that was not my experience.

What has been most concerning is Ascent Funding's handling of the situation. When serious concerns were raised about Develops Coding Academy, I expected Ascent to investigate thoroughly and provide meaningful assistance to borrowers affected by these issues. Instead, I encountered delays, poor communication, and what felt like a complete lack of concern for the people impacted. Rather than helping resolve the situation, the process became even more stressful and difficult.

This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had involving education financing. The emotional and financial toll has been significant. Based on my experience, I believe Ascent Funding failed to adequately protect or advocate for borrowers who raised legitimate concerns about the school and its practices. The lack of support has left me questioning whether Ascent exercised appropriate oversight before financing students for this program.

I would strongly encourage anyone considering financing a program through Ascent Funding or enrolling in Develops Coding Academy not to. There are at least 100 students that have been taken advantage of through this method with Devslopes. The fact that Ascent did background check on the students but did not check the legitamcay of Devslopes foundation was very telling. My experience has been overwhelmingly negative, and I would not want others to go through the same ordeal. Do not use there service just based of my situation.
