I appreciate Asda stores for launching…

I appreciate Asda stores for launching their own brand, oats, chocolate milk, mini cartons, a pack of six. The price is good as well. It did start at the beginning at £ seen1 .19 £ has gone up to £2.10 however, still cheaper than the higher brands and the taste is really good also.As I have two children with cows milk allergy. It was difficult to find small cartons of milk for me to send to the nurseries in their pack lunches. The kids enjoy drinking this milk and it’s made it really easy for me also. They also stock a wide range of free from items which really help.

Shocking, wont be using asda anymore

Ordered my weekly shopping to be delivered. Nothing turned up. Rang Asda to be told its not coming, it will be cancelled. I told the customer service agent that they've left me with no food and no money until the refund is processed. She responded by saying "yeah". No care at all for customers! Shocking service.

Fraud regarding call centre in India/Philippines a third party that is not owned by Asda.

I received a £5 off £35 spend voucher in the rewards app for 16th to 19th April 2026 in the morning but a few hours later it disappeared.

I contacted the call centre up got through regarding my card number with the bar code but then the guy pretended to get my account details up as my full name that incudes any middle name is not on my account. If he had got my account up then he would know that my full name wasn't on.

That is a breach of all data protection legislation since 1998 incuding UK GDPR Legislation 2018 and DUA 2025.

Some sort of IT issue.

This morning the 17th April the £5 off £35 spend is back on with a different date of 17th to the 20th April 2026.

I'm not sure about calling them down regarding my personal information.

Purchased two packs of Lurpak at Asda…

Purchased two packs of Lurpak at Asda clearly advertised as “2 for £5”, but was charged £4 each at checkout.
Had to contact customer services myself to resolve it and provide evidence. While they refunded the £3 overcharge, they refused any goodwill gesture and told me to go back to the store in person to take it further.
Disappointing experience — misleading pricing and poor customer service. Customers shouldn’t have to chase errors or be inconvenienced to fix mistakes made by the store.
Expected better from Asda.

Damaged product and failed returns

Ordered a table and chairs which arrived damaged. Tried to return so far with two failed attempts at collection (driver didn’t even ring the doorbell, just said we weren’t home!).

Consistently poor service

Well done Asda! You've done it again. You messed up my order and delivered the wrong size.
Still better than last time with 4 of the 5 bins ordered were delivered after failing a few deliveries. And to make your point, they were all dented and scuffed. But luckily for me, when I spoke to customer service and returned them, I was reimbursed for 3 items.

Asda opticians - Naz

I bought my new glasses from their Optitions in High Wycombe. The lady who served me was absolutely lovely. Very helpful, friendly, personable and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Naz's customer service, or the glasses. Very happy all round

Botley ASDA STAFF over charge when paying by card when you question it they laugh no apology asked to see manager told on holiday these staff constantly ripe you off should be sacked fired and prosecuted by police overcharging is a criminal offence staff have no morals l suggest you be on your guide shop wisely l will no longer visit Asda botley Southampton l was going to write to head office until l saw the amount of complaints by others about Asda

There is never a week where they dont…

There is never a week where they dont balls up my order. If you buy 3 item For £12.00 and on is not availble then you dont get 3 for £12.00 you pay full price for the other 2 item thats not fair. I think the pickers are a bit clueless. If one lot of prawns arent avalible there has to be another option?

Worst ever customer service

Worst ever customer service . My little boys bed broke and it has been less than a year so I payed over £100 for a bed to not even last a year at first Asda refused point blank to help me as the “item was out of its 30 day warranty “ I’m not sure why a bed would only have 30 days warranty as it’s an item that should be lasting years . Finally told that actually they can help as the warranty on Asda beds is one year and was told I can’t receive the refund untill the old bed is collected bit pointless but whatever so I booked the collection where the courier then refused to take to the bed as it needed to be “packaged” not one person from Asda customer service told me this so this delayed the collection by a day then today the courier has went to the complete wrong address not sure how when they where at the right address yesterday so the miscommunication between Asda and their courier is absolutely awful . This is my toddler sons bed it’s completely ruined his routine as he’s having to sleep on a makeshift bed on the floor as my bed is only a single and won’t go to bed without me in it . Asda don’t won’t to help and won’t process the refund untill the broken bed is collected and now the collection isn’t untill Monday and the refund won’t hit my bank for 3-5 days so we’re talking nearly another 2 weeks before my son has a bed . Absolute joke I’ve never had such a problem with customer service before over something so simple . ASDA HAVE LEFT MY CHILD TO SLEEP ON A MATTRESS ON THE FLOOR DUE TO THEIR OWN FAULTY ITEMS AND POOR COMMUNICATION

Biased customer

I have been a loyal Asda customer for over twenty years, consistently choosing to do my daily and weekly shopping there. However, a recent experience has left me deeply disappointed.
On a visit to my local store, I noticed a staff member in plain clothes who appeared to make an immediate judgement about me. I was using my own bags rather than a store basket, which I do for perfectly valid personal reasons, and I can only assume this contributed to their suspicion. I subsequently found myself being followed around the store by what I can only assume was a security operative. I was given no reason for this treatment, nor had I done anything to warrant it.
I am fully aware that I may not always look my best or dress particularly to impress, but I firmly believe that a person’s appearance or personal preferences, such as choosing to carry their own bags, should never be grounds for suspicion. This kind of behaviour reflects poorly on the individuals involved and, more importantly, on the Asda brand as a whole.
As a long-standing and loyal customer, I found this experience both humiliating and upsetting. I sincerely hope Asda takes this feedback seriously. Until then, I will be taking my custom elsewhere.

Giving ASDA A Pass For Racial Profiling

On 17.01.26, I purchased groceries from ASDA. Receipt in hand, I stopped to buy a Lottery ticket. Placing my groceries down, I gave the sales assistant my completed Lottery slip. She asked whether I had paid for my goods. I said yes. She further questioned, 'Are you sure?" I was taken aback and asked why she would question me after I had answered? She said that she has to make sure and asked yet again! If I am not going to be believed the first time, what is the point of the second and third questions? This is being done in front of a line of customers causing me great embarrassment. She then called for a male colleague. I let her know that I found her follow up questions insulting as she was intimating that I had stolen the goods. I gave her my goods receipt. Looking at it, she then threw it back at me! Her work colleague was now close by. I asked him whether he had seen her throw the receipt. He said he hadn't. He told me that I could make a complaint since I was unhappy with the way that I had been questioned and treated. He called for a manager who took over 15 minutes to attend. After explaining the issue, I felt further insulted when the manager told me, 'there is nothing overtly offensive or wrong' with what the sales assistant did. I was so offended, that I returned the items I'd bought, although I was refused a refund for the Lottery tickets.
I am Black. I believe the suspicion of theft was racially motivated. I don't wear a hoodie, dress in anything but in a smart way and I speak perfect English. There is no other reason. As soon as I got in my car, I made a phone call to ASDA Customer Services. When I arrived home, I sent an email to ASDA Customer Support which was answered the following day by Clare in ASDA Customer Relations. Clare initially apologised, then a week later, put in writing that CCTV footage had been viewed and it was in fact me who assaulted ASDA staff, not the other way around! I immediately refuted this and put in for a Subject Access Request for the CCTV footage. This should have taken no longer than 30 days. Two months later, I still hadn't received anything. Chasing it, I gave ASDA 7 days to deliver. I received a message from ASDA yesterday informing that either the footage had not been captured by their cameras or that the footage no longer existed! This is absolutely outrageous! As well as complaining to the Information Commissioner's Office, I will be exploring a legal redress. If you are Black and shop in ASDA, beware!

Asda let downs.

Recieved a asda coupen to get £5 off if you spend £35 in store on the asda rewards app. Proceeded to travel too and do a weeks shop, to be told upon checking out the barcode doesn't work at all with self service nor a manned checkout. All staff where aware but had no answer of help. Perhaps the app should be called asda let downs, as clearly not a reward but an utter let down! Clearly should have gone elsewhere, and unless you make it rite I will be.

Don't use online

Online shopping is pointless. Spend ages adding everything to basket for it then not to allow a delivery slot for 24h. Then 24h later can get a slot but can't do the payment and leaves it in limbo!!!

Bolton Asda ( Blackburn Rd )

Bolton Asda ( Blackburn Rd ), has a pizza counter, unfortunately everytime I go in, the pizza counter is closed or no staff serving, i have been in different times, either the staff are of sick or on their break.
There are not enough staff trained to run the pizza counter, this has happened to me a few times. There are no clear times when the pizza counter operates from, so it's pot luck if you get served.
It would be easier to move the counter if not enough staff are trained. I have brought this to the store management but nothing has changed in the past year, as it's been an on going issue.
