I ordered the duplicate photo finder to assist with management of a large photography library workspace on my NAS. The utility is surprisingly fast given the large (100,000+) number of files and comparison strategies although sometimes locks up when there is an extremely large amount (I resolve this by selecting folders in smaller chunks... each project is in its own set of folders so it's not necessary for me to select everything on the network share). I had tested the software on my laptop but then noticed I could only install it once with the license. A quick email to their support got that resolved literally within minutes. Thank you for the efficient support, highly recommend Ashisoft and their products.

Had an issue where the license was losing activation, customer service was outstanding in resolving the issue. I've used this software for many years, last project was cleaning up duplicated files on six hard drives, over 1 million duplicate files. Program worked great, full confidence in it!

Effective product, once you get it activated

Every time I want to use Duplicate File Finder, I have to contact support to get my license reactivated. This was the last time. Cancelling any future renewals. This stuff is garbage.

The duplicate photo finder was great! It removed my duplicate photos quickly from my old computer. After I had cleaned off my old computer, I tried to download the software on my new computer and got a message that the license had already been used. I contacted Ashisoft support and they sent a link to download on my new computer. Their customer support is great!

Prompt helpful reply that allowed me to overcome problems with a reinstallation of an earlier version which said that there were too many installations as I have had to replace my disc drive.

I downloaded the duplicate photo program and it seemed to work well, although the user interface was awful - small typefaces and very difficult to work. They helped me initially and promptly with various problems and responded well to my comments and suggestions on how to improve. However, when I became exasperated with the program's failures and asked for a refund, which took some time but eventually came through - a full refund.

I've used Duplicate File Finder for eight years, moving from computer to computer and always bringing the product with me. Support has been fabulous and the product is great! Steadily faster and easier to use.

These guys are great! Fast, accurate and helpful customer service. I've crashed my system about 5 times (fooling around where i shouldn't) and had to ask Ashisoft CS to help me re-establish by Duplicate Photo Finder program. get my license key, etc. Never been a problem. And the Dup Photo Finder is the best if you have loads of photos scattered around your system - it scans fast, clearly identifies the file paths, allows quick selection and batch deletion of dupes. Has never lost a photo, deletes only what I tell it to. I've bought a Lifetime Pro license because I'll be using it for a lifetime. Excellent value!

I mostly use Duplicate Photo Finder for finding exact duplicates and it does a great job and can check thousands of files in just a few seconds.
Support was also very fast and helpful when I lost my activation code after a windows reinstall.

The product works fantastic exactly like advised on the website if not better, it has saved me hours if not days / weeks going through all my duplicates. The staff are also more than helpful helping me with a couple of questions I had. Would highly recommend.

Had used the software in the past and could not find my code for activation. Sent a email, had a reply back next day with code and latest version on the software. That is great customer service.

At first I was really not having much positive insight with this program. However after a tech showed me where I was going wrong it came back on a positive side. The Tech walked me through the process step by step and am grateful that they were able to assist me. I would surely recommend this duplicate removal program to anyone seeking to release duplicates. This is the perfect program for deleting duplicate files. It's so very easy to use, and it's fast while searching through your files. I also want to comment on the service. I had an issue after purchasing it, and Ashisoft not only responded very quickly to my concern, but despite the fact it was an error on my part, they immediately assisted me in solving the issue I created. And I must add they were very polite in their response. I'm a fan!!!

This program (Duplicate Photo Finder) works very well, and is reasonably priced. I particularly like the fact that it allows for removal of multiple files, instead of one at a time, which I find very helpful. IT has been responsive and helpful with any problems. It's a great help at reducing disc clutter. Very good app!

I purchased Duplicate Photos Finder 0n 12th August 2005 and installed it to my PC.
However I needed to transfer it from my PC to Laptop.
I wrote multiple e-mails to ashisoft support e-mail address to help me transfer my license and until now (15th August 2025) no one even bothered to reply my mails. Not even a bot message. I feel I threw me money out of the window.

Licensing support request.

Sent a early morning support request for apps I bought from Ashisoft a few years ago. The issue has been dealt promptly. Within an hour or so, the issue was resolved and both apps were back and running again.
