Misleading product images, poor returns process, token refund
Be VERY CAREFUL if buying from them. I ordered the Maxime Men’s Denim Shirt. The shirt that arrived had pale markings across the front which were not clearly visible in the product photos and were not described in the listing.
Thinking this was a defect in the shirt, I contacted customer service and they arranged a replacement. Thus far I was impressed and satisfied.
Unfortunately, the replacement arrived with exactly the same markings. At that point it was clear this was not a one-off defect, but part of the actual product finish. The problem is that if you look at the photo online and read the description -- these markings are not described anywhere. So, I contacted them again. This time the customer service was terrible.
First they offered a small partial refund. Then, when I pushed back and offered two other solutions, they said I could return the items for a full refund, but only by sending them to China at my own cost, which they estimated at around €30–€40. Absolutely meaningless gesture.
In the end, I accepted a £12.74 partial refund simply to close the matter, not because it was a fair or satisfactory resolution.
I am extremely dubious about this company's practices. I would not order from them again, and I would strongly advise others to be very careful before buying. Check the return address, check the real product photos if you can, and do not assume the images on the site accurately represent what you will receive.
