Avithos Owner's Outrageous Behavior To Guests.
I stayed in May 2022 for my mums retirement gift only for our room to flood due to an issue with the hotels drainage systems and the owner to verbally assault us trying to blame us and telling us that we were liable for damages. we have never been scared or treated so badly whilst abroad. He clearly wanted to scare us as he returned to our room 3 times to scream and shout at us causing other guests to be very concerned and alarmed as we were 2 females holidaying alone.
My mum was physically shaken and even woke up during the night from feat he would return.
We had only arrived the previous day and the only hours we had spent in the room were sleeping and then that one shower where water began flooding from the bathroom drain.
The owner was that abusive towards us that the staff thought he was going to have a heart attack.
i have stayed in numerous hotels and resorts and never witnesses such outrageous behavior. If it had been in the UK the Police would have been called as it was serious verbal abuse.
