I would refrain from enrolling in services provided by a hosting company that publicly accuses either current or former clients of breaching their policies.

Promotional offers, such as providing a year of hosting for the price of just one month, may appear too good to be true. Subsequently, the company may find a reason to claim a violation of terms and conditions regarding the existence of a second account, compelling customers to pay for a full year of hosting, effectively disregarding the promotional offer initially advertised.

Many would label this practice as bait and switch, particularly since the terms were never explicitly stated back in 2018. It took several months for me to recover my funds from my credit card provider, but the charges were eventually reversed after this company breached the UK’s 14-day cooling-off period. They failed to recognize that I never had a second account, and who would agree to Terms of Service that are incomprehensible to highly intelligent individuals? Furthermore, discussing how a (current or former) customer allegedly violated your policies is unprofessional, especially in a public forum like Host Advice, which may infringe upon the Data Protection Act and/or privacy laws in the United Kingdom. Their company could face penalties if they were genuinely based in the UK, or if it was merely pretending to be located in the UK or Germany.

Ultimately, if you wish to squander your time with a company that consistently violates policies that change daily, you are welcome to sign up.

Loaded my site onto the free hosting service and it auto redirects all links to scam advertising websites. Completely worthless.

After more than two years of hosting my website and database, this service has proven to be very efficient.

The support team is very responsive, usually replying in less than two hours.

The only small downside would be the speed of the dashboard , each action makes the admin site feel a bit slow

However, when it comes to my website, it has been running smoothly for the past two years with virtually no maintenance required.

I highly recommend this service.

Their paid services are alright for the price we pay. The support responds typically within an hour. However, their servers are slow. Too many unplanned maintenance, and downtime. As I am writing this review, their service is down for more than 24 hours, all my websites are inaccessible. I am moving to another hosting provider. Do your research before you signup.

They claim to offer unlimited disk space - but they do not

Their free hosting is unreliable. They delibrately search up any term with high PPC and redirect your pages to shady urls in a dictionary. They steal your traffic to these urls. What an unreliable service. DO NOT SIGN UP.

It works until, but you have no SSL Cert. and they replace broken link with links to dangerous websites. Okay for testing website but consider paying a good host when you passed the testing phase since it's somewhat a horrible host.

They are replacing links on your webiste with links to fishy websites.

NO SSL certificate - even when you pay for it, youre not able to use it right away!

If you value your time, and money.. avoid this low tier, no name company at all costs. We wasted not only a whole day with them, but also lost money.

We joined their website, so that we could launch a quick landing page. We registered, passed the credentials on to our developer, and then allowed our developer to login and design the site for us. When he launched the site, of course they had no SSL certificate, and was their way to manipulate users into paying to upgrade. Since we already had the page created, we paid the fee to upgrade. Rather then being given what we paid for, we weren't given anything. Contacted their support, they made some excuse about waiting for their boss to approve the transaction. Approve the transaction? That's what the payment processor is for. Anyway, we waited.. just to get an email later saying they refunded are purchase, with no reason as to why. So we paid our developer, to create a webpage, that won't even be used. We're a registered business, who have done business with many reputable companies, as well as manage many reputable influencers and content creators... if anything we should be questioning your companies illegitimate practices.

This is the problem when you deal with low level, no name companies like this. I would strongly urge anyone who considered doing business with this company, to avoid it at all costs. They're completely unprofessional, their website is basic at best, and you will end up wasting your time. Do yourself a favor, stick with a reputable company... as this is NOT one of them.

i like how the website gives free subdomains but i ate it that my sites get put under 'not safe'. this only can completly change how people feel about you. you can have a youtube channal with 1000 subscribers and they believe you, you post a website and now they think you are a hacker and scammer that trys to steal ther passwords

My agency of 24 full-time web developers has been a very happy customer since 2012. I will never leave AwardSpace. Over the last 15 years, we've been a reseller for at least 10 well known hosting companies. AwardSpace offers far more value than all of them. *Period. When a client runs into a problem, it's not AwardSpace. It's always because the client/buyer may not know how to configure PHP settings, use SQL or other technical tools that AwardSpace makes available at no cost. Choose AwardSpace! I'm giving you expert advice.

I currently own a website with awardspace and to be honest, it runs so well I might buy another with them. I'm glad they give you the option to use code as I'm a web developer, plus its cheap, their support works great and they were nice enough to give me SSL and a SSL IP for free over the support feature! My website is empireznet.co.uk as proof of purchase.

These guys are pretty good and many of the reviews here appear to be genuine. Awardspace use an open source CPanel and allow a number of tickets to be made even on free accounts. If you are looking for a free web hosting company that will provide a long term and reliable service then I hate to break it to you but there is none. We have been using them for over 10 years at Mark Digital Media. And we cant complain.

I wouldn't recommend this company to any one wishing to buy hosting services. I paid for hosting recently and then out of nowhere my account got suspended no email no nothing. I think they are scammers. Not even a refund. I regret choosing to upgrade from free version maybe that's how they lure people into their scam.
